@p6id for real. Give the game a chance to breathe. It needs certain features absolutely, but we can't expect them right off rip. If they fix drop rates to be more accurate and maybe increase the drop rates based on how many times you've completed an activity, I think this game would be in a sweet spot

@@mr.gameandteach7197 Drop rates will never change. Bungie, Digital Extremes, and other Looter Shooter Developers are Western based and western culture tends to capitalize more on Cosmetics. Eastern audiences tend to like/enjoy long grinds and multi-layered systems of acquisition. (In many old Eastern MMORPGs they had level caps that in order to break through them you had to acquire a list of items with a 1% drop rate. Western MMOs eventually ended that trend but even now it gets discussed by eastern developers.) Basically, they value the dopamine hit from finally getting something to drop (hence the gacha craze from Eastern games) more so than other systems. Nexon has always had abysmally low drop rates. If you look at the way things are priced and how Calibur is acquired. It's essentially designed to force you to spend more than you need. I have told my friends. We can play this casually, but Warframe will stay my main game. I work 2 jobs. I don't have time to spend the literal entire day farming 1 mission for a drop so I can craft an item needed to make another drop so I can finally make the character/weapon I desire.
you would think that a game like this would learn from its "inspirations" like warframe and destiny but it seems they just took the mechanics at the basest level and added some frustrating mechanics to them. also weird desync stuff where im mag dumping an enemy that i can normally 1 or 2 shot but no hits are registering.
Took 7 hours just to get freynas last part in the shelter mission. Also jus wasted 3 of the ultra precise analyzer without succeeding once. Also the materials in there are needed for characters, and for TFD equivalent version of warframes catalyst and forma. And can’t even craft the analyzers jus gotta farm and hope they drop. And going to need tons. Like 1000 wouldn’t be too many. Yea gl with that. 🙄
Its a looter shooter, and its a korean one. Dont know what you were expecting, the game is designed to be tedious and burn you so you end up paying for what you wanted. It toys with the capacity of people to get adicted over nothing.
I preface this by saying that I do, in fact, enjoy the game. There is a good framework here to build around, and I hope Nexon can make the game a success. Also, the first two items have been stated as development goals, but mever should have been left out at launch. That said, I'm going to add several more points to your list: 1. Launching without a guild/clan system was a major misstep. They need to add that ASAP, doubly so due to the lack of grouping features for hard mode. 2. There's no trading system. This is another major miss and needs addressed quickly. 3. While both Defense and Elemental Resist state they cap at 80% damage reduction, there is nowhere that tells you what you're currently at. 4. In addition to your points about bosses, the invasion bosses need reworked. Every boss is simply "drain first health bar, pop their three invul orbs, drain next bar, repeat" while they neverending adds. 5. While the game looks and runs great on my PC, even after the PS5 optimization patches there are still frame drops and graphical hitches (especially noticeable with Gley's lab coat).
Completely agree with the trading system! Let us have a way to get premium currency for free ! Only thing holding me back from actually spending $$$ on the game
There isn't a need for a trading system currently. If in a few months there is a big player base still then sure. You've forth point is spot on. I want to add to that by saying the minions also are so REPETITIVE. To the point where eventually I think it will be a deal breaker
Aside from horrendous drop rates, two of the biggest annoyances I have in this game is Void Fusion missions and no knock down immunity. The fact that it consumes the mats of anyone who has enough Void shards. If 1 person in a party has enough and the other 3 don't, it will only consume shards from the person who has enough and activated the mission and everyone in the party can still open 1 pattern for participating. BUT if all 4 players have enough shards, it will consume EVERYONE'S shard for the same result of opening 1 pattern. Definitely need to change that so it only consumes the person activating it OR give a lot more shards (which imo, the former is a better solution) While it was nice of them to increase the "get up" action and reduce knock down duration, the fact you have no immunity and can get chain knocked is VERY annoying. Small thing though. Drop rate is a story in its own. Nexon does have a history of fake drop rates. Which granted, it could be a different team within Nexon but that doesn't rule it out. The fact that I can farm for a pattern in a recon mission and get as many stabilizers as I do patterns is unreal. Which statistically, should literally never be the case considering a 20-25% "drop rate" for pattern vs stabilizers that have a "drop rate" of 1.5-2%. "Wow you must be so lucky getting those 2% more than 25%" after grinding 15 hours for 1 code, this should be literally impossible numbers to have as many stabilizers as patterns. There needs to be some change to alleviate the pain of cascading RNG. Like with Warframe having a selection system where if you have ONE person in your party whos lucky, you can select their reward as your own. Not only will it promote more party play, it will make drops feel like painful. I love grinding but to grind 1 mission for a low chance only to grind another mission to try another low chance only to not get it is abysmal. Yes leeching would be a problem with that but its already a problem so might as well knock 2 birds with 1 stone.
I hate cascading low droprates. Having a 3% drop chance for an item is fine imo. Having a 3% chace for an item which itself comes from another item that also has 3% is plain bs lol.
That’s 100% my issue, drop rates are awful, and I’ve did atleast 15 runs for a thing you need to do a boss run and got 1 thing to drop. I literally do not feel like playing it after that.
What's baffling is that Gaming Bolt completely ignores Warframe as an option or comparison, considering it is direct, successful, and long-time competitor to Destiny.

