Dustin: Nothing was handed to you. What you have accomplished thus far has been hard work you poured into it. Yes, your family, friends, and others have contributed to your journey. But, the core of what you have done and are doing comes from you. You're telling a story, a story that we not only get to hear but see. Also, it's without saying, DA has been enhanced by adding Emmy to the story. The two of you make DA worth watching every week. Thank you for sharing.
I agree wholeheartedly! I just discovered this channel a few weeks ago and have been binge watching the episodes, especially the Canada and Northern videos, and it's so nice when Emi joins you on the adventure! Such great content!!
Without you Dustin we may never have experienced the beauty and serenity of this great place called Canada and its people and landscape no one really gets to see. If it wasn't for you none of this would be possible and for that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts
Dustin, my wife and I live in Florida. We are senior citizens. We would never get to see such beautiful country up north if it wasn't for you and your channel. Keep up the fantastic job you do. Many thanks
This has been an amazing series getting to that point, and I am guessing having Emi along with you has to be a true highlight. You can always enjoy the traveling, but to share your adventure with someone by your side and seeing the new things through their eyes would be very special. Thank you both so much for sharing your time with so many of us that are not capable to do what you are doing.
Hi Dustin, that closing 2 mins is the reason I started watching so many years ago. Your humility makes for compelling viewing. Your ability to connect with locals and treat them with dignity is what connects us all with you, the storyteller. You've created this channel, this community, and we've all been fortunate enough to see you grow into a great young man. Take pride in what you've achieved. Take pride in your family. And yes, many aren't as fortunate, but you deserve this. Thank you, from New Zealand.
Each week after each episode I find my self saying "best video ever" ... yet along comes the next week and the next video and you uploading yet again, another "best video ever". This one tops it though. Your ability to reflect and have gratitude for the journey and all it has entailed and all those that have helped along the way is humbling and heart warming. Dustin, you are a true gem of a human. Your experiences have allowed you to experience alot of things many won't have the opportunity to; through your hard work, perseverance, determination and dedication. And I can only speak for myself, but it is very clear that there are so many people out there who appreciate all you bring to this channel each week. So ... thank YOU for continuing to show us what is out there and allowing us to join you in your adventures. I hope Emmy is enjoying her Canadian experience this summer as well :)
When the race is near its end, you can hoist your flag and sails and lift your cup to success. This is the best thing on the internet to see. Your modesty and dedication to your craft is just a part of what we viewers like about you. The mad skills you have tip the scales and drive the needle into the awesome range. Keep up the great work !
Dustin, it has been a joy and privilege to accompany you on your journeys. The cinematography in this episode was exceptional, it's always outstanding, but this episode has raised the bar. Watching you grow and expand your horizons on the way to destiny has provided me with a renewed sense of hope and wonder and for this, I thank you. I absolutely love being along for the ride.
I don't know if you really read all of the posts. But here it goes, you Dustin have breathed life back into my bones, you are an inspiration to me. Your adventures give me hope for another day. I am a disabled veteran of the US Army. You , through your videos gave me the strength to tackle the Appalachian trail here in the US. I have hiked all 2614 miles of it. Something my doctors said was not possible for me. There was no way my legs could hold up. Through many tears, cries, and pain I did it. I contribute of lot of my success to you, your videos gave me the drive to push myself to do , what everyone told me , could not done. Thank you for you. I have no family to share with, but as I watch your adventures I feel a sense of belonging. Thank you. David R.
I try to read them all, but sometimes it’s not possible. I am happy I had the chance to read this one though. Congratulations on your through hike, that is a huge accomplishment. I am honoured to have been able to even give a nudge.
I'm kind of in the same boat my friend. 3 time cancer Survivor, the chemo has taken its toll on me deteriorating my joints. 10 surgeries in 3 years so I could go galivanting and pulling shenanigans in the coolest environments I could survive in. I'm just like the rest of you... I'm definitely not done telling my stories!!! I'm an addicted out of control ROCK 🪨 HOUNDER. We Got This... use your IMAGINATION and make it happen CAPTAIN!!! ❤❤❤
Just FYI your adventures have saved my mental health for the past year. My wife and I were asked to step in and foster her great neice, we literally have been shackled to our state for the past 18mo. Thanks so much for what you do. I really appreciate your craft.
