Willy wonderland wasn't a rip-off. It was its own story because people kept comparing it to FNAF because the Creator didn't know what FNAF was. It might look similar but it's it's own story so I guess it's okay for you to compare it
The reason he barely says a word in that movie is because they would of had to pay him more for each line he said. I think its like $800 a line or something?
@@coolboss999 no they wouldn’t, Nicolas cage literally loved the script so much and even forced them to do the original script cause of how much he loved it. I’m also pretty sure he straight up requested to not say a single world in the film.
Just like other Badass Main characters in Games. Like Gordon Freeman (Half-Life), Doomguy (In the Original DOOM), Adrian Shephard (Half-Life: Opposing Force), Chell (Portal), Claude (GTA3) and Isaac Clarke (Dead Space) Putting a Silent Protagonist in a Movie makes it More Badass, To see how It can Work like Old 90's Games.
Fun Fact: The FNAF movie was originally produced by Warner Bros. But there were a lot of issues in the production, so then the movie was moved to Blumhouse Productions. After the movie was moved to a different company, Warner was left with a old script for the FNAF movie. So they changed it a bit and then it was used for The Bannana Splits.
Willies wonderland is a masterpiece because of how unserious it is It makes you laugh because it's so cheesy And honestly after a while the anamatronics kinda make you unsettled And Nicolas cage being a badass murdering all the anamatronics without talking at all is one of if not the best parts of the movie, especially the heads shoulders knees and toes scene where he goes ballistic
I’ve heard that the Banana Splits movie plot is supposed to be the F.N.a.F. movie’s original plot, when Warner Bros was working on it. But Scott did not like it. So after Blumhouse took over, Warner Bros was like: “Well we don’t to waste this script, so let’s make our own horror animatronic movie with this idea.” 😂
I hate that fans think haunted Animatronics is strictly Fnaf’s thing. It’s the same concept, but people have different takes on it. That’s like saying every masked horror killer is a rip-off of Leatherface.
Here’s a few fun facts. Nicolas cage loved the script for Willy’s wonderland so much that he requested it be the original script written, he also (I’m pretty sure) requested to not say a single line in the movie. Also, in a interview with the writer for Willy’s wonderland, turns out the film wasn’t meant to be a fnaf ripoff at all. And then this final one, the banana splits is actually a really old childrens show. They were all real, and they decided to make that trash horror film using the characters.
@@Mr.Nintendo100The script for Banana Splits was from an original FNaF film draft, so I would definitely say it’s honestly the largest rip-off of them all.
When I was younger I would watch The Banana Splits when they were on. It was one of my favorite shows when it was still running. I feel old when hearing about The Banana Splits, but that's okay. Anyway, when I saw that they were making a horror movie about it, I was in disbelief. I thought it was a joke, but I was wrong. I was a little upset because that show was really fun to watch, but now it's giving me a creepy vibe which sucks because I loved that show. Another thing is that I'm not a fan when people take your childhood and turn it into something that isn't kid-friendly. But the Grimms Fairytale is another topic, but I don't mind reading those stories because I find them interesting (it's complicated). Anyway, Willy's Wonderland was a good movie to watch. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
DO not act liek a fucking kid, your a old man or women, older adult people dont need to be scared of creepy stuff, unless theres a monster under your bed... 🐻
Im so confused. Didnt the Banana Splits have their own tv show at some point? I swore I saw them on the Boomerang Channel as a kid. Now their killers??
The Banana Splits was a tv segment that would play in between cartoons in the 60’s, then was rebooted in the 00s-10s. Warner bros had recently lost the license to FNaF, so they decided to re-use the script, and they chose The Banana Splits as the theme.
I predict the movie will be similar to The Ring, characters descend down a rabbit hole through something. Instead of a VHS it’s animatronics and the dead children
6:38 to be honest, the fact that this movie is a "continuation" of a really old kids show that has adults in costumes, kinda the old show looks like fnaf lol
Wait….so the movie with the Billy Bob Broccoli lookalike is called “the hug” and the animatronic isn’t a bear but a panda bear named Pandory? All I gotta say to that is this: The Rock-a-fire explosion just called, Billy Bob wants his face back
if anyone is wondering the names of the other animatronics here, the elephant in the banna splits is snorky, the dog is fleegle, the lion is drooper and the orange ape is bingo, willy is the big tall weasle, tito is the turtle, siren sarah is the siren, ozzie is the ostrich, gus is the gorilla, arty is the alligator chammy is the chamelion.
