Whether you are learning Cree, or Michif, or Nuxalk, or Blackfoot, or a whole range of other languages in what is now called Canada, one of the real challenges is the verb endings - there's way more of them than in English or French, and they are a real obstacle to learners very early on.
In this video I'll explain some of the challenges around transitive and intransitive verbs, as well as very briefly outline how we might go about working through the problem. Hopefully this video will be followed by many more that will actually teach the endings for you!
