Ariados is the worst pokemon ever, change my mind

Alternative title: Pointcrow casually stealling children from their parents to enslave them for 17 min straight.

The fact the Ariados was always ON SIGHT had me crying the entire time

The fact that it's based on an alternative outcome of the first pokemon movie is my favorite bit. The moment that dialogue started, I knew exactly who you found and that appearance was amazing.

the lore is about the ariados and his family, mewtwo is just a side quest

I just want to say real quick, my cat is obsessed with PointCrow, and legit comes running anytime he hears Eric's voice.

I believe there was an "open world" pokemon fangame before this. It's called pokemon "crystal clear." It's not randomly generated though. It's pokemon crystal, but you can start wherever you want, customize your character, buy and decorate houses, beat the gyms in any order you want, pokemon follow you around, and a bunch of other stuff.

It's sad he left out the part where he finds Mewtwo, is in awe, and then immediately oneshots it by accident.

The game is still being worked on as well! Every pokemon is planned to be added, multiplayer is coming, and a bunch of new features are planned

This and PokeMMO are the two best fanmade pokemon games hands down. If you don't know of PokeMMO. Well.. have fun out there.

This game goes hard. I also love how even bad Pokémon have some utility.

I love how in order to make your youtube edits, you take a mixture of funniest moments & also the plot of the playthrough - or like, the "plot points" of it. Things that just stood out amongst the rest. But at the same time, I love the full Vods/streams bc on more soothing games (like elden rings) I can fall asleep watching it, but on games like this where I'm super hyperfixed on it the whole time I just keep smiling. Plus the TTS & random change RNGs really make it hilarious to watch, and you get so much more humorous content than the edited vids. Definitely 100% love watching both just to see how you make that whole playthrough come together in a story of your own for videos, but the vods/stream are definitely OG in my heart for the mountains of amazing content. Keep up the good work!! >:3

I like this idea, just a big open world where you can find eggs and explore and battle and catch tons of new things, basically Pokémon but without being forced to go through the story.

The Ariados chases were an amazing running gag!

A few hints for everyone to have a smoother (early) game: 1: Most pkmn are happier if you drop them within 3 tiles of their preferred location. Bugs/Flying want areas with flowers and berry trees like at 9:05; Point did that correct. Most shore pkmn want beach tiles that get flooded, not the dry ones and water tiles. Ghosts want graveyards. You can create artificial enviroment by using DIG in other biomes and carrying those materials to your home and use DIG again there to change tiles. If you have nothing at all, create campfires near your shelter within your fenced area, this will raise happyness as well 2: Absol is friendly and highly sought after for having both CUT and RIDE, find it at graveyards, later on you can ditch it for a mon with FLY since the mountain areas with all their ledges are _a _*_MAYOR_*_ pain in the arse!_ Even later you should have several beacons strewn over the entire map. Use TELEPORT to access them quickly 3: If you wander too far into deep wood biomes ghosts will spawn (Like the one you had to identify in Lavender Town). Have either a fire/electric type with you which iluminates round you, or outrun it until day/open menu and wait for day, to make it let go off of you 4: If you see a rather large amount of cacti in the desert biome: _STAY AWAY_ if it is about to become night and do not try to directly cross through them. I won't spoil it here but they spawn and despawn exactly with sunset and dawn... 5: The Bed heals faster and cures status, but another way before it is to let your pkmn faint and then sleep in your sleeping bag. Also: heal up within your shelter, it is slightly faster than if you heal outside 6: Move towards a savannah or deep woods asap; Cutting trees and grass in savannah is worth 4, deep wood trees also gives 4 log. Remember to have your cutting pkmn be its final evolution stage to take down those large trees. Take either Jumpluff or Absol for this since both are easy to recruit early 7: Ralts can be found in deep forest biomes during daytime ;) 8: Annoyed by having those jump-ledges everywhere? DIG them away and get stones in return, just fill the holes back in with other material 9: In case you get stuck on and within multiple ledges while an agressive pkmn literally blocks your only way out: Use your ESCAPE ROPE to flee 10: Stick torches onto your interior walls (only place to put them) if you want to build on graveyard soil, lest you wanna star in a reoccuring nightly horror movie...

You need to do a walk through series on this game 🙏... This is my first time watching one of your videos, and I'm already invested

Its amazing seeing how much goes into fan games like this. I've played since RBY and this is the kind of game I dreamed pokemon might become in the future. It's kind of sad how uninspired the mainline games made by a billion dollar IP seem compared to passion projects made by fans.
