Not sure if that's why you uploaded it, or just a coincidence but still awesome either way! Always good to hear another version of Worm Mountain live fuck yeah!! :D There's something special about this era of the album before/during/after Embryonic was released. They were SO tight live during this period..My favorite openers they did was the Black Sabbath song leading into Worm Mountain after the band walked on stage from the big screen behind the stage with the lady's legs spread open.. Epic shit! Would have loved to have seen them around this time.
Yep, figured I'd upload it since someone was looking for it. Yeah, starting this channel and sharing all these shows has really given me a new appreciation for the 2006-2011 period of the Lips. I had previously dismissed it in favor of the Ronald Jones era, but after going back to all these shows, they sounded great. It would have been great to see them around that time.
this tour was my first Flaming Lips show, 2011 at Saltair, fuckin unreal. Unreal. the setlist that night was bonkers & as you said, seeing that entrance from the front was SPECIAL. photos from that night of Wayne above us in the bubble are STILL around.