If I’m correct I’m not sure about Willy’s wonderland but I know the banana splits film used a scrapped version of the FNAF movies plot ( and obviously altered it a bit ) And just watching the first part brought back partial trauma from when I saw the… first thing mentioned here… years ago It traumatized little me Make fun of me but young me was so traumatized ( before you ask how i saw that when I was little I was watching random FNAF based videos clicked on it thinking it was gonna be a bite of 87 ( before everyone watched those lore videos saying “that was the bite of 83 the 87 one was mangle ) expy Then i saw it got so scared I couldn’t even hear the word hug without getting PTSD flashbacks I’m over it now but I still avoid that video like the plague Call me a wimp or something I don’t care I just rant like this sometimes I would stop but I’m stuck ranting for somereason
The hug used stolen art of Billy Bob from showbiz pizza place lol, the creator doesn't wanna utilize it anymore because of how it's tied to a horror short.
Aaron Fechter accepted a Concept Unification in 1989 and for The Hug to use Billby Bob's face for a panda, What will be next? A FNAF Fan asking for own animatronics with the mechs of the SPP characters?
Remember, the banana splits and Willy’s wonderland are actually SCRAPPED scripts for the Fnaf movie. So, no they are not knock offs. I’m sick and tired of people seeing animatronics and thinking it’s a knock off of fnaf
I relate, once I woke up and seasame street was on tv, my parents were sleeping, (mind you I was 5) and I go out, and 20 minutes later my mum finds me behind the couch crying because of how terrified I was that cookie monster hugged and put his chin on top of a kids head.
1: The Hug. This doesn't actually count. 2: The Banana Splits. It at least keeps the elements of the show. But I couldn't even bother to watch this. Taking a good show and making a horror film out of it is doing the original dirty. 3: Willy's Wonderland. At least this one went in a direction we didn't know we wanted. A silent protagonist who does what we wish we could all do. I saw the FNaF movie and everyone involved cared about the fans. They used very little blood and virtually no gore. This helps with the rating. I enjoyed it enough to want a sequel.
Fun fact : the banana split movie was supposed to be the Original Fnaf movie but Scott cawthon denied the script soo Warners bros had to find some goofy mascot show they already owned and turned them into horror versions of them self soo yeah the banana splits were actully a show before the horror movie released and now they are still in the child domain
YOU NEED TO LEARN FIRST!!! 1: fnaf didn't start "evil robot" 2: willys wonderland came first 3: the fnaf movie is a rip off 4:banana spilts is also first 5:STILL FNAF IS RIP OFF STOP WITH THE DUMB STUFF PLEASE! I'm talking about the movie
The Banana Split Movie and Willy’s Wonderland had me to think that those aren’t ripoffs. The fact that both movies are released in a different year before this movie was released on 2023
Actually, i remember reading years ago that Scott went to both studios that made Willy's and banana split, and wanted to make the fnaf movie with them. But went, f*ck it, and scrapped the script and moved to another studio, which would be the one for Willy's, and then blum house
You’re half right. Banana Splits is an old draft of the FNaF film before Warner Bros was let off of the project. Willy’s was an original script that hadn’t had any interactions with Scott or the FNaF franchise.
They are Rip-Offs but not Rip-offs. Basically Willys Wonderland and The Banana Splits are scraped scripts from Scott. And the Hug was almost or was sued by Aaron Fecther the man who made Showbiz Pizza because Pandory looked to much like Billy Bob. They also used their art.
Willy's Wonderland was not a scrapped script for the FNAF movie. That movie was entirely it's own thing, thus not making it a rip off. Get your facts right.
