I didn't plan on making another Ultimate Cut boss mod this early form the last one. But I have thought of making boss fight of different character with there own unique and appropriate moveset for a long while now. With some knowledge of making Sora animation compatible with Xion. the floodgate has open and I can customize boss attack animations now.
Now. I'm focusing on animation changes for this MOD, so patterns wise, not much is changed from Data Xion. No randomize pattern for example. But I'm making Sora's attack really tricky to deal with, so it's definitely harder than normal Data Xion.

I certainly want to implement Formchange & other stuff into this boss mod, but I have to work with limitation of Xion boss fight who don't have that much attack and animations to work with.

my biggest suggestion is for the animations to be considered separate from playable sora so mods that change the playable character can still be used, I've had a blast using other mods against your bosses but this one results in t-posing sora shooting light pillars at me lmao

It was seperate animation file though. This mod only change Xion's animation files. Do your mod do something with Xion or Data Xion file?

Two amazing aditions that would make this fight even more awesome is that when around 70 o 60 percent of his HP has been depleted he activates Ultimate or double form and when it goes below 25% he uses Rage form

What if instead of just having Ultimate/Double Form he uses the three keyblades the player uses, switching between then randomly each time he uses a formchange finisher.

@@AlexxxMYLSince2013 I would not say so. After all the key hurdle is the game being able to affect the boss based on the player's inventory, but we already have that with Yozora and the Kupo Coins. All that's needed is for the game to check Sora's keyblade inventory instead and have that unlock the relevant parts of the boss' moveset, leaving the unequipped keyblades locked by default. Since Sora can't change his inventory mid-fight it wouldn't even need to waste time rechecking each time the AI was due to swap keyblades.

"Get re-completed. Idiot." - Boss Sora, 2023 I can definitely see you working with what the game is allowing you to do here. I think you did pretty well, but I almost wanna say that maybe you lightened up a little too much difficulty wise. This doesn't look as hard as the other bosses you've done, but that might just be a me thing because Xion's one of the bosses I enjoy fighting the most. Either way, amazing work as always. Can't wait to see what you cook up next.

@@TheKpa11 When you fight her in 358, in the first phase she uses sonic blade, in the second she uses Ragnarok, and in the third she uses ars arcanum. The only one from KH I she doesn't use it's the throw.

In addition to having all of Sora’s KH1 limits (she uses strike raid in a cutscene to send Riku oblivion) she had Sora’s 3-hit combos, vortex, hurricane, slap shot, blitz, zantetsuken, and in her final form when she starts dual wielding she is straight up using Sora’s valor form combo, trinity limit, gravity, and his version of holy. She can also cast healing spells with a supped leaf bracer once the spell goes off and if you hit her while she is trying to heal it cancels out her heal like it does to Sora without leaf bracer. Her movement she also does Sora’s awkward KH1 short hops, her ars arcanum is also a reverse or Sora’s where he does a flurry then ends in several slow blows she does several slow blows and ends I a flurry.

Your boss mods really are truly beyond exceptional, maybe even the most fun I've ever had in KH3. I'm not sure when or even if you'll ever get around to it, but I'm extremely excited to see what you have in mind for the remaining data fights, especially Ansem and Repliku. But what you've made with the ReCompiled and Ultimate bosses already is peak KH. You're a real gem of the community, and it's always exciting to see you put out content.

It's a good start, though I do worry that it'll be impossible to get rid of the artificial aspects of the super-bosses of KH3, at least while using them as a basis. I mean that even in the best case Sora will still be teleporting around like crazy even though that doesn't match Sora's playable style at all, kinda like how Boss Aqua is.

Xion in 358/2 Days is what they do. All her moves are ripped straight from Sora from her special attacks to her melee combos to her movement it’s a combination of his stuff from KH1, CoM, and KH2. Even the visuals her first form is KH1 Sora and her second is KH2 Sora. She even uses keyblades with different lengths/swing speeds and each form it’s like she is equipping different combo modifiers. Her color choice is even very Sora based, white, yellow, black, a tich of blue, and then as a nice nod they give her a reddish pink that is about halfway between Sora’s iconic Red and Kairi bright pink.

That's not even close that's just Ventus's dark broken armor trying to stop you from saving Sora (the armor is fighting and not Sora) he does literally no attacks that even look remotely to Sora's. People want a real Sora fight...

I'm not saying Sora shouldn't use Light magic, but I feel the Fire-Blizzard-Thunder spells are integral to his identity, so this feels like a little bit of a whiff and conceptually monotone. Dare I say not ambitious enough.

Xion only have one specfic magic attack, I can't add anymore. At best I can swap it with Thunder, but that's the best I could do.

Winning, but losing in cutscenes are things like with Vanitas and Xehanort or against heartless tornado things, or say finishing a big fight against various enemies, but then getting pushed back by main baddies and such
