Imagine being adored by millions because decades of your hard work, dedication, courage & strength have made you into one of the most physically powerful women in the WORLD! On top of that you have a beautiful soul, are not afraid to speak up for those who can’t, with a smile that lights up a stadium! She truly will go down in history as the gymnastics GOAT 🤸🏿♀️ 🐐🫶🏻
People don't understand just how high she actually jumped because she's short and tiny. Her strength is amazing and puts floor gymnastics into new perspective. It used to be an all around cute delicate sport about flexibility. Biles changes it into a powerhouse of strength, stamina and force. She almost broke the floor with those jumps.
😂No, it didn’t. Not taking anything away from Simone here, but you’re way out. You clearly know nothing of the power performances of Olga, Nadia, Nastia, Shawn. Go back and watch them and learn a thing or two.
@@dilberta6046vintagecherries is correct. The names you listed showed graceful meticulous movement. Someone like Biles redefines how people see gymnastics whether people like it or not.
@@glendaflores6229Olga Korbut was the one who changed gymnastics by introducing daring and dangerous moves no one has ever seen in women’s gymnastics. Olga pioneered the essence of modern women gymnastics.
this podium has a gold medalist who had mental health struggles and the twisties, a silver medalist who's had not 1, not 2, but 3 acl tears, and a bronze medalist who's in remission from kidney disease. and it's all their second olympic aa medal. wow.❤
I should have mental struggles at the Simone Byles level. No youth, high exigence from all your surroundings, daily really hard work with a lot of rivalities surrounding yourself
her sportsmanship is out of this world.. she encourages all the athletes regardless of the Countries they represents.. a true leader..you can see every athelet wants to be near her.. even the other team managers and coaches from other countries, they respect her.,🎉🎉 I'm from the Continent Africa where gymnastics are not so bíg but I enjoyed watching this Olympics Gymnastics more than the previous ones.. well done to the athletes who took part in this games..🎉🥳🔥🙌🙌
I can't wait to watch the next episodes on Neflix about Simone Biles and her achievements in this Olympic Games 2024, what an extraordinary and successful girl, congratulations!
An awesome inspiring routine but an athlete who performs and excels beyond emotional, mental and physical challenges past and present. Simmone is the greatest "GOAT" of all times...not even Jordan could top this! We love you Simmone❤
This was FLAWLESS!!!!!! How I wish she had the same experience in the floor finals as well ( ugh, that cursed beam ) Ofc I Loved Rebecca and absolutely think she deserved the gold that day, but this routine in itself, when performed the way it was today , is FANTASTIC. One of a kind. Unlikely to be seen again any time soon. Only GOAT level.
I don't like this camera angle and those zooms, you can't clearly see how high she jumps when films like that. I've seen other camera angles of her routines that gaves you a better view her jumps, they were surreal 😮 it was as if she was levitating in the air
Oh my goodness! Simone Biles is a phenomenal athlete! I love 💕 that is a beautiful humble young lady has represented THE USA 🇺🇸 WITH GREAT SPORTSMANSHIP.
She won by over one point. She could have fallen and still won gold. Without that uncharacteristic error on bars, she would have won by over two points. Simone had no competition in the all-around.
@@tuna2693 I mean nothing is certain, Simone never fell on her acro series on beam finals and yet she fell that time. Nobody could beat her on floor and yet she didn't win gold (of course because the whole out of bound things). Yes she only needed more than 13.867 to win but that means she couldn't afford a fall AND OOB
Simone could have done the floor she did for floor final, with that injury, and still win, after that mistakes on bars. She said she never had such strong competitor, but the thing is she could have won with two huge mistakes. And with the current COP, mistakes destroy scores. Yet, she can afford those mistakes. The difference between them in AA is really huge.
People keep going on about how Simone is back but in my eyes she took a well earned break , also let’s not forget didn’t she still win 2 medals in Tokyo? I mean for most gymnasts that would be the absolute best they could achieve in their whole sporting lives . So let’s not forget what she still achieved in Tokyo . More than many other athletes that’s for sure .
She lost by only a fraction of a point with two major mistakes..she almost had the gold..I wished they did the FX first instead of beam, i.think her fall from the beam affected her FX routine
am I the only one that thinks this. You see how focused she is here, knowing she is about to win all around. She can control all of her movements. HoWEVER, when she did floor finals, it almost feels like she is having fun...and jumps out of bounds (twice) and loses to Andrade (who placed first, simone 2nd). Maybe she does that on purpose...because she may want to just spread the medals around and give everyone a shot? IONO...VERY different way of thinking about this I know. Just sayin.
I thought so too, somebody to play with, fun, it's lonely at the top.... she smiled for REAL! look at past Olympics ..... I'm glad she is enjoying gift now, without owners and pure love for the sport..thanks Simone
correction Simone won the Silver medal on Floor ex in the Olympics due to .6 deduction for two out of bounds finishing .33 less then Rebecca Andrade 14.166 Simone's score was 14.133 and Jordan Chiles updated score was 13.766 though later stripped of the bronze by the Court Of Arbitration in Sport
It seemed focussed on technique with style stripped down to a minimum, but that seems to be what's required for this stage of the competition? She's incredible nonetheless, a very powerful body and extreme determination, as do they all.
