I find the beginning of this message strange, because I've never thought about rewards before. I've been studying God's Word for just 9 years now though, so maybe I haven't gotten to that part yet. But I never considered that very important I guess. I always assumed that the reward is being in heaven with Jesus. I don't pay attention to what other people have or what I don't have. I live below the poverty level, I have no tv or car, and I don't have health either. But I have enough to live; shelter, food, some clothes. A Bible, and my cats, and a computer so I can listen to people like Voddie and John MacArther and other good teachers. That's all I need. I love listening to Voddie Baucham's teachings because I learn a lot. Thank you for sharing these videos. PS. Ken Ham built a life size replica of Noah's Ark in Williamstown, KY. Someone should invite Voddie to go see it. Well, I take some of that back. There is one thing that I've always wanted that I never got and I didn't think of it until Voddie started talking about his kids. I never had a loving family. From my parents to my kids to my ex. None of that was loving. And I don't have any now, or any friends, and I'm too old now for any of that stuff. So that's my one desire I had in life that was never fulfilled. But I was not a Christian during the years I could have had some of that, so that's the way it goes. I'm still waiting to be with Jesus. And I have decided (after watching Stephen Baldwin's testimony here on RU-vid today) that I am going to run up to God at the beginning and end of every one of my days I have left on this earth and sit on His lap (metaphorically) and wrap my arms around Him and tell Him I love him and I can't wait to see Him as I go into my prayer time.
I'm was in Calvert City, Kentucky when I finished listening to this study. The same state where there's the actual Noah's Ark museum. I understood the seriousness of the flood, and the magnitude of judgement our sin required, and couldn't help but think of the Titanic movie starring Leonardo Dicaprio. In that movie you felt for all the people who were escaping in fear for their lives to get on the safety boat the Titanic had, and how women and children were given priority. It's similar to how Noah's family were given priority. A very convicting study.
If you think about it, Noah had brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins that were all beating on the side of that Ark as well. Begging to let them in. They all turned her back on him just like just like the rest of the world turn their back on God and were continually evil.
My god, right on time. I was wondering why I keep ending up in conversations that take from my spirit and last night I realized, those are the very conversations and situations that lead me to dig deeper into the word. Bible study becomes an hour longer when I’m feeling a type of way and sometimes it takes days until god saves me again and again. Digging for that peace and or revelation because sometimes it’s an answer to my question and sometimes it’s just peace until the answer comes to me. Amen amen amen 🙏

I looked up how much it cost to build the ark replica that is in Kentucky. 100 million dollars and it's only a replica. I doubt it would float for a day without sinking. That's a big boat!
The Ark in KY wasn't intended to float, but Noah's ark did. Wood floats...don't matter how heavy it is. Look at how heavy a Navy aircraft carrier is...or a shipping vessel...but they float. There's a science to it. Noah's ark didn't have steering b/c it wasn't going anywhere. Its purpose was only to float on the surface of the water. The Kentucky ark is an amazing build in and of itself as a Christian outreach. To give people a sense of the reality of the Ark, and more importantly, the reason for the ark. You are blessed to have gotten to see and experience it!

it's common among preachers...going way way back in time. Amen isn't just how you end a prayer. The word "Amen" means 'truly' or an emphatic "yes, yes!", or "Agreement". In some versions of the Bible, Jesus is quoted as saying: "Amen, Amen I say to you..." It just means "truly, truly". When Voddie says "Amen SOMEBODY!" or "Amen?" he's simply seeking confirmation. Or agreement. As if to ask a rhetorical question.. "Amen?"...meaning..."have I not spoken correctly?" OR "This is TRUE, isn't it?" It's just a manner of speaking.
