I do like Caitlin interacting with other characters (more screen time, just not with Iris), but that cup of coffee could’ve been shared with Barry. They have their own drinks at Jitters ffs

I'm calling it now: something happens to or is about to happen to Barry in the finale when all of a sudden Boom! Cait's powers resurface and she helps save the day. Cause he IS her trigger, whether either of them realizes it or not.

Well, i would rather have Caitlin talking to joe than Iris. Joe has been there since day one. Funny how small scenes from Joe & Caitlin are still better than all of Iris & Joes's scenes, wich had so little.
Hell yeah they always had. You can tell Joe is always worried (Harry being addicted) and now Caitlin. I feel like it should've been Barry talking to her more since OUT all of the persons Barry understands with Cisco her feelings the most. Seems like they're scared to just make them appear on a scene. I just love when Barry,Cisco,Caitlin,Harry talk in sync and get new Ideas. Iris is just out of the place really and no shitty reporter thing (sorry) will do anything since Devoe can change his Face! Hell he might CHANGE TO DIGGLES face next EP to get to ARGUS! However Iris & Caitlin's "Friendship" feels really fake.. I just really hate when Iris comes worried wich she does not give a single shit about others as long she's with barry. And just says "WE" bs.
This dumb article idea by Iris will probably be the catalyst for her getting her reporting job back at CCPN, which I'm fine with as long as it gets her away from StarLabs for good. But the writers probably saw how little chemistry that Iris and Caitlin had, so they may have even re-worked the scenes so it would be Joe giving Caitlin advice instead. Joe and Caitlin have had maybe a handful of scenes together over the course of the series and I feel as strong a father-daughter bond between them as I do with Joe-Iris. Plus, Joe and Caitlin have a good professional relationship. I liken it to the Joe-Barry dynamic.
For some reason, I've always seen Joe as a surrogate father figure for OTF. Joes' relationship with Barry is obvious but we also get really genuine scenes with him and Caitlin and/or Cisco that aren't over the top or melodramatic but feel like he really genuinely cares about them and vice versa. His open door policy for the West house kind of shows that, and making them feel welcome at holiday time which is usually just a family affair does too. Part of it might be equally tied to the fact that they looked after Barry when he was in a coma and that he saw how easily Barry clicked with both of them in the beginning and gave him an outlet and friendships that Barry was lacking in his friendship/secret crush/obsession with Iris. They have a lot of interests in common and are just as nerdy as he is. Barry and Cisco got very nerdy fan-boyish together, and Caitlin was able to relate and understand Barry in a way the West's weren't quite able to because neither went through any similar loss themselves. Then again Barry would have been dead how many times now if it wasn't for these 2? That might also be part of it, and the fact they have consistently had his back since day one.
Just when I thought it was impossible, Iris west reached a new level of low by mentioning that her bachelor party was ruined by amunet. I don't understand if the writers are trying to make her sound funny or obnoxious. But one thing for sure, she is the most hated character in this series.
I mean, she doesn't fit as a humorous character, but then I don't think she's much of a dramatic one either. At least she just doesn't fit on this show.
i love how it wasnt iris in everything like last episode -_- f***ing hate how the writers replaced our og trio to iris+ company >:( they NEED to town her charcter down ALOT, and to have more OG team flash in future seasons if they want fans to keep watching!!
Your so right, I don't understand why the writers want to deny us so much, they know how much more ratings they would get. Just plain stupid, I get they want WA to happen, but why are they doing these parallels if they don't want them to be together. Also, Iris can stick to being a reporter. Honestly I don't get why she isn't. It worked every other time, hell yeah she can be the boss of some organization, but not team flash, it just makes things awkward.
The Caitlin-Joe scenes were a treat in this episode. They have a special underrated relationship. They’ve always gotten along and have a healthy friendship and respect for each other. Also, in addition to Henry, I feel like Joe and Caitlin each are Barry’s moral anchors over the seasons giving him sound advice that truly benefits and inspires him. When they give him advice, I feel like he actually listens, unlike when Iris does it, I feel as if Barry just goes like me blah blah whatever woman! Lol And I LOVE Amunet’s character. I think she’s been s constant source of humor in a very disappointing season.
SnowBarry is like a boomerang ! They always come back to spite West-Allen , and by the by , Barry was her boss when he was Savitar and she was Killer Frost
3:20 Barry tells cisco what to do once and cisco reacts but when Iris tells them the *obvious* thing to do noone never reacts... REALLY WRITERS?? REALLY?
