The comedy's great, but there's something even more important: "I need to be reminded occasionally about what it means to be a part of this Empire". There's some serious drama writing in here too and that must never, ever, ever, be devalued or forgotten.

@@KristopherPrime arm bands in uniforms, especially in an attempt to differentiate very similar/identical uniforms is a common thing. the term for both official and temporary armbands used for this (or just fashion) is brassard. they were widely used in ww1 for example to differentiate branch of service, and in many cases to differentiate sides (such as ukraine currently, or between hungarians and romanians after the later switched sides in ww2)

Well no I would argue that Kallus’s progression to disliking the Empire is at least justified. That episode with him and Zeb was all that he needed to start his path of defecting. Iden however did not do well

Agreed, based on an engine. Going back to my early life their was a series that I adored as much as you with this. In 2003 when dialup internet made bee boops Red vs Blue was born. Also based on an engine. It is not the graphics that make it interesting, it is the characters and scripts and the heart behind it. Red vs Blue went on for 18 seasons, considering it aired on a platform when half the world didn't even know what the true internet was or just could not afford it.

I love how lively some of the stormtroopers are. If only they were portrayed like this in the films, I bet people will root for them as much as they root for clones. Character development over there

Outside of Mara's character feeling wrong, I love this series and it's pitch perfect! It kind of reminds me of a sillier, Star Wars version of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.