You do know that this is what Voddie Baucham stands for and follows. It is no secret that he is 100% a 5-Point Calvinist. Is the following who you see as a teacher of Gods word? He couches his words as not to offend, as Calvin's cutting words do. But make no mistake, ask him in private and he will tell you yes, that is the way it is! God arranges all things by his sovereign counsel, in such a way that individuals are born, who are doomed from the womb to certain death and are to glorify him by their destruction.( John Calvin Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 23, Paragraph 6) “…salvation is freely offered to some while others are barred from access to it.” (John Calvin, Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 21, Paragraph 5) “We call predestination God’s eternal decree, by which he compacted with himself what he willed to become of each man. For all are not created in equal condition; rather, eternal life is fore-ordained for some, eternal damnation for others.” (John Calvin, Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 21, Paragraph 5) Now a quote from another promoter of Reformed Calvinism. John Piper: " God . . . brings about all things in accordance with his will. In other words, it isn’t just that God manages to turn the evil aspects of our world to good for those who love him; it is rather that he himself brings about these evil aspects for his glory (see Ex. 9:13-16; John 9:3) and his people’s good (see Heb. 12:3-11; James 1:2-4). This includes-as incredible and as unacceptable as it may currently seem-God’s having even brought about the Nazis’ brutality at Birkenau and Auschwitz as well as the terrible killings of Dennis Rader and even the sexual abuse of a young child . . . Make no mistake the following false teacher follow the same thinking. Some are afraid to say it but it is part of the Calvinist package. Interesting that you chose this video to dispute what God says in the Holy Bible says about predestination. You saw a video with Voddie and thought it’d be a perfect opportunity to use your copy/paste text and completely missed a perfect example of predestination. It’s kind of like writing “there’s no such thing as a blue pen” with a blue pen. You need to stop repeating what someone taught you and ask that God open your ears to the truth of His word. Genesis 6:18 “But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark-you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.” For simplicity, say that there were 100,000 people on the earth at that time. God said, decades before the flood, that 8 people would get on the ark and 99,992 would not get on the ark.
@@Psalm146-2 Here is a perfect example of predestination. (the un perverted version that Calvinists teach) Predestination example 1: Its kind of like this. A man’s wife is finally pregnant and the couple are over joyed. I hope it is a boy the man said and I hope he will be interested in becoming an electrician like me. I also hope he goes into the trade and if he does, I plan for him to take over the family business some day! But I know that these plans that I have made for him, before one of his days of life begin will be entirely up to my son. I cannot force him, I cannot put a gun to his head, I can only encourage and guide him and hope. In other word’s the man has predestined a plan for his son, He has chosen a plan for his son. He has elected to give all this to his son if he so desires it! Outcome 1 The baby is born and it is a boy. He is interested in his fathers work and goes to electrical trade school, but drops out and becomes a lawyer instead. Outcome 2 He drops out of school becomes a bum, a drunk or a murderer etc. Outcome 3 The son follows his fathers predestinated plan, through trade school and takes over his father’s business. The fathers predestined plans for his son will happen, or will not happen, according to the choices the son makes. Its the same with mankind. There is a master plan given to every human being to know God, reach salvation and eternity in Heaven. But to follow or reject the plan is the choice given to every individual. This is the "Good News Gospel" that the Angels proclaimed when the Messiah was born. Satan has attacked that message from the beginning, twisting it into what is now known as Calvinism or the doctrine of election. Predestination example 2: Grandma saves and saves to buy her granddaughter a plane ticket to France. She has been saving for many years and the day finally arrived and she gave her granddaughter her special gift. The granddaughter goes to the airport and asks the attendant which plane to get on. The attendant says, what is your destination on your ticket? He reads the ticket which says “Destination France.” He also said that flight 446 is a modern jet that was especially built and destined by the airline to fly exclusively to France for its entire service life. So, this aircraft has been predestined to fly to a predestined location, France. The girl gets on the plane and is now destined to travel to France on the predestined plane, that has been predestined by its designers, to reach its predestined, destination! This girl will arrive at her predestined trip that her grandmother predestined years before, as long as she goes to the airport, gets on the right plane and stays on the plane! All this took place by the choices the granddaughter made. Predestination example 3: "The man on an island." Imagine a man has been taken to a desolate island with everything he needs to survive and given only a Bible to occupy his time. This man has no preconceived idea about religion so everything he will learn over the next 10 years he will get directly from the Bible and Gods leading. The man accepts God’s plan of salvation and what he has learned from the Bible. He repents and is born again. The Holy Spirit is now counselling the man from the inside. He studies intensely for the 10 years growing in his faith and walking closer and closer with God daily. After 10 years he comes back to the mainland world and decides he needs to fellowship with other Christians as the Bible says he should. The man approaches a number of different churches and looks through the windows from the outside and says to himself “What are they doing in there what are they saying about God? How do you think this man will compare what he knows to be true, from what he sees going on in the mainline churches today? Do you think he will find what the mainline denominations are teaching will be in harmony to what this true follower of Jesus Christ has learned? You know it won’t be! TRUTH IN LOVE