A few things I noticed or puzzled me about this episode: 1)Once again Cisco, Caitlin and Harry worked through the night to figure out what the hell is going on while Westallen just do whatever. And it's not really acknowledged and neither Barry nor Iris bring them breakfast and coffee to thank them for their hard work. Rude. 2)While I am happy (in a relative way) that Iris is going back to journalism, her 'plan' doesn't really make sense to me. How is telling people that a psychopathic mad-man is going to reset people's brains when there is very little the general populace can do to help besides create mass panic? How does she explain to the outside world how she got all this insider information? Wasn't one of the reasons Devoe took Ralph's powers because it would give him the power to shape shift and therefore look like anyone which would make people sending in sighting of him kind of iffy, since he can literally look like anyone? Doesn't Killgore's powers mean he might be able to fake sighting from different sources' phones and maybe lead them into a trap or at least away from where everything is actually going down? Or his mind control power to have others phone in fake sightings to do the same? It feels like a poorly thought out way to get Iris her old job back, which I'm completely fine with as long as they don't try to make it the catalyst for the teams plan to stop him. Oh, who am I kidding of course them will. Here's hoping it leads to her taking a job in a far of city where she can't be in the lab everyday. 3)What happened to Barry asking the teams opinions about the article idea? It's like more and more Barry just goes along with whatever Iris says with very little thought on his part. At least recently he's been starting to realise how self-centered she tends to be. "I know this isn't the ending we were expecting, so if anyone wants to talk." like 4 people are dead Iris so no, not the ending you were expecting. Great pep-talk.When he wants to figure out how he felt on his own while clearing out Ralph's office and she tracks him down (surprised he didn't use his powers to just get it done quicker) so she can give him a pep-talk about not giving up like usual and he tells her he wants to just 'pack up' because it's his way of dealing and doing something for Ralph, and the way she looks at him is like she's shocked he wants to figure out how he feels and how to grieve in his own way instead of her telling him "we'll find a way" or "we're the Flash" and the look she gives him almost feels like she wants him to feel guilty for wanting to do it on his own and not as a Westallen activity. Though that may have just been me. Iris likening Amunette ruining her bachelorette party to Caitlin being kidnapped and him being *sold* . How she focused more on their ruined wedding and delayed honeymoon that the NAZI'S INVADING THE BLOODY EARTH AND STEIN DYING! How is she the 'leader' again? She was literally the only one who did nothing but stand around, occasionally holding a tablet when the rest of the characters did the *actual* work. Again. And yet she get's just as much credit. Puzzling. 4)I like how Barry said he was Caitlin's friend, not her boss because it's why he was leader in the first place. It wasn't Barry gives orders and the rest of them obey like it comes across now with Iris in charge, with even her father calling her "Boss" which is just no. Barry was the leader, not the boss, and the plans actually used to be based in science instead of whatever 'we are the Flash' crap Iris has cooked up in the few occasions she has input beyond filler and pep-talks. Telling Barry to do what he did before just bigger barely counts. 5)2 things that irritated me about Barry being poisoned: 1.Why did Iris bother to look up the cure to the poison since Barry could barely move, let alone run to a hospital to pick up the anti-dote? I guess they could have had Cisco breach from one to the other to give it to him, but isn't what he ended up doing a lot easier? 2.Why does Iris suddenly have to keep telling Barry how and when to use his powers? He knows he can faze airborne toxins out of his system, he's done it before, so why does he suddenly need to have Iris *tell* him to do it before it occurs to him? It's so irritating that they're dumbing down Barry to try and either build her up or prove Iris' usefulness. Barry is on par intellect wise as Cisco, Caitlin and Harry so why do they keep trying to treat it like Iris is the brains to his powers? 6)Yah, a Joe episode! And I love that we got a lot of Caitlin/Joe and Caitlin/Barry scenes FINALLY! Caitlin and Joe have always been more the voices of reason for the team, and especially Barry, so it's good to see scenes where Joe shows why we love him as a character: his great advice and care for every member of the team not just his kids. 7)I don't think it's Barry that's her trigger, more it's her repressing her emotions and feelings in order to focus on saving Iris that caused Killer Frost to get stronger and take full control after Caitlin's death. I agree that Caitlin's feelings for Barry are something she represses, but it was probably the fear of turning in someone like Earth-2's Killer Frost and the continued inaction regarding her problems by the others (excluding Cisco and Julian) that contributed to it more. I mean think about what Caitlin said about Killer Frost getting stronger after she left after Savitars' death. She was feeling isolated and probably a lot of self-loathing for losing control and for her other side siding with Savitar, and her repressing those emotions may have led to Killer Frost getting stronger and Caitlin's deal with Amunette. It wasn't until after she came back and started to learn to accept Killer Frost as part of herself that they started to be able to co-exist and work together with her. 8)Once again Caitlin's ability to see the good in people (except you Zoom, get back in the shame corner) has led to an ally that could help turn the tide in Team Flash's favour. All hail the Queen.
