I have this fridge. It is THE BEST thing I've ever purchased! It's simply amazing!! You can fit so much in that freezer with all the difference sections. Our produce last so much longer than our previous fridge. The price has gone up significantly since we got ours but still totally worth it.

I bought this piece of crap last year. Water dispenser doesn't work. Tech blames watercpressure so i fixed with alot of money. Now same issue. So pissed off. It wasn't the water pressure. I called bb to fix again and they now refuse and send me to manufacturer. Now manufacturer will send tech but might charge me. Avoid this piece of junk. Update: manufacturer arrived and found out it was a bad valve. A Manufacturer defect. He fixed it in 10 mins. BB owes me 1 year supply of water and an apology for their misdiagnosis.

I've seen many fridges in my life.. this may look fancy and big but it's definitely not.. if you need a big storage, this is not a good fridge for you.. and also, there are also many possible technical problems in future..

I decided to buy a Kitchen aid fridge because I thought they were better quality. After less than 2 month old the fridge stopped working, the temperature went up to 50F the technician came he didn’t even look at it, he said it’s the fan. We asked for a replacement and kitchen aid said sorry it’s not in our contract. That is unacceptable . if you know your fridge is going to break in a few months DO NOT SELL IT TO THE PUBLIC weeks later I am still waiting with no fridge. and still no one came to fix it. You didn’t even offer to give me a temporary fridge. And please stop telling us that you know our frustration every time we call you..

Rachel Bitton Seriously, if they wont return it as a lemon, you should either take 'em to small claims court, or work with your bank (credit card) to do a charge back. Keep notes on every interaction with the company, and dates of breakdown and poor function. Be sure to use the magic word, "This feels like *fraud*" and you'll get a refund. The idea of class action is very appealing, too. Get it out there on fakebook, twitter, instagram, changeDOTorg, etc. I realize this is replying to an old comment, but someone else might get satisfaction. Doesn't sound like anything has changed. I used to love KA, highly recommend their DW. QUIET, so quiet!

I bought a brand new KA refrigerator at Lowe’s and I had to call them 3 times to fix it. The form of the ice cube looks like everything you want but not the normal ice cube!!!

mine stopped cooling 5 times with food waste and damaged floors due to water leakage... technician came 3 times ans replaced a control board and then deemed it non repairable because the lighting went on it... looks good but so do hot models... worst fridge on the market considering price and quality... get an LG!

We have this refrigerator. The first year we had it, the seals needed to be replaced. The second year many issues started occurring. The defrost mechanism has failed on numerous occasions requiring repair. The computer panel has failed and that panel has now been replaced two times. Issues with the Ice maker not making Ice necessitating more service calls. Most recently the Ice dispenser has failed. Extremely dissatisfied with the reliability of this refrigerator. We are now looking for a replacement refrigerator. Manufacturers are selling extremely poorly made products.

Be warned, this is a piece of junk. Ice maker dripping water all over, stops making ice every now and then, makes loud noises especially when making ice, too many problems to name a few. Had too many calls to customer service with too many mis diagnosis and problems still unresolved. Way too expensive for so many problems. Stay away from this model!

This Fridge is a huge Lemon! Leaking and freezer door freezes shut for past year! Have had appliance repair people out numerous times and have changed out parts. Also changed water hose to a larger size thinking the water was backing up and freezing only to continue with same issues. Finally a year later and our extended warrenty almost running out, we are in the middle of trying to get it declared unrepairable and be compensated for it. It has been a HUGE nightmare! Run don't walk away from buying this. I would never buy Kitchenaid again, although I don't know if there is a reliable appliance company left at this point.

Ice maker broken!!! This thing is not worth the 3500 bucks. Freezer door is warped and will not seal completely. We have 5 in the house and the ice maker cannot keep up. Not even close. Time to make this thing a garage overflow box. Our LG in the basement has double ice maker and rocks! 1/3 the price.

I have the 5 door version of this fridge. It’s 5 years old and I’m being forced to spend $1500 plus labor on replacing the boards as the refrigerator shuts its self off randomly. KitchenAid was talking to me on social, offed to help but is no longer responding.

I would love to get this fridge, but due to the reviews I just can't do it. Kitchen aid please fix the problems that people are complaining about. They've been complaining about the same thing for YEARS!!! This should have been addressed already, shame on your for not fixing the problems.

AVOID!!! I've had a repairman visiting on this fridge every six months for a range of problems. Each time they solve it, it seems to work for a short period of time, then some other thing effects the refridgerator from working properly.

I’m on my third KITCHENAID fridge. First one stopped working after 5 months. Second one never even cooled from day one! Third fridge I have now has had to have a new ice maker installed, a new compressor and tons of other issues. Never will buy KITCHENAID again!

So disappointed with this Fridge. Issues from day 1 and all Kitchenaid is doing is sending technicians that don't do anything to fix the problem and are refusing to take any other action. Very disappointed customer.

Here is the update on my 2 year old frig. The unit has been down since August 1st 2023 the unit can not be repaired due to lack of available parts. The Home depot warranty company has now refunded 100% of the purchase price plus tax. I wanted to add that in 2020 we bought the Frig , dish washer and range ALL UNITS HAVE FAILED IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS OF USE. What a joke

There are 10 flaws. 1. Noisy 2.rust fast. 3.horrible moisture CONTROL. 4.valve issues so water can often stop. 5.water spout minimally splats water every direction. 6.dashboard bottom falls off often. 7.ice maker is LOUD. 8.ICE MAKER MAKES little ice. 9.when using water spout, the pump is scary loud. 10.The closing doors in 2 middle drawers are faulty. Sometimes they don't close or one is faster than OTHER. The thing about this fridge is that for it's cost in frustration and value, don't let the size fool you because it ain't worth it. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

The KitchenAid 5-Door Refrigerator is a huge disappointment. The freezer won't freeze ice cream and the ice maker won't make ice. When it does make ice, it's designed to produce 6 cubes every 2 hours. So, if you like soft ice cream and few if any ice cubes, and if you want to know your service reps on a first name basis (shout out to Glenn and Pat), this is the fridge for you. I've been a loyal Whirlpool customer for decades but this will be our last Whirlpool product.

Right on the money. You didn't mention the terrible water spout that spurs bits of water everywhere.l and the noisy water pump and engine. Also slow middle cabinet that close like a bitch crawling for help.

Horrible!! I have owned this fridge for 3 years- you can hear “working” to keep it cool. The water filtration system is very sensitive . And now it no longer works.
