It is time for a brand new series (yet again) this time involving the great Mario and Luigi series that I never played when I was younger, that's Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga to be precise.

"This is a basic jump" and proceeds to miss many times...classic Sophist underestimating. So Stache gives you better chances at getting a Lucky or Critical hit in battle, doubling the damage of your attacks. In Superstar Saga, it gives discounts to items bought at shops (down to half their usual price), and lets you sell items at higher prices!

I love how Sophist tells us to comment whether what he's doing in this video is bad or not, while already recording him going ahead with the game and his poor choices. It's like watching a man in the distance run at Mach 5 towards a cliff and you see a paper beside you that says "warn me if there's a dangerous cliff ahead!"

Glad I wasn’t the only one struggling badly with this game 😅 but I’ve got a lot better as it’s my first time Also for the bonuses: HP and Defence are pointless unless you get hit by literally everything, probably pick power most of the time it’s the most useful, BP is good if you use Bro attacks a lot, speed isn’t really needed but you’ll need enough for the final boss, stache is ok it just increases your chances of getting ‘lucky’ in your attacks but it only works on normal attacks

I'm with your editor. This. Hurt. So much. I was a dumb child that didn't read his games until like... a year or two after this game came into my possession, and I still managed to figure this game out and learn things fairly fast for spam skipping text on the first time playing it. Even better on playthrough two where I actually read things and di more than pump HP because I was bad at dodging a lot. lol

You know this game is amazing if you, Brent and Choc are all making video's on it at the same time. also some helpful advice, not even Little Timmy talk here. you don't even have to use the lower modes to practise the timing of the bros attacks, just use the rewind feature lol.

Stache: It decreases the amount of money you’ll spend at the shop, but it also increases your chances for a lucky (critical) hit.

Stache is kind of a luck factor stat: it increases the chances of getting a critical/lucky hit when hitting an enemy. It'll also put discounts in shops (at least in the first three games) when high enough. So yeah, perfect stat for TCNick3, amiright?

Not sure if you want it baby mode but you can easily create a save file before getting your bonus stat to guarantee get a 3 because if you don’t get a 3 you can just log back the save file :p

Allow thy to educate the Sophisticated! Stache: it increases the rates of when you get critical strikes. It also gives you benefits in the shop like discounts or extra coins when you sell.

Idea for mario party, and only you and Brent should know about this. You change your switch name to Brent, Brent changes his switch name to sophist. You play luigi, Brent plays wario. You and brent have to keep nick and vern from finding out that you two switched places And the cherry on top, you get your editor and thumbnail artist for Brent's video, and Brent does the same for you, but don't tell them. Also, if Brent did your sponsored segment, that'd also be hilarious

So uh, the more you put bonus points into the same stat in a row, the lower numbers you can roll. Since you kept putting stuff in stache, it was only giving you 1s or 2s, but if you switch it around you can get up to even 5
