While doing my work for Georgetown I was told of a lady named Martha. Martha grew up on Mansfield Plantation and has countless stories growing up there. She now visits regularly to go fishing the way she was taught when she was a kid by her grandma, on a cane pole. After she effortlessly catches an entire cooler of fish she will then take them home, clean them and give them to local homeless people in the area, or anyone that wants to come get some fish. Apart from hanging out and fishing with Martha she told me many stories about growing up on the land. This is still one of my favorite documentaries I have made till this day.
