Loved this video and also that you talked about Invasion day. As I'm from Europe I only know about it's history since a couple of years as well. It's really important to create awareness about these things because I probably wouldn't want to celebrate it "by accident" as well just because we don't know what it means :) I also love your hair, it suits you so well ☺️

If you are gonna be there for a few months maybe look for a package service that could send you and tom a big suitcase of clothes instead of spending more on things you already have ? Glad to see you guys enjoying life :)

haha this will sound as if I am a shill, but I did wonder whether HelloFresh delivered to Melbourne and wheter you would continue to use it! Congratulations! It seems so convenient, especially for people "on the go" as you and Tom are! I do believe that HelloFresh has contributed to your great improvement as a cook! Having moved to a new country with a revolutionary history (México) myself, I understand your trepidation regarding new holidays, especially those pertaining to the government rather than universal human values like Valentine's Day or Mother's Day. Worldwide, everyone thinks "Cinco de Mayo" is just an excuse to get drunk, as they do with St Patrick's Day in the USA/Canada, but the day is celebrated quite differently in México and also having attended my first "grito" - the ACTUAL celebration of the revolution that founded México, which was both a very somber and celebratory event in its own right (rite?), I've learned to observe rather than celebrate the holidays, at least for now.