The gameplay loop is boring. You do the same three things over and over. All the bosses are the same bullet sponges with the three orb mechanic. Enemies are generic and lifeless. Its just a micro transaction cash grab that wont last 2 years.
wow three games I enjoy, lets see if the mix is interesting and gameplay-wise it is. the loot and the monetisation are what stinks and I'm not sure my interest will survive them
Though I fully understand the want to "Kick" AFK players as on it's surface alone. I agree. However, I have seen this abused in other games as well. Oh, I'm an Ajax, I don't want an Ajax in my group, and I'm getting kicked for no good reason. I see this abused more then I see AFK players freeloading. However, maybe a compromise is to allow you to kick after the match so you can't get stuck with an AFK party member for several rounds. Something like this anyway
Why is everyone avoiding saying that the game is good. It is good holy crap, it does have problems, like every other looter shooter. That simple. Also it is FREE... I feel like you guys are forgetting FREE. FREE Content FREE Characters FREE Abilities. Oh but Destiny..... That game is hardly free 50 dollar dlcs and 20 dollar skins pbffftt. I think the game is a blast but overall this video is criticism which is very important for the beginning stages of a live service looter shooter. If the community didn't vocalize problems we'd still have that horrible paint scam.
What they need to do is bring back the connected open worlds that the beta had, it made the world feel like actually open world locations to explore, now it's just zones with smaller zones in them
1) Bad luck protection for rare items is legit 2) Some boss fight misbalanced 3) Melee weapons for variety All the rest is barely worth mentioning its so minor. Frankly i was expecting much worse from a free to play game, but so far it's solid.