Yes, Iris' idea was stupid (just look at the source), but if this is the catalyst to get her old job back and get her out of StarLabs FOR GOOD, I'm OK with it. I don't even want her visiting Barry or her "friends" at the lab anymore either. Just stay away and do your phantom reporting in OffScreenVille. She should go back to being a side character anyway. I liked the Joe-Caitlin scenes too because they are really Barry's anchors and good advice-givers. All the Iris advice is just smoke-blowing. I don't think Barry even really listens to her, it's just she's his wife so he's humoring her. I swear most of the crap that comes out of her mouth is just jibberish. She's such an inconsistent character, defined solely by the plot of the day. And she doesn't have a real backbone. Like when Caitlin dressed her down in the previous episode saying she'll get Frost back by herself not WE but SHE. Shows how little the scientists think of Iris and her leadership "skills". It's comical how Iris has to tell Barry to run, hit, cuff, phase, etc. It's the definition of dumbing down the Flash himself just so his love interest can be shoehorned in as the most important person in his life. The writers basically took an unskilled, incompetent failed reporter and turned her into a pseudo-scientist. And notice how when it's time for Iris to do something, the solution is right there on the tip of her fingers, like when Caitlin told the team that Amunet was a flight attendant, then by sheer magic, Iris pulls up her last flight by 2 presses of the keyboard. And they pulled it again this week with Barry standing still waiting for that snakeye dude to poison him so he could be debilitated so Iris could save him. Basically, it's get hurt on purpose so Iris can be the hero. Such insulting writing. It's like they know she's useless, irrelevant character so they have to force her utility on the series. Sad.
I still don't know why they've put Iris in the lab so much. Say what you want about Felicity, but she has actual skills and uses in the Arrow Cave.They should have just done what they did with the other non-scientist of the group (Joe) and just have them be in episodes where it actually makes *sense* for them to be there because they have actual input to give, not just shoehorn them in every episode with less and less plausible reasoning. Joe has his own career and his own life, which isn't entirely centered around STAR labs because that's not his niche. Learn from your dad, Iris.I mean they made almost all of last season about Barry trying to save Iris just to get her in every damn episode and get her in the lab when she had no real use or input. That being said I'm always in favour of more Joe scenes, especially with OTF members. Or with Cecile because they're seriously sweet. It's sad that the writers are so focused on trying to put Iris in the narrative more that they 1)don't bother to make sure it makes any sense or use her as more than as filler and a plot device on occasion with everyone telling her how wonderful and useful she is with very little to back that sentiment up and 2)have no problem trying to dumb down other characters and the plot itself to try and 'build her up'. What has she done in this season in the lab that couldn't have been done by literally anyone else? I read once about writing a good supporting character: that if when you take them out of the narrative and very little changes in the story itself, then you either need to do a rewrite of the character entirely or just take them out of the story. The writers have tried the first one pretty much every season with no effect beyond making Iris seem more inconsistent and unlikable. I know what I'm voting their next move will be. I get that Iris was a big part of Barry's childhood and it comes across like she was pretty much his only friend, but it's not like that's true anymore...well it was becoming more true since Barry seems to be having less friendship time/moments with anyone but Iris since they started at the end of season 2. But lets be honest, every single viewer could hate her and the writers would continue to try and put Iris front and center and make the Flash the Iris West-Allen show for some reason, going by the history of this show so far. The few times we've seen Barry be the adorkable and likable guy we all loved in season 1&2 was when he was in *prison* and he had to stand on his own two feet and think for himself instead of just agreeing with whatever Iris tells him. Ah well, I just skip through their scenes anyway at this point, I just watch now for Cisco, Caitlin, Harry, Joe, Cecile and Barry's moments with them as well and them as a group.
