What do you guys think of these mods? I wanted to try to mix it up a bit so I have a little of everything on this list. I have more mods planned to be going on during the winter months here in PA so stay tuned!
hello, just got a 2017 Stingray, and want to do some things, I am going to get new tires ect. what do you recommend for size on a stingray, I was hoping to go a little wider on the rear any suggestion ? I do not want to have to modify the wheel well. Thank you, your vette is beautiful nice video.
Like the video and sharp car! One thing though... “throwing mods on a car that don’t do anything but look good, or look bad, is stupid... but 5 minutes ago I was bragging about my marker tint really bringing the car together.” My biggest peeve in the car community is that people are too eager to judge other people’s cars. You don’t lift yourself by putting others down, and you definitely don’t make their car payment. What is attractive and classy in your eyes on your car is exactly that, yours. Just my $0.02 worth of good will towards fellow man.

Getting a chance to go through some videos I've not seen. Also since I've finally gotten my Corvette I'm looking for some ideas. I purchased the Sandy Eggo shelf back in May of last year in anticipation for the vette as well as the side markers. Car looks sooo good with those blacked out markers. Soon I'll be adding on my rock guards once the Xpel has been completed. Great video brother! Can't wait for Spring to be upon us!
@@HorsePowerObsessed 😂 as far as it sitting pretty behind the infotainment screen..yes! hahah. But I think it's nice to not have to put stuff on top of one another in there. As for now..I'm keep the exhaust stock. Definitely the loudest stock exhaust I've ever heard.....however...only time will tell.
I also just received my pro clip cell phone mount that attaches to the "oh shit bar". I haven't put it on but seen it before and it looks pretty sweet.

Beautiful car love all the mods. I have a 17 GS . I put on a carbon fiber front splitter CF side skirts and getting cf stage 2 rear spoiler . Not crazy about the cheap plastic they call front fender flares thinking about replacing those were carbon fiber ones.
Thank you! That's the next mod on my list as well. The fender "spats" are getting replaced with carbon flash painted ones to match my side skirts. They really don't fit the look of this car.
just recently bought a 2016 ZO6 with the ZO7 package.same color as yours. It only had 1800 miles. i enjoy watching your videos and also have learned quite a bit. Living in NJ i saw one of your videos and I purchased the same tires that you currently run. Thanks for that great advice. I just ordered the AFE cold air intake. My question is what made you choose the borla x pipes over any other exhaust.
That sounds like a great car! 😉 I went with the borla because it was cheaper, lighter weight, had a little bit better performance, and I liked the way it sounded better. Being as close as you are you're more than welcome to come down and listen to the car someday if you want to try to hear the difference in person! 👍
Love the video. I'm still looking for a Red c7 z06 like yours. They are harder to come by than i thought. Your modifications are so tasteful. I absolutely love the car.