Dustin, this one brought tears of joy for you to my eyes, starting with the lingering shot of your hand on the Arctic Ocean sign. I'm so very happy for you to have achieved this dream and I'm extremely happy that you chose to bring us along for the ride. Congratulations.
I’m too old to ever realize my dream of travel so thank you for taking me with you on your trips. The beauty you capture often makes me cry with joy and longing to see it in person.
Dustin hi from Calgary. Congrats on completing the Dempster, reaching Tuk and the Arctic Ocean no small accomplishment on its own. As huge as those are please accept my acknowledgement of what you have grown Destination Adventure into. Its taken a lot of internal fortitude, sweat, blood and pure ingenuity to pivot from the Cruise Ship world to developing Destination Adventure. I've been fortunate to have enjoyed your channel from its inception to today. Amazing to think as beautiful as the drive north has been its just one of many great adventures you've taken us on. My Saturdays and Wednesdays wouldn't be complete without Destination Adventure and Workshop Wednesdays. My sincere appreciation for all the talent and effort you invest in your channel for our enjoyment. Thanks and looking forward to many more.
Thank you Dustin and Emmie for taking us with you. That was incredible! I'm so proud to support your channel and yes, I lived watching you grow up and shine so bright.
I'm sure your Dad is proud of you, You are the part that helps hold Canada together and never forget that! He passed the baton and the truck to you! He could have built a flying Train if he wanted to. You just about had me crying so beautiful up there, wow!
That image with the horses in the low hanging sun and the mountains in the background looming in the shadow is indeed more than spectacular, it's eye-watering beautiful! 🥲 I'm very grateful that you capture these scenes and share them with the world.
As a 44-year-old teacher and family man, I need you to know how much I appreciate you and your channel, Dustin. I've recently started sharing your adventures with my oldest daughter (6) and we watch while I pause a hundred times to answer her questions and explain things. Your style in front of the camera is so genuine, positive, and determined. Love your channel. I hope you get to do this for as long as you love it.
It is an extreme privilege to be able to watch the adventures you share with us, the Destination Adventure viewers. I have been watching the channel for around three years, and it has become the highlight of my Saturday mornings. Thank you for what you do.
Excellent video my friend. I did the Dempster 3 times all the way up to Tuktoyaktuk. I did the same road up to the radio towers but didn’t have a problem turning around as I was on my motorcycle. What month did you film this?
I knew you would be blown away by the Dempster! It changed me as a human being for sure. One thing not so clear is that Tombstone isn't that far from Dawson City so even if one is not prepared or willing to go all the way you could do a day trip to Tombstone that would be quite worthwhile.
I can only speak for myself, but from the beginning of your channel I've noticed your great appreciation for the world you travel through and the people you encounter on the way. You radiate so much positive energy, and that combined with video that is far more extraordinary than what you'd expect to find on RU-vid. (this week was a cut above). Additionally, the fact that you're a bit of a crazy Canadian (I mean that as a compliment) goes a long way in being a good story teller. I look forward to the next installment. You and Emmy be safe.
Ok Dustin, we have got to have a sit down chat with Emi. What is her story, what are her thoughts of the trip, the remote places you go, does she relish in desolation, what fascinates her, is she comfortable in the conditions. So many questions
As a fellow Canadian we are very fortunate to have this beautiful untouched country that not many get to see. I feel proud it’s ours to share to the world. Thanks for the great videos deeply enjoy. Keep up the great work ❤
Following your channel for 8 years, has been a heck of an adventure. from the Old Russian Island to Tuktoyaktuk, and where ever else you may roam, as long as I live, I'll always follow your channel Dustin. Some of the places you have been to, I also had been to in my youth, others are a new adventure that now I can only visit through you, and that makes following your channel so very much worth it, in itself. So I am very thankful for you, to go to these places, and bring us along for the ride.
@@Destination_Adventure With my disability getting worse every year, I can only go to the places you go to through the lens of your camera, and for that I am thankful of. You're an awesome story teller Dustin.
Dustin. This is the content that I'll watch and rewatch for a lifetime. I'll start from the halfton days when my kids grow up, and watch you all over again with my kids. Then hopefully again with my grandkids. You're building a legacy. Thank you. Again and again. I'll be riding the Dempster next year. Thanks for scouting for us all. Mitch
You give everyone the opportunity to see the beautiful sights we could otherwise not have the chance to see. The big city tourist things aren't the important things. The human side of life is what's important and meaningful. That's what you give us. Thank you and Emmi so much for sharing this adventure with us.
