What an iconic song ! I was in the army in Grahamstown, RSA, in 1968, and we used to play the Flames' songs rather loud in the solder's club during the evenings. The memories just floods back.

You know....I'm 69 years old.the Flames made my youth so very enjoyable!whenever I play this song,I cannot stop playing it over and over.these guys were a great band,and I was crazy over them.they inspired my taking-up guitar playing in the '70s.I even played in a band.to this day I have a collection of guitars and vinyls.thank you to the Flames for your beautiful music!RIP Steve.

I was there, 0.08 to 0.10 Fifteen years old and this was the first concert I went to, it was amazing even though it chucked it down. Afterwards, Blondie gave me one of the laces from his sneaker and I used it to hang a PEACE symbol round my neck. Shortly after that, I grew up. Happy days
