People making judgement on standard after watching 9 minutes with one man trying to get snookers at the end of a world final. Seriously? Spencer actually made a smooth 51-break to open this frame. This is the first EVER Crucible final--the footage is like gold dust.
I thought exactly the same, it never really came out at the time but Cliff Thornburn was high on drugs a lot of the time, thats not my opinion, there is a TV piece on youtube that shows Bill Werbenick(wrong spelling I bet) saying this exactly, after he was unable to drink during his matches. Nobody mentions that Neil Foulds was stopped because he was taking beta blockers.
This is for people who really don’t have anything to do. I only started getting into snooker with the whirlwind. These guys make Peter Ebdon matches look like an F1 race