I have checked every now and then and haven't found the exact car again so I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this one when I did! The Borla Xpipe is my favorite on mine by far. Living in AZ I have a lot of opportunities to go wide open throttle, and to hear the roar and the pops on gear changes is addicting! I like the diffuser fins. I almost forgot. The 3M paint protection film I have on the main areas in the front has been a good addition. I can see where it has taken a few hits and any nicks are on the film only. The Range technology plugged into the OBD port prevents my car from going into V4 mode. That has worked out very well for me. My next one is going to be a torch red like yours. You can't beat it in my opinion, although I have enjoyed the Long Beach Red. Too hard to keep clean. Slowing down on my mods for now. I smell a C8, or a Z06 in my future.
Nice video but I disagree about the side skirts...my Z06 has the painted body parts option and I did not want the black side skirts (mine has Aero package 1) to breakup what I think looks very elegant with the all white hood and white side vents...granted most Z06 owners want the more aggressive aero 2 or 3 but I was after elegance not Boy Racer. As for the other options, I agree a cat delete xpipe would be efficient and the rear diffuser does look better but having owned a few high end sports cars I have learned my lesson and am keeping this one OEM.
Awesome videos Justin!! My first corvette was 93 LT1....arctic white exterior and torch red interior. I just purchased a Z06 very similar to yours but with the black rear mirrors. I am picking it up Saturday!! That is if the weather cooperates since I live in Kennett Square, a superb of Philadelphia. I know what the PA weather is like since I recently moved from the Poconos. Where in PA do you live?
Love your video. I have a 2016 stingray which I recently did a few mods to - mostly appearance; however, Borla X pipes - OK for my stingray? and what would the part no. be? Your car sounds like my 07 shelby gt500 which I did several mods to including MAC exhaust. I like the front overhand (cunards?) ACS for a lot of your stuff?
I have almost every part ACS offers on my Vette and I love their quality. Unfortunately, Borla and all exhaust companies have been forced to stop making X-pipes here in the states so I'm not sure if you'll be able to find them anymore.
I do have xpel and ceramic coating on my current black ZR1 but I never had any done to my Z06. I would definitely recommend xpel for the wide body cars because of all the chips that you'll get in the rear.
Appreciate the Vlog. May I suggest either a clear bra for protection on the front of the vehicle along with ceramic coating which has been a bonus when it comes to cleaning the vehicle. Blue skies, Jg
Car looks great. Just picked up a 16 z06 with z07 package. I will most likely do all of the mods you mentioned. Curious, why not the corsa x pipe. From what I hear it sounds better than the borla.
They are beautiful cars! I went with the borla for a few reasons. In person I like the way it sounded better, it's cheaper, it's lighter, and it produces slightly more power.

I actually changed the black rev match paddles to red just like you. I made a video but just haven't posted it yet. When you get a chance take a look at my channel so you can see my car too. A borla wont buy you much guys. You need to go big or go home. get rid of the 1.7 for a maggy which is PnP. If you really want power do the low fuel for E85 and Cam it and do headers/heads etc (see below) . my car is running 1700 rpm at 90 mph. truly nuts
Just wondering about what PennDOT regs are on window tinting and whether you get pulled over much, or are you in compliance. Don't worry, even under threat of torture, I won't tell. But I do have a low pain threshold. LOL Save the Wave.
lol PennDOT's official stance on window tint is pretty much ANY tint is "illegal" but with that being said, I've always had tint on my vehicles and *knock on wood* I have not ever been pulled over for it. There are a lot of people in this area that tint their cars even darker than I have so it's one of those semi unenforced rules. Now if you are caught breaking 100 other rules odds are good they'll throw that on the list as well.
Thank you! I am planning an 18% overdrive pulley for the supercharger, possibly long tube headers, an air intake, and a tune. Depending on how much room is left I may look into an E85 sensor.
I am planning a trip to the dyno hopefully this weekend. it will kind of give me an idea of what the little bit of performance mods I have now have added and also give me a baseline for whenever I change over to all the other stuff I just listed
Canards are wack looking and severely slow the car down north of 90 mph. If you don't track it then not an issue. But between the stage 3 spoiler and those canards you really kill the speed and quarter mile time.
Great video but will people stop saying secondary cats.. They are resonators, not cats. If they were cats (whether monitor or not) and you tampered with them that is illegal and GM can void your powertrain warranty. But, they are resonators which only has one job, is to resonate and muffle the sound.
Everything I've ever seen refers to them as secondary cats. Companies won't even ship the xpipes to California due to their regulations of "cleaner air" so they must be doing something more than muffling sound.
No, the main cats of the car are still there. There are no check engine lights and since the main cats are still there it passes visual inspection without issue.

if anyone in this community has a set of side skirt rockers for sale for a c7 z06 let me know? i have this car and im the second owner. previous owner didnt order them from factory and it is starting to bother me after the second season of driving it. yes i know there are places online to buy them but it does freak me out a bit buying without knowing the fitment from after market resources.
6:38 "Throwing mods on a car that don't do anything other than look good is just stupid". Right after you tell us one of your top five mods is a tinted marker light that doesn't do anything except look good. Maybe you should have thought about that for a second before you said it?
I traded a mildly modded 16 Challenger RT Shaker for an 18 C7 Stingray. Stingray blows the Challenger away. The only thing I miss on the Challenger is the interior space. But with the roof, on a hot summer day, I forget all about the Challenger.