Have to agree with all of these. I really want to like this game, and if I’m being honest, I’m still having fun with it. But as a solo player, I don’t see it being fun or even viable to play in the long run.
One of the faults i have is i can't change the colors of my default skins. The grinding isn't much of a problem, though. The game just came out, it could get better in time
I played the beta and enjoyed although I. thought it became very repetitive as in, shoot waves of enemies then one mini-boss and repeat. The full game don't get me wrong is still quite similar but it has moved in the right direction.
Ive been playing it. It was fun enough for a few hours. Just sorta braindead gameplay though. But I guess thats what people want out of these kinds of games. If someone likes it and wants to play longterm then alright. I wonder though, if the grind was removed from the game completely. Just level up and unlock stuff then receive it immediately, would people still enjoy it? I imagine most would not. I think the underlying gameplay is pretty subpar. Getting close to bad. Just the grind and tease of unlocking stuff is what draws people in. Maybe people have a kink for being manipulated lol. But if you genuinely like it okay. People like what they like.
Loot pools are too muddled. They need to remove the weapons that you can earn just by killing enemies from the end of mission rewards. Keep it to just mods and descendant/weapon parts. Also anamorphis material should be 100% drop rate in its respective missions.
The worst thing about this game to me is the matchmaking. It ruins the fun when someone is overleveled in our party running through the mission and all we’re doing is trying to play catch up. It’s horrible
For me is very similiar to Warframe in the very beginning, and they actually did something special out of it. Game is out for a few days, so lets just see what they do with it. More variety is needed to keep players engage in a long term, but for now is a nice mindless free looter shooter if you play it like for 2 or 3 hours per session.
no one talking about how every enemy haves lock on aim where u can not dodge or evade shots and every bullet and beem and balls are just locking on and hitting u
They need to add a feature where you can delete stuff from the lost and found. Why do I have to add it all to my inventory and majority of the time it’s all bullshit low lvl stuff
All legitimate points except for your hud issue. I think the hud is fine. I understand that you want customization options, but the hud is NOT overwhelming.
This game has problems but Nexon seems to be trying to fix them at least and this game is fun to play with friends and randoms the grinding for other characters little annoying
I have done the mission on Kingston for the long distance grapple 93 times I still haven’t got it I played with both my friends they both got it first try on separate runs

1: Feel like they just released it since they couldn't think of anything to really change and make it better. Letting us have a go and they add/ fix later on 2: Custom layout won't allow 2 button input. (Ex: change Lb + A -> Rb + A)
I prefer the longer grind to get the 1% drop rate for a rare item. Makes it worth going back for. If folks complain, they clearly never played an MMO or an ARPG that has under 1% drop rates for a rare unique legendary item. Its a free game, why so much complants.
If you're talking about a low % drop for a legendary item that you only need one, sure, that's fine. When it comes to pieces of an item though, that's bullshit. Nothing wrong with people who play this game having never played MMOs and ARPGs before, by the way. Different genres. As for complaints, it's cause we wanna like the game, but there's a few problems getting in the way. So, we complain for a while and if it doesn't work we quit playing. That's normal. The weird thing is seeing people D-riding Nexon, of all companies.

My problem is the inventory system. They should separate weapons from external components and reactors. And 100 slots only? That's not enough. In warframe it's understandable because you are crafting the weapon while in this game almost any rare weapon, you want to find a god roll you really want and i bet there will be more weapons coming after this patch. D2 also has this problem until now and even with 600 slots, it is still not enough for some people.
For me it's mod inventory slot. I only save 2 of each mod (1 to full lvl up, the other just for precausion if i don't have enough mod slot to equip). That alone taking 750/1000. Warframe don't have mod inventory limit, not to mention i don't see any mod inventory slot increase on caliber shop. The worse part of it, you can't delete mod on mission, unlike other equipment. One time i get gold mod icon drop but my mod inventory is full. The pain.... And yeah whoever design that chest opening sequence is sick, my reaction is not that good for that narrow window of time, waste of code analyzer.
It takes way too long to actually get ultimate descendants. I literally quit in the middle trying to get ult bunny is wild. They need to just add the ugrade option to the basic characters instead of looking for material

I don't understand the prices though, if they charged a lot less they would get more buyers and make more money in total. £90 for 1 ultimate char is insane if it was £20 I world look at buying some occasionally. but at the prices I wont by anything and play for free. cheers Nixon you played yourselves!!!
Can't say most of these are 'need' to fix. Paint is probably the only really bad aspect of customization, especially with no other game being that egregious. Caliber purchases were already fixed.

