You make the videos on aquariums that makes perfect sense as compared to existing videos by others. I literally was amazed by listening to one of your videos where you said not to fight against algae, instead learn why it's there. Whereas all the other RU-vidrs would be talking about some phytocarb or other liquid to add to the fish tank to kill the algae. Although your channel is just blooming, this is going to be a master class channel for all aquarists who are either beginning or are already into the hobby. Please do add subtitles so that even the audience outside India will start subscribing. Adding to this video, the jumping out of fear happened to my Angel fish. I had turned off the lights in the evening and turned it on in a short while for some reason as the fishes were sleeping already. Out of fear, one fish swam so fast and jumped over 1 feet out of the water. Lucking he didn't hurt himself.

Hi Vipin, We have high amounts of photosynthesis happening in all the tanks, so the oxygen levels are fairly high and the fish are fine

Gr8 info. Never taught about the night night lights. Kept checking water parameters and found it safe for and good. Will do the night light today it’s self and get a timer to turn on the blue lights when the tank lights go off.

points to remember 1. instincts (fish's nature's insticts; araona; barbs thees have tendencies to jump) 2. bad water qualilty (poor water quality; imbalance in ammonia in water, poor filtrations) 3. level of oxygen in water (poor oxygen levels in water; careful if it's planted aquariums) fooding 4. fear/stress (make sure to balance stress/fear level for fish) 5. crowded tanks; poor combintation of fish ( large and small fish) 6. shadows (fish don't tend to like shadows) balance lighting in/near aquariums 7. fish tend to jump during nights; poor lightings

While I was out travelling my samurai plakat Betta jumped and later when my sister told me about his demise I was shook. Now I am very cautious and took an oath to regularly clean my tank and keep the water parameters suitable for the fish. Truly I am still mourning him. Never ever leave the lid of the aquarium open and keep the water below 3 inches to ensure that the betta fish does not jump.

One of my oldest fish jumped out of the tank day befor yesterday and died it was with me for 2.5 years it was a clown loach It hurts when some thing like this happens i know i was doing everything right and this happens this topic you are going to speak on fish jumping is very good and also important thank you sir for bringing this i can may be stop other fishes from doing this

Again,so informative sir. Especially the last few points. I've been keeping fish for 8 years and I didn't know about the moonlight part and that you must have a faint source of light at night times too. Great work sir. My tank is open, my tetra jumped out 2 were saved one time ...I had kids running near my tank and the fish got scared...bit both times it was in the day...one they were scared..2nd time I am guessing instinct to eat a bug... You mentioned night time there is co2 due to a few plants I have...less oxygen..my question is do I run a small oxygen stone in the night for a few hours...

@@MayurDevAquascaper There were only fry in that tank... well planted 6 plants growing well in 5 gallon aquarium. 10 fry, 4 of them were 1 inch long and the rest were 0.6 inch. No aggression was there. Also the big one jumped, not small one

The water should ideally be changed about 30% every 3 days for your tank, if the water is clean your fish will look and be healthy

Mr. Dev, your timing is absolutely perfect... I got 4 guppies yesterday and have quarantined them on an open tub with small rocks as substrate and also a vine of money plant with just a zero volt bulb - yellow shade. It also had a air pump connected to this tub. There are no tankmates at the moment considering they are very small. Early morning when I wanted to check on them, I saw only of guppies out of the tank struggling to breathe. I picked him up and have placed him back. He was in a shock for sometime and seems to be fine now. He is eating as well. Just can't figure out why he jumped. The water quality is decent considering I just changed water before adding them. While researching I came across the fact that the guppies do get curious and jump from tanks to explore. I want your take on it. I added money plant coz previously had a betta quarantined with no issues. I am thinking of adding more guppies to the tub but no sure if should go ahead with it. Please advise. Also, please tell me the plants that can be added to the tub which has no requirement for substrate or co2.

I've paced a plastic basket in my communal tank with betta inside it to ensure even if he jumps he lands in the communal tank now (Thanks to you, I got the idea from your gold fish bladder issue video). I do have iridescent sharks inside them which kind of troubles betta.

The point 4 is applied to my Molly fish tank I have two female Molly fish at starting I kept them in separate tanks one day I decided to keep the Molly fish together one fish jumped when I was not there thank god luckily the Molly fish was saved by me and now I kept it with its baby Molly its health and happy with its baby Molly fish ❤️❤️❤️👍

Sir, i can't afford chiller , and in summer i face problem for my aquarium temperature, so if I remove the top of my aquarium then the temperature keep maintaining but I have irredescent shark , barb, and koi so i always, remain tensed about that , my fish can jump out from water.

Sir i own an oscar since 11 months it was very happy from 5 days it stopped eating feed and now jumps out from tank and laying in bottles of tank

@@MayurDevAquascaper Sir my chilchid (mbuna) jumped out of water i realised it very late but when I placed again in pot after few mins she started her movement but not like normal...its been 6 hours she is alive but not eating anything....or moving as normal kindly help what to do

Yesterday one of my neon tetra jumped and fell on floor. I stepped on it by accident. It seemed a bit hurt, I picked it up and put it back in the tank. It was breathing but motionless for 30 mins. But after sometime it was fine, swimming, eating as usual. Neon tetra are one of the hardiest fish I have ever seen

Sir I have came here after your recommendation but my koi fishes are showing some abnormal activities like they are 4 in quantity and they are with me from past 4 years but since last week's they all are gathered at one place even some of them are moving too fast upside down (straight) they are hitting there heads on glass please help me sometime some of them get ulta for about 10 seconds Please help and tell me why they are behaving like this And I have not added any other fish since last 3 years please help can I call you?? This could be a swim bladder issue or the fish could be hurt, try and use some epsom salt in the water about 20 gas for 20 ptrs of water, this could help the bladder issue,
