I'm back with a chatty in practice review of both The Mushroom Oracle and The Flower Oracle by Broccoli publisher. I include some "peculiar pairings" too, which is pretty on brand for me. Think vibes over aesthetics this time round.

I'm taking another break for a bit. My chronic conditions are incredibly flared, I'm in hospital apps a lot and just physically/emotionally/mentally exhausted. Also, after a spat of several troll like commenters who don't know when to quit, I'm feeling less inclined to share publicly. I just ordered The Seashell Oracle due in part to seeing Theia's video. I'm so glad you talked about engaging with the three keywords or rather how you do or don't engage with the words. I've been thinking about different approaches oracles have to titles, keywords, and the amount of them and which combination best works for me. Depends upon the theme of the deck, but I love to experiment. Thanks for the thoughtful commentary.

Oh that’s so exciting. I can’t wait to hear how you get on with it. I’m definitely asking for it for my bday, so fingers crossed. I’m really glad my ideas were helpful. I’m honestly just loving them in practice. It’s been some of my most used oracles this year. I feel like the give me the space I need when feeling glum or overwhelmed, so it makes them more accessible with everything going on. 😻

I was not aware that there is a 3rd deck. I have both the mushroom oracle and the seashell oracle. But now I want to get the 3rd one. I pair mine with the tarot of Persephone‘s garden, but I do have the naturescapes tarot, and I love the pairing you did here. The other pairing I do that may seem odd is the mushroom oracle with the margarete Peterson tarot. The color palette is perfectly matched! Thank you for such a thorough and detailed video! I always appreciate that!

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Do you enjoy the seashell? I’m pretty keen now based on these two lol. The Persephone tarot is a perfect pairing. If I owned it, it would be a choice. Sadly no stockists locally. Ooo I can see the Peterson being a sumptuous colour pairing. 🥰😍

"Unpopular Pairings" ☠🤣🤣 Nice. I bet the color change to the uniformed black text was for a readability issue. For example, that bubblegum pink on the Botanist could be challenging to read on the cream background, and it would probably make your eyes vibrate.

Yea that’s what I figured. Although I’d have liked it still, despite the eye ache hahaha. Unpopular pairings should totally be a thing hahaha. Enjoyable AF 👌🏻

Yes. If you’re looking to buy online, broccoli mag have all their uk stockist are listed on their website so you can work out who’s best/closest to you. They’ve only all just started getting them, I don’t think little red tarot has theirs yet, but I know they’re getting it.