Lot of folks complaining about the drop rates, clutter, and insane demands for crafts. People are forgetting that this is essentially a Korean MMORPG at the DNA level. Gamers in the Eastern regions LOVE grinding and gacha mechanics. Hence why the bulk of their games have very, very low drop rates and an insane amount of items to collect, gather, and craft just to make one item, in order to make another item. For western audiences this game will be a fun game to dabble in but it will 1000% be too much frustration and too big of a time sink for them.
I would say the game overall is good but the inventory system is horrible. It's after every battle or two I have to stop customize and look at my gear and loot and decide what to keep and want to dissemble and that takes about 10 minutes each time unless I just destroy it all. Just a waste of time
Considering what trash has released at 70$ for a free game I’ve been having fun, and the grind isn’t even that bad compared to other games in the genre.
People keep claiming that they know what rng is. I did some research, and it said, there's no actual thing as real rng. There are actually 3 different types of artificial rng. And they all scale off of parameters. In game rng can be changed they do it all the time by scaling and this game is awful
This game also needs a trade system and the battle pass needs a complete rework because once i get done with everything there is NOTHING keeping there hell the garbage customization is already a huge killjoy so the "fashion" aspect is already dead.
Encrypted vaults are too hard for how important the loot it holds like it's the only way to get resources for energy activators and the forma for this game.
i already quit. that fucking Pyromancer is a bitch of a wall block for everyone. Unless you throw money at the game to upgrade your current Descendants, or play it for 12 hrs a day so you can upgrade everything, nada. I have an upgraded Freyna and alas the 200-billion HP Pyromancer is stoppng me from progressing after trying to go and matchmake for Pyro and still not being able to beat it, that extreme bullet sponge aint it. At least Once Human is coming in a few days and ill be able to dump this shitty beautiful game.
@@cartoonvideos5 Not intended pay walls, intended grind walls. The game is meant to be grindy. Sure, you could pay to give yourself a bit more power, but you still have to go through the process of grinding out levels, mods and decent gear. I haven't a wall come up yet for me and I'm totally free.
12 hours a day? theres not time limit. The game is a grinding looter shooter. you need to take time to farm to upgrade your equipment at your own pace no need for 12 hours a day

so there is an afk kicking mechanism but it is something that takes place within 20 minutes to 1 hour to actually kick you, the loot percentage is the common Korean thing (BDO has had less than 1% drop rates before), personally I like how melee sits right now, I do not want it to be like Warframe.
This is game is looking very bland in terms playable characters' appearance where you see many clones of yourself in Albion. I cannot give this game more than a 7/10.
There’s many clones because the early game only gives you 4 characters. The rest you have to grind to unlock all 14 current characters. And they’ll be adding a new character every month or two. it does suck that all the skins are micro transactions though.
It’s an online gaas. Why are developers refusing to make a straightforward 3rd person shooter? No loot boxes, no open world or rpg elements, just a fun 3rd person shooter.
Here is my list of what needs to change: 1) Player collision with other players needs to be removed. 2) That quote the character says every time their shields are down needs to be removed. 3) That NPC that upgrades mods needs to STFU. 4) Grapling hook needs to retain velocity. 5) Freyna needs a bigger ass.
1 thing to change for this video, volume scaling. Why is the gameplay so damn loud e.e listening through the car as i wait outside and it sounds like I'm in a freaking shootout like. Edit: the game definitely has some issues but all in all game is okay right now. Mine only real problem is the server lag spikes but that could be MS fault. Monetization means nothing to me since if it's overpriced i just won't buy it. Also melee combat isn't needed in every game. I think most of the people here should just play D2 or Warframe and not ask TFD to be D2 or Warframe.
i hate how this game touts itself as a next gen looter shooter but they couldn't implement a basic crouch mechanic or cover system and instead opted for a dodge roll mechanic which is absolutely garbage, the fact every wall and crate is more than waist high just takes me out of the immersion.
I have uninstall this crap, its the same thing over and over. You shouldn't have to do a quest 27 times and still not get an item that's "20%" drop rate which is confirmed not true. This is done to push players to purchase out of frustration. But this is Nexon so I expect this. Glad I didn't spend anything.

Where are the unique characters they all seem bland, the game has a foundation but they need to go big with the descendent style. The beta had better bones and they gutted so much in an attempt to see more products. They need to walk first then start to experiment. The customization sucks, the characters suck. The weapons suck, the grind sucks. And maybe if the grind was worth it maybe it could have a pass but no. Where are the different races, bodies style? Everyone is the same height and weight even the tanks and it takes away from the immersive experience. The game is lacking a lot