There's also one important thing! Iris somehow convinces Barry and post the articles, and give some Devoe can't hide from us BS! Even though devoe can shapeshift and teleport, pffff.

Did anyone noticed Caitlin went to cold off and think cleary in the "cortex" if that what it called. Where Caitlin and amunet are talking. Which where she was afraid to go because of Ronnie death. But not anymore since Barry help her comfort it and that where Barry turn killer frost back to Cait.

Even if you deny the intense and deep chemistry of Snowbarry, you cannot deny the fact that Snowbarry has more chemistry than WestAllen. U fear Snowbarry that's why you don't even want them to have a minute conversation. U don't even want them to be friends like they were in season 1 & 2. Everyone knows that WestAllen is going way to fast. I'm pretty sure they will break up in season 5. Snowbarry will be endgame. In this season they are partner in crime fighting, very soon they will be partner in life.
Have to say my favorite part of the original episode was when Barry shot Iris down after Iris brought up her bachelorette party. Lol I was so proud of him for that, finally grew a back bone. I mean really, he’s talking live or death changing stuff and she’s talking about a crashed party. REALLY? So when he looked at her and said ‘not the same thing’. I was so proud of him. So I am extremely happy that you added that part in this video. Because it wasn’t the same thing, it was just Iris being petty and selfish as always. And people wonder why we ship Snowbarry rather then WestAllen.

this episode made me want snowberry to happen even more than before and that's saying a lot. I've wanted snowbarry since season 1 with the whole snowberry club flirty singing episode and the shapeshifter barry kissing Caitlin in which caitlin never stopped it, but seemed to like it. can we also take a moment to think about how hot Danielle pannabaker is. (especially is the flashbacks in this video)
People who say that clearly haven't watch the show... she is the most selfless character on the flash, she always puts others first (that lead her to be 'broken'), always help people, she always sees the good in people even villain! last example 2 eps ago when she proposed to work fulltime on Harry's problem instead of her problem, and the list is long. She takes one choice for her and she's bad for it... that's bullshit! and even in that ep, in bringing Amunet she truly thought it would help defeat Devoe which it did. She just hit 2 birds with one stone. (if you consider Amunet as help for Cait because except lying to her... I hate that character so much). Anyway don't pay attention to people talking shit about Cait, she was awesome from the start and way before the kf power thing.
So first of all I am just so happy that you make these videos. Because it feels like talking to someone with the exact same opinion on Snowbarry and it feels better than good. We just need this ship to finally happen. And OMG the first parallel!!!! I didn't even notice! I love snowbarry as much as the next person but I feel you’re doing a great disservice to Caitlin by suggesting her powers are all about her connection to Barry. I also feel you are strongly stretching some in order to prop this beloved pairing. Still find (most) of your reactions thoroughly entertaining. Thanks for taking the time to make these vids. TheCjma88 Agreed, I think Caitlin’s powers are mainly about her self confidence, but you have to admit Barry is her inspiration/hero so part of it is her connection to Barry. Indeed, last season when Barry ignored her and feared her frosty side, Caitlin became distant, cold, and full of self-doubt. But this season, when she had a better understanding of herself and Barry accepted her frosty self, Caitlin became her confident, warm, open self again (so much so that the line between killer frost and herself became blurred).
I’m not denying Caitlin and Barry have a connection. Personally, I feel her powers are tied to her emotions. Caitlin has been through so much and handles her trauma by compartmentalizing or pushing down the feelings she chooses not to acknowledge. While an argument can be made this applies to Barry, I don’t believe it’s about what she feels for who. I believe it’s how she handles those feelings. When she was bottling everything up. Her fear, her anger, etc Killer Frost fed in those emotions. They were her triggers. Now that Caitlin is being more honest with herself about what she’s feeling she is more in tune with KF, who allowed Caitlin to explore and express a different side of herself. Again, this all my opinion.

In my opinion I believe Caitlin should hum the song Barry sang to her right before he gives her the ring that when she is sad she can look at her ring and smile and realize that she is Caitlin Snow Allen and that Barry Allen loves her with all his heart and will never stop loving her.
Oh also did u see the promo poster for 4x22 Caitlin is right next to Barry, but behind him from the photo angle, so it ties into your “behind Every man is a great woman” just thought u should know!
