Nell Tiger, fantastic interview. Haven't seen her in anything, yet, but am now a fan. Jake, excellent job as always! Really good intellectual chemistry here. I guess I have to check out The First Omen now, which I totally wasn't going to do before.
I don't understand why people are giving this film bad reviews. I just got out from this movie and it was outstanding amazing acting such a fresh breath of air in 2024 considering all the bad horror movie line ups this year.
Interesting, based on this interview it sounds like Margaret really is an original character (that is unless she turns into a jackal), was hoping for a twist that she'd turn out to be a young Mrs Baylock... shame, Nell totally looks like a young Billie Whitelaw.
To the interviewer. That story about Damien smiling is complete bullsh@7. Ive sat and had beers with Harvey Stephens/Damien. Ive met David Warner RIP, several times, and spoke with him at length about the filming of The Omen. I concluded, that as much as I loved Richard Donner RIP, he did fabricate some tales about the production of The Omen.
I enjoyed the movie which I saw today. Great performances, music, cinematography, production design and the captured essence of the 1970s However, they've changed the birth origin of Damien being born of a Jackal. Also the Father Brennan character has been so drastically changed. Hes no longer a former Apostate involved with the diabolical plot to bring the Anti Christ into the world. These two points don't align this movie correctly to The Omen. They need to stop blowing their own trumpets over these ridiculous changes. It's damaging to the narrative of the original movie.
