Oh right. This is the AU where Sans kinda goes through a kind of Steins Gate scenario. A particular difference that makes this one unique is that in this AU is that not only is Alphys straight but it also ships her and Sans together instead of Undyne. Another break is that Sans isn’t actually lazy this time around but overworked on a secret project. Though this is also set some time before Frisk fell. So anything that happens up to that point is basically the hole this AU tries to fill as well as Sans and Papyrus’s background. It went on Hiatus unfortunately the last time I checked. I hope the author continues it eventually.

Actually in some phone call dialogue with Undyne after one of the many neutral routes, she tells us that Alphys was extremely saddened by the death of Asgore, and was contemplating ending her life (or atleast was forceshadowed to by Undyne). Also if you choose Asgore in Mettaton's questionnaire in his first battle, he reveals that Alphys does/did have a huge crush on him, which makes her blush as hard as she did if you selected Undyne. These points are small, but it seems to suggest Alphys is atleast bi in the main game, being both into dude monsters like Asgore, and girl monsters like Undyne.
