I just bought it today, and first i thought it was an open world game but it is really different. but i like it the way it is, its really lovely to look at and to listen too. Its really a game you need to play if you played a horror game or first person shooter. this game will make you relax again! I love it
Okay. So I bought this game. I loved Journey, Abzu, Gris and Rime. So I thought I would love this one. This game had a great story, and I loved the voice acting. The graphics are unremarkable in some areas and stunning in others. But the main problem I had with it is lack of direction. Multiple times throughout my playthrough, I was confused about where to go and what the game wanted me to do. So I came away from the experience feeling conflicted. Overall, I am glad I played it as the message was very moving. It was just held down by its lack of polish in my opinion.
For those of you enquiring about the music, the soundtrack is now available on iTunes, Bandcamp and Spotify! Thanks for playing and supporting indie developers and musicians :)
So I’ve always loved these type of games and was really excited when I learned of The First Tree. The biggest problem I have with this game has to be that there are many times that you don’t know what to do What I think was part of the tutorial was this section where you had to collect 3 bunches of butterflies to boost your jump to help you jump up a cliff Simple enough, it was easy to get the butterflies but it turns out you can’t actually jump over the cliff head on like you would think, you instead have to awkwardly jump on the steep slope next to the cliff and spam jump till you got to the top It also made collecting the dirt patches feel like a chore because there was no good reward for it, there was just more narration
I loved this game so much. The only problem I had with it was with the voiceovers in regards to sound balance. The acting was good, but sometimes it's hard to understand what's being said without having the subtitles on the screen, so I just play with those.
The better Game comes early in 2019 and called "Lost Ember". The Mooneye Studio watching your Indi Videos and done a Checklist of any "Rand al Thor 19" like and brewed a Game for you. Keep it in mind early 2019.
@@symphony137 Yes, that Game is exclusive for Playstation. But the "Infuse Studios" never made a Game before and the studio size is 2 Person + 1 Sound Engineer. So far they just and only made Unreal 4 Engine Asset`s. For me it sounds like an empty world and walking simulator, not much gameplay elements. But i`ll try it out. The Mooneye Studios has 20 Developers and collect 40 "The Best Indi Game" Awards in the last of couple years. For more quality the Game Release moved two times back. Thanks i enjoy youre comment
@rand al-thor 19 Pertaining to these Indy and AA game reviews, can you post reviews for games you would actually buy and decrease the focus of titles whose free codes were provided by devs or publishers?
I mean... I get sent alot of codes for AA and indie games, and I really only play the ones that appeal to me. I post reviews for pretty much all the games I play... some I get codes for and some I pay for.