A kid from Williams Lake. I know you only through these videos you've been creating but for some reason I'm very proud of you, fellow British Columbian. Thank you, Dustin.
Hi Dustin. Everything I would like to say, has already been said. Your wonderful Videos make this 82 year old Lady, very happy My husband and I have traveled extensively around our Country, Australia, and our traveling days are over, but we greatly enjoy being with YOU and Emmi on your travels. Many thanks for taking us along. You are a very nice, caring young Man, and your Dad must be very proud of you.
You two just affirmed that the words HEART and EARTH are comprised of the same letters for good reason ~ Spectacular!!! Dustin; It is not selfish to count your Blessings. It is a positive message and an Inspiration to your fellow man ~ Much Love...
Thank you Dustin for taking me/us to "Destinations" that I'll never be able to see and visit on my own!! Sap away!!! You are awesome, thoughtful, and genuine. Best wishes and safe travels to you and Emmy!! Keep on . . . . keeping on!!
thank you so much for helping an old adventurer relive his wandering ways , favorite motto - your never so alive right before you die , live large my friends , stories to pass down to the next generation around a campfire - priceless ! side note - could you tell us more about emmy your travel partner / an interview , she seems shy but it'll be fine lol !
Dustin and Emmy, I just have to say WOW! Your videos and editing and music just keep blowing me away, every time I watch your newest post. To sit at the shore of the Arctic Ocean and reflect like you did is fantastic and really shows me your appreciation and thankfulness to everyone in your life including us. Your viewers. I want to say thanks to you both for exploring and sharing with us.
Destination Adventure never disappoints! Dustin you are living and creating visions and views that dreams and movies are made of. Much happiness and continued adventures to you and Emmie from South Carolina!
Man, someone cutting onions in here? Can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning, thank YOU for giving us a place to come every saturday to see parts of this beautiful country some of us may never see. Another beer coming your way on patreon soon.
Thank you again and again for bringing us with you and Emmi, dont feel bad about letting us know more about you, its just another reason why we love your channel!!
You are the only channel who can jerk tears from me every Saturday morning son, 😮 This was a crazy beauty of a trip to the Arctic Circle, that alone brought tears of beautiful things. Listening to you describe how you feel about us , your viewers….. I did and I do watch you grow , I have watched you grow and I’m gonna continue to watch you grow. You’re an amazing young man and may your future continue more amazing. I love my Saturday mornings with you Dustin , May these Saturdays continue forever. Sending much love for you and Emmie….See you next Saturday.❤
Your rig is better than that million dollar rig, you built it, spent time with your pop that rig is absolutely priceless. Your life is what you have made it everyone watches you because of your genuineness and spectacular ability to give us beauty and adventure. Thank you
Dustin, I have been following your adventures for several years. Im in the UK and feel that I have 'seen' BC++ with you. I have to say that your production is excellent. This northern trek to the Artic circle is beyond epic and this current trip through to Tuktoyaktuk is phenomenal. Even better than the inspiring trip last week to the Asbestos mine (loved the old and new video overlay). I do not normally write comments, but your production, truck build, adventures truly deserve a thank you from the UK. Just to let you know we all feel part of your journey !!! Your family must be proud. Rob
Dustin, thank you! Even though we have never met in person, I'm honored to call you a friend. What you do has opened up a whole new world for my wife and I, and the gift of your talent is simply stunning. So glad that I came across the channel and have been able to go with you on your journey. That being said, what an amazing trip through some beautiful country this week and finally making it to the Arctic Ocean. Enjoy every minute because it's special, and it's cool that you have a good friend with you. Keep up the good work my friend!
No accomplishment can compare to a journey that brings you closer to your family. I know I'll never get that far north but we were with you in spirit because after watching this video my son and I went up to our wall map in the garage and put our hands on the Arctic Sea together.
Dustin thank you for sharing your thoughts and adventures. I try not to miss my Saturday morning adventures. You have come a long way and Dustin you have the right to brag. Congratulations and I look forward to many more adventures with you and Emi. You are truly amazing in what you do taking it to the next level every episode.
The synchronicity is off the charts today and I'm loving it . Headed to a celebration of life today of a dear friend who grew up in Inuvik . He spoke very highly and very frequently about it . Sitting here with a coffee enjoying the goosebumps pal . Thanks , this video carries a level of emotion that is welcomed . Be well .
