Yeah my first time doing it was very confusing, the game itself is confusing as well. A bunch of the mods aren't even explained in the menus. means lots to discover!

​@@AlphaRod69the mods are definitely hard. Easier to understand than Warframe was for me lmfao. But I feel like once people start getting use to it they'll understand more. Everytime I run into people having questions I help them a lot. I see people rushing the story but then don't understand why they die so fast in hard mode. They got a lot of dialogue and quests to help understand the resetting the character to make it stronger but I noticed people skip the dialogue a lot

@@baguettelauncher8839 Exactly! It's not like the game is difficult anyways, so a short summary with some visual examples and players should be set to take over the encounter, instead, other RU-vidrs take 20 minutes to talk about something that can be covered in no more than 5 minutes.

Well, I guess I get grouped with those random people who are doing it for their first time it and didn't watch a guide beforehand...like I did my first try at it

none of these are basic buddy. This boss literally share none of the mechanic with any other bosses in the game, and his mechanic is literally explained no where unless you specifically look up for his info.

@@kaleidoscope3234 This bosses mechanics are super simple lol. It’s shoot until the vials fill up, grab cube, run while the others shoot until vials go down, put cube back. I noticed it immediately on my first run “hey there’s this giant ass altar that no other boss has, this probably has something to do with the fight” and figured out the mechanic on my second run no guide needed after the boss one shot everyone in the first run and I knew there had to be some way to prevent it. It’s really stupid that so many people can’t figure this out making farming this boss without a dedicated group hella annoying.

@@WhoStoleMyNachos how did you figure out your team was one shotted by the altar instead of the boss on your first run? was there a visual cue from the altar toward your team? and how did you figure out removing the cube stop the altar from charging up? how did you know boss go enrage and become invulnerable when there is a very long delay between removing the cube and the boss becomes enrages? how did you know putting the cube back turn the boss normal again? How did you figure out the tongue was it's only weakness during rage mode and you are supposed to break it, when your hand is occupied with the cube and the boss have more than one weakness, with the tongue the hardest to hit? You just standing in front of that thing charging up a near one-shot AoE attack and dying over and over? And most importantly, if you have it all figure out on the second run already, why are you here, on a "complete guide video" about the boss? What compelled you to type that "Hangman complete guide" on youtube search? Please do go through your entire thought process, I am very interested in your feat of ingenuity.

There’s a giant altar under the boss that no other boss has so it’s clearly not decoration, it’s not a herculean feat of logic and thinking to realize that hey there’s this altar with a cube in front of it and this boss has a supposedly completely random undodgeable team wipe that instantly ends the run, maybe these two things are connected. And then basic experimentation from there leads you to the rest of the info about the boss raging and breaking the weak point to reduce the blood in the vials. As for why I was on this video… there could be any number of reasons? I could be subscribed to this channel and clicked on the most recent video, I could’ve randomly clicked on a video that appeared in my feed, I could be commenting on how funny I find it that a simple bosses mechanics are too difficult for the average public intercept player to understand, there are any number of reasons other than me searching up a guide for a boss I can’t beat and then pretending it’s super easy in the comments lmao

The game is new, most people will learn the strats, and it will spread around us. The boss is not that hard. Just people are not use to that "mechanic" during that boss phase.

@@RandyOrtega1225 It's a boss fight, ofcourse it need "mechanic", else it's just kind of bullet sponge standing in front. I assume, you didn't play other kind of game like destiny or warframe, division, they have that, provide more teamplay than individual dps. My opinion, Have a good day sir

@@marc-andrelachapelle5707 it what he is getting at is pretty much the average random player is stupid. I’ve done this fight 40+ times on public matches and failed each one. Had one dude raging telling me put the cube back because he thought I was trolling. So I cannot beat this boss because people are stupid

​@marc-andrelachapelle5707 I've played both of those and "mechanical" boss fights are always less fun than basic dps checks. I think Warframe's eidolons were the best mix of both and thought the monsters here were following in those foot steps. Having an invulnerable phase with a weak point to break is great enough for me. Running around with a cube while being constantly assaulted with no way to fight back and hoping 3 other people can land their shots on a target that wiggles more than a kid with adhd on a sugar high in math class, is not fun in the slightest. I have wiped like 6 times now because PEOPLE CANNOT DESTROY THE MOUTH CANNON. They just can't do it.

he uses bunny , it has basically 0 defenses

I used a Ajax had 20k def and 18k life. With bubble and wall I can eat his attacks all day.

It's a monster, definitely the best value per bullet rifle in the game. With some adjustments me and a few friends have gotten it to ~430k DPS

yeah, randoms are challenging to work with, i would suggest using the first descendant discord to look for people or use the in game voice chat

Absolutely, if you have enough DPS you can skip the mechanic, mostly a guide for new players

yes, somebody needs to be holding the cube when the mouth core is destroyed

The problem is the whole game has no mechanic . So they throw in a boss with a wipe mechanic. The bosses mouth beam moves to much sometimes impossible to hit

Its now at 400k DPS after some fine tuning, I can make a video explaining the key mods if you want!

@@AlphaRod69 mods make the dps go up? Am i just now finding this out? I really couldn't tell and i beat hangman already but yeah i would loke that if you could make a video about it

@@MusashiHeadSplitta Most of the guides out for DPS aren't actually DPS increases. they mainly use fire rate mods which aren't actually good for boss fights as you want to preserve your ammo, not burn it. I'll definitely make a video for you, it should be ready in a day at most. When completing the campaign I only ran 3 mods on my guns. Rifling reinforcement, Better concerntration and Better Insight. That's it, the real DPS comes once you get Crystallization catalysts and you can mod your gun past the regular limit, you get one for completing the campaign.

The rage meter was still full then. Gotta make sure a teammate is holding onto the cube when you destroy it or else you’ll get no reduction

No, just refarm it - will take some time but its not so bad to get it

I did too last night haha. I don't plan on refarming it. Tamer is so good to really not need the thunder cage

@@kuzokuro727 bunny doesn't need a gun for mobbing. Just focus Elect and fusion and you'll be solid

yeah the lasers are very hit or miss depending on which descendant you are playing, although 90% of the playerbase are playing bunny when they reach this boss. I'd recommend looking for a group in the first descendant discord, probably more coordination there.

@AlphaRod69 thank I just beat it, tho lol like a few minutes after I made this comment. I just said f it and became a runner with gley max defense and HP mods, and it worked out

JuSt KiLl iT fAsT eNoUgH Yes. Yes, if you kill it fast enough you can skip the mechanic. Assuming you aren't lying about completing it 4 times in a row with randoms, you got extremely lucky. I've done about 10 runs so far where almost everyone didn't do any damage. I get people camping in the back with a handgun. A HANDGUN 😅

@@jonahbrown5669 I famred it for I believe a Gley piece and I'd say about 80% of the time we (me and randoms) killed it before the mechanic. If you're having that hard of a time I'd suggest using world chat and farming it with other competent players who want to do the same.
