In early May, the Logos Hope - a large ship that has been travelling around the world - docked at Durban Harbour. Comprising a crew of mostly volunteers, the Logos Hope is no ordinary vessel. It’s a floating book fair. With over 5000 book titles covering subjects that range from science to medicine and even children’s literature, it’s a book lovers’ dream. Now, the Logos Hope has moved to Cape Town, where avid bookworms can also get a chance to get their heads stuck in.

I went to see the floating book fair twice and it was amazing. Bought 3 books. Took the kids. We had a lovely time.

Logos Hope had a Christian agenda. I did not know that before coming on board. Great books for kids though.

Unfortunately the library was broken into for the 6th time on 30 July. They stole laptops, clothes for the needy and the kids' porridge 😢 They need assistance.