Of all the things i admire about you, it is your respect and love for your Father i admire the most. Thanks so much for taking us along for the ride. Happy trails.
Dustin and Emi: it’s been an honor to ride along with you on this adventure. Your perseverance and living out your dreams and aspirations along this trip is what brings me back to watch every episode you upload. Your sense of humor, creativity and your humbleness is refreshing and far exceeds any other RU-vidr out there. Can’t wait to see what you discover on your return trip!
SPECTACULAR!! In 2016 when we were north, we turned on to the Dempster Hwy., but only got as far as the sign, then sadly, had to turn around and head south 😢. How talented you are…your photography and story continue to be excellent. Love every Saturday morning! Thank you!
Dustin , this by far is ultimate destination! Thank you for taking us along once again and put another to go to place on our bucket list , I just hope my old 97 diesel rattler will hold up such as yours did lol ! Please take care guys and safe journeys as always👍🇨🇦
This trip was one of your best adventures yet,Dustin&Emi! It should be added to the top of the list, not just ,"the crossed off list!" Congratulations on reaching the top of the world and taking us along with you! Your wonderful "derring do" spirit is an inspiration to us "old farts!" Love your channel!😊 Cheers,Sandy&Andy
Amazing. I drove to Inuvik, from the Lower Mainland, a few years ago. I found the best time to go is late August because the gravel road is smoother and the fall colors are emerging. Seeing your videos makes me want to go again.
Nice to see the drone repaired and working nicely. Louie went up to Tuk after fishing with you. She put on a bikini and went in the water in a cloud of mosquitoes ! 🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟 Then her Jeep's engine blew up. Thanks to you and Emi for sharing your adventures again Dustin. Oh we ordered some of that Atlin Whiskey Coffee. Interesting. Live Long And Prosper Buddy . 👊😎👍
In a time when many Canadians are sickened by our elected leadership on so many levels, this channel highlights the beauty of Canada and helps us to still have pride in the land and her people.
A man admitting he keeps breaking the lights on his trailer! ❤ My first trip with you thanks to RU-vid algorithm, but I'll be joining the binge watchers and visiting on Saturdays. Crystal in Edmonton, Alberta, 🇨🇦.
Your ability over the years to make videos has become something to watch in itself. Editing is perfect. No nothing about it just feels right thank you so much for taking me with you on your adventures
Dustin, you never disappoint. Very much appreciate the effort you put into the channel. Talking about your family just adds another dimension that I’m sure others can relate to. As always, I look forward to all the adventures.
It's funny to me, but as much as I look forward to the beautiful drone shots, the landscapes, the wildlife and the commentary, I always look for the crooked solar panel on the top of the rig. It brings me happiness as much as anything else on this channel.
Thank you for sharing these adventures with us. Don’t get too hung up on the huge adventures, I just love when you spend some time and episodes in a single place. I love getting to know a place and its people.
Thank you for a glorious summer vacation with you! Every Saturday morning has been an amazing experience for all of us! Cheers Dustin! May you continue to prosper in your dreams!
I rarely comment on your videos Dustin because somehow words just seem so incapable of describing the enjoyment I get from watching and utter beauty of what you capture. So here is a simple plain heart felt thank you. So very well done👍
‘It’s not about the destination but the journey’. Fantastic channel and for once the algorithm got it right by suggestion this. I’ve enjoyed all of your adventures and look forward to more
Hello, Dustin. Your videos are stunning. I can't wait for you to upload a new one. I can only recommend adding footage from the camping itself. Setting up the camp, cooking and relaxing after a long day of exploration and discovery. Overlanders do just that (drive and shoot camping) and it's still super interesting. Good luck and thank you again for the amazing content you create. Greetings from distant Bulgaria😃
Just another fantastic video Mr. NG. You and Emi are doing a great job. Thanks so much for taking us along. Happy trails and keep up the great work. Stay safe and can't wait for the next. 👍👍👍👍👍
Beautifully done Dusty! I have been watching your progress on the channel for several years as we built our own version of the Dodge classics. I thought we might meet up this summer but fates brought me back to Alaska sooner then I hoped. Now I've had the pleasure of seeing the trip that I've been building towards through your well honed eyes. Looking forward to seeing what else you get up too. Safe travels!
Hey Dustin, this video was awesome. You brought tears to my eyes on the closing of the video. So happy that you have someone to journey with. Please keep the wonderful videos coming and stay safe. God bless the both of you.
