It's really nice to see the girls get into the truck hobby. This young girl is not only pretty but very knowledgeable about the mods she's added to her truck, which is nice because she brings a different perspective to the hobby and makes people think. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed the video. I’d probably go with magnaflow exhaust and Bakflip MX4 cover instead. Tires and side steps are pretty sweet. Silverados best looking trucks on the road now.
Sara, I think a nice tip to ad, would be to adjust the headlights when you lift the front of the truck. Just my opinion. Thanks for posting this video.
I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado LTZ (4x4, 5.3L). Here are my five mods 1. DiabloSport 8245 inTune i3 canned tune -- woke this truck up, no more 4-cylinder mode, and tons more options 2. Bilstein 5100 longer tube rear shocks and adjustable front struts -- 1.9" "safer" lift in the front 3. Rear blocks (3", removed spacer...so, 2" up higher in the back) -- I am "good" with a slight GM forward rake 4. Resonator delete -- straight exhaust outlet with chrome tip now 5. Higher airlow intake 5.1 Michelin LTX AT2 (one size taller vs stock...about 32.5" height) tires Overall, fairly "mild" mods to this truck, but to each their own. I think it rides, sounds, and looks better than the day I drove it new off the lot. It will go 85 mph straight down the road with not much road noise, vibrations, etc. More comfortable. The Bilstein shocks/struts are freakin' amazing.
I have a 2019 LTZ, Satin Steel in color. I purchased the aftermarket "CHEVROLET" Chrome inserts for the tailgate, man they really look good and are classy. Self adhesive, took 1/2 hour install, very easy. Anyone can get these online, mine cost about $57.00. Just take your time and prep. the tailgate prior to install. I get asked about they all the time. Man the girl in this video is attractive!
Very easy on the eyes... ya, the hottie... but the truck is nice too. Have those exact same Nittos on my 2019 Silverado LTZ Max Trailering Package. Put Rough Country 10 LED's in the grill, a Lund Tonneau cover, tailgate black lettering, K&N air filter, black front bowtie, and going to order the body graphics black rally stripe package, and sooner or later, the Borla true duel stainless steel exhaust so my 6.2Ltr can breath.
I have a 2007 new body 1500 I’ve done just about everything here except I got 35 tires with a 6 in lift but she’s on point with that corsa exhaust has a badass deep growl no drone what so ever👍🏼
What’s crazy is that I have those same wheels and tires combo. Only exception is that my Chevy is on a 7in Lift and sitting on 35in Nitto Ridge grapplers and 20x12s Fuel Mavericks. Looks amazing on that truck too😉
First upgrades as soon as I get the truck: Cold Air Intake and Cat Back Exhaust system for the 6.2L. Already have steps and a bedliner. Eventually a Whipple Supercharger (maybe). Too expensive though. Will probably lift it and get 22" rims and tires also. I actually like the stock 10 spoke High Country rims. (classy looking). Great video : )
I just got a 2020 Trail Boss. The first thing I did was order a Flow master American Thunder Cat back from American Trucks. Think I'll get the front windows tinted next.
Next add a zone upper A-arm for three extra inches of droop, it makes the ride so much smoother too, also a high clearance front bumper is a must, although I’m not impressed by any of them, I have an Addictive desert design and the fit isn’t great and it’s more cosmetic than functional unfortunately, I wish ARB made a bumper for the silverado , they make functional good looking bumpers.
my 2020 custom had 20" 275 60 tires OEM. its 4wd. also the $1300 GM lift will not void your factory warranty and upgrades the shocks to mono ranchos. oh, its 2.7Turbo and smokes the 275 tires very easily.
Thanks for watching, Basil! Exhaust systems just for the sake of being loud isn't everyone cup of tea, so I get that. But if you have a V8 and want to hear just a *little* more growl, I support it. 😁 -Zach
Yea i have a trail boss as well you can't add just a regular level kit if u want it truly level u have to get an a arm kit so thats my next to do mod I have an under strut saucer now but still im and inch from true level
Ok now i will give you a #WorkingMan's list for starters if you want a offroad style just get the *TrailBoss or AT4* already has sidesteps, aggressive tires, wheels & a lift kit that doesn't look stupid when towing (unless you just posing then go for the level) 1. Cold Air intake 2. Muffler insert whole lot more moneys worth 3. Sports Bar with racks 4. Side wall tool box in the wider space they have 5. A custom Tune for sure
Feel free to check out our full selection of exhaust systems on our site! We offer plenty that will work with the stock dual exhaust! -Zach www.americantrucks.com/silverado-exhaust-systems-2019.html
We don't have an install for that specific leveling kit, but we have plenty of other leveling kit install videos on our site! You're not wrong! The UnderCover tonneau that we chose here is definitely one of the higher-price options, but it comes with a ton of nice features and will definitely last the lift of your truck. You can definitely go with more budget level options though! -Zach
I'm interested in putting this pro comp leveling kit on my 2019 Silverado .... I just want to make sure if the truck sits nice and level ...I've heard from other leveling kits that still leave the truck lower in the front then in the back..and others do the opposite...so can you please tell me the outcome on this product. ,?? Thanks in advance .
I just added a 2" RC level and my truck is still slightly higher in the back. It's barely noticeable but I'm pretty sure a 2.25" level would be actually level.
Factory Mud Flaps, are Okay, But you can get the longer ones from Chevy. that protect the Step Assists better, $110.00 for 4. Shame that Chevy. just doesn't use the longer ones from Factory. It's all about $$$$$.
Nitto g2s ride like crap! I don't recommend them for a 1500. They rode well on a duramax I had, probably because it was heavier. So I thought they'd be ok on a 1500 Sierra I bought later. Not the case. Those tires are just too stiff.
You may have had the PSI a bit too high, in all honesty. E load range tires do tend to ride stiff but by lowering the PSI you can get them to be pretty smooth (for an LT tire, anyway). -Zach
The first upgrade is to get a Ram. My son came home to Texas on leave last Christmas and traded his 2019 Ram 4x4 for a 2021 Silverado and drove back to Phili. In May this year he came back to Texas from Phili for his sisters graduation and he never got past Roanoke Va. before his engine failed. They gave him a loaner and he drove back after his leave was up and picked up his truck. Again he has made the drive from Phiili to Texas for his last Christmas before he is reassigned to Korea and made it 6 hours past Roanoke to the middle of Tenn and once again his engine has crapped out. I guess that Chevy engines are not suitable for cross country driving. He should have kept his Ram. I am on my 4th Ram since 1997 and have no issues in over 100k each.
Not too sure of what specific codes we're going to have come Black Friday, but keep a look out on the site! You should start to see deals coming up early next week! -Zach
Not this time around! We didn't have a specific budget in mind with this build, we really just wanted to show what can be done appearance-wise with these new Silverados! Thanks for watching! -Zach
It depends, really. If you keep the same diameter tire and just change the size of wheel, there won't be a need to update the ECU. If you go up to a larger tire size it would be beneficial though! -Zach
1:56 have a look bud, definitely rust, the frames on these newer gm trucks are prone to it because of the frame wax they use that rubs off easily. I have a 2016 with the same issue.
No matter what brand truck you drive, if you live in a road salt area, the first place you should bring that thing, is a proper undercoat facility. My last two trucks have had this, and there have been 0 issues with rust.
Sara is still over at ExtremeTerrain, don't worry! She also does installs with their sister company right here at AmericanTrucks! Thanks for watching at both channels! -Zach
More. Rims/tires $2500, tonneau cover $1200, exhaust $400-$500, steps $400-$500, leveling kit $300. $4800-$5000 plus voided warranties. And all this is assuming you do the work yourself.
