I’m enjoying all of your Magnolia videos. You explain things very well and have a pleasant personality. So, you don’t slightly loosen the roots of the plants before you plant them? I always thought we needed to do that. I cant wait to get my hands back in the soil after all the rains we’ve had in Southern California. Looking forward to more videos. 🌿
Thank you, Erin!! I got 4 of your gorgeous Floret original zinnia seed varieties and I’m going to use these tips when planting. Can’t wait! Question - with the 9 inch spacing do you still pinch your zinnias to encourage a bushier plant?
I just love how you show and explain your gardening tips. A butter knife. Who knew, and now I don't feel so bad for using the things from my kitchen, or even my toolbox. Thanks so much and look forward to learning more.
I have only recently found your channel and I ordered a couple of packets of your zinnia seeds. I am very excited this to see how beautiful they are! I in zone 8 (just recently upgraded from 7b) in Raleigh, NC. I loved your plant choices for the container you planted in this video. Will you be letting us see this container as it develops and also I noticed you didn't mention anything about fertilizer in the container planting. Will you use fertilizer? Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful knowledge!
Great videos. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. May I ask what kind of fertilizer you are using? Also for the in ground planting, is the top soil right on top of cardboard?
Thanks for the video! I'm curious, it shows cardboard on the ground and then you placed soil over the top, do you dig through the cardboard to plant your seedlings or is there enough soil on top to plant in without having to dig through the base cardboard layer?
Erin, you are an incredible teacher!! And these videos are made so well with your learning audience in mind. I am three years in to learning how to vegetable garden and really wanted to add in flowers to small spaces I can find. Why I was so overwhelmed to start flowers by seed I don’t know- I’ve been learning veg gardening, why would this be so hard for me? I don’t know but finding you, I’m now going to just start!! Thank you so much Erin!
Oh, I so enjoy your videos. I pray that this is guiding me to a long ago childhood dream of a small farm. Thank you for the lovely videos and the knowledge that you so graciously share.
