Welcome to San Francisco’s NEWEST skate spot, the UN Skate Plaza! This is a designated skate space in the heart of the city meant to encourage skateboarders to come and shred! At Braille Skateboarding our goal is to teach as many people to skate as possible and that is only possible if there are more safe places to skate and more accessibility!
Today, ‪@rickyglaser‬ becomes the first person in history to land the 360 grind here at the UN Skate Plaza!

We have a family business that we mainly do iron works, and we actually installed the 360 grind circle. Hope you guys enjoy it!!

Yes. We have a family business here in sf. We were told it was a new skate park, we have early pictures of the installation day and when we were making it. Glad it came out in video!! Our company is called Ferraru supreme works. We don't normally do work like that, but I feel like we can for sure do more rails. Glad you and your team enjoyed the new park!

I've been skating for 25yrs. I was always envious of kickflips out of 50/50. I would try them a couple times and quickly move on. Last week I finally just focused on that trick for 2 days an hour a day and finally landed it. I know it's a pretty intermediate trick but I was so happy.

Super sick, definitely not the first though. Pretty sure there's a video part where a skater does a 720 degree grind (two times around a circle.) It was a smaller circle than this one though.

for me it was a kickflip..... it took me 3 MONTHS to learn it and now im so glad and relieved that i did it☺. I also got tips from the braille team on how to do it. LOVE U GUYS

I used to grind up and transfer those metal spoke things inside that circle rail. I'd like nose grind up and pop around the pole then down the other side. Other than no having that anymore the rest is cool to see well minus the spectator railing that's a little disruptive.

Omg dude that was butter and ice. Butter smooth and ice cold! That grind will be legendary there and rightfully have your name on it. People there will be like, "I'm doing a Ricky!" Whenever someone tries to grind all the way around. In a few years they'll call it a drain or around the world. Especially with the U.N. flag there. You guys gotta come up north and do a park tour of Canada 🇨🇦. When I first started skating there was a couple of parks in Vancouver but now every city has one or two parks at least Especially on the west coast but basically from coast to coast there's at least one in every city. Some just street but some with pools and street or just transitions everywhere.