Phone Guy - "Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay? Uh, let's see, first there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read. Uh, it's kind of a legal thing, you know. Um, "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced." Blah blah blah, now that might sound bad, I know, but there's really nothing to worry about. Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too. So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children and we need to show them a little respect, right? Okay. So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh...Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know? Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll p-most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh. Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night." fnaf 1 night 2 Phone Guy - "Uhh, Hello? Hello? Uh, well, if you're hearing this and you made it to day two, uh, congrats! I-I won't talk quite as long this time since Freddy and his friends tend to become more active as the week progresses. Uhh, it might be a good idea to peek at those cameras while I talk just to make sure everyone's in their proper place. You know... Uh... Interestingly enough, Freddy himself doesn't come off stage very often. I heard he becomes a lot more active in the dark though, so, hey, I guess that's one more reason not to run out of power, right? I-I also want to emphasize the importance of using your door lights. There are blind spots in your camera views, and those blind spots happen to be right outside of your doors. So if-if you can’t find something, or someone, on your cameras, be sure to check the door lights. Uh, you might only have a few seconds to react... Uh, not that you would be in any danger, of course. I'm not implying that. Also, check on the curtain in Pirate Cove from time to time. The character in there seems unique in that he becomes more active if the cameras remain off for long periods of time. I guess he doesn't like being watched. I don't know. Anyway, I'm sure you have everything under control! Uh, talk to you soon." fnaf 1 night 3 Phone Guy - "Hello, hello? Hey you're doing great! Most people don’t last this long. I mean, you know, they usually move on to other things by now. I'm not implying that they died. Th-th-that’s not what I meant. Uh, anyway I better not take up too much of your time. Things start getting real tonight. Uh... Hey, listen, I had an idea: if you happen to get caught and want to avoid getting stuffed into a Freddy suit, uhh, try playing dead! You know, go limp. Then there's a chance that, uh, maybe they’ll think that you're an empty costume instead. Then again if they think you're an empty costume, they might try to... stuff a metal skeleton into you. I wonder how that would work. Yeah, never mind, scratch that. It's best just not to get caught. Um... Ok, I'll leave you to it. See you on the flip side!" fnaf 1 night 4 Phone Guy - Hello, hello? Hey! Hey, wow, day 4. I knew you could do it. Uh, hey, listen, I may not be around to send you a message tomorrow. *banging* It's-It's been a bad night here for me. Um, I-I'm kinda glad that I recorded my messages for you *clears throat* uh, when I did. Uh, hey, do me a favor. *banging* Maybe sometime, uh, you could check inside those suits in the back room? *banging* I'm gonna to try to hold out until someone checks. Maybe it won’t be so bad. *bang bang* Uh, I-I-I-I always wondered what was in all those empty heads back there. *chime plays*. You know...*deep moan* oh, no - *noises followed by a loud screech and static* fnaf 1 night 5 Note: The phone call from Night Five is not actually spoken by Phone Guy. It's more likely one of the animatronics in a deep, garbled, demonic-sounding voice. When the audio clip is played backwards and some post-processing applied, it is rendered into a difficult to understand, and hard to translate, garble.
I say it now and i'll say it in the future again, Scott Cawthon needs to give Nicolas Cage a Janitor role in the Fnaf 2 or 3 Movie where he does exactly the same thing he did in Willys Wonderland, William Afton may not come back after that one
Sure they are knockoffs but they were inspired. Fnaf has changed the gaming industry forever in terms of haunted and malfunctioning animatronics. Willie’s wonderland is an amazing movie! But I’m hoping the Fnaf movie far surpasses it!!!
The banana splits was actually a old show in the 1950's I belive. They didn't copy FNaF, just used an old show since WB cancelled the FNaF movie. (Not hating)
Fun fact: Warner Bros. we’re going to make the fnaf movie back in 2019 but Blumhouse bought the rights to fnaf so Warner brothers decided to make the banana splits into a horror movie because they own the rights to it so we were supposed to get the five nights at Freddy’s movie in 2019
People are going to say “no cares” but… the banana splits was actually a show in 1970 to 2001 but after the Fnaf movie was scraped they thought of the banana spilts cause they look creepy and that’s how we got it MAYBe about the last part
T'he Banana Splits Movie' was Actually Suppose to be The ORIGINAL FNaF movie by 'Warner Bros' When it happened. They didn't want to do it, so Blumhouse and Universal Studios is now In charge of the Movie. There were Scripts about the Movie that sounds like What Hollywood Try making A Game Movie that is not about the Game. One of them was the Script based off the 'Silver Eyes' Book, The other was mean't to be a Ghostbusters type Movie and had no Plots to Freddy's. But they chose the one called "The Mike Script" Which is what they Did for the Upcoming Movie, And It makes sense With the Lore and Games which is About the First Game. Not some Shitty knock Off by a 8 Year Old who only played the Original 1st Game.
i watched the hug when I was like 7, 8 or 9 i can’t remember and it traumatised me as younger me just see pandory eat the kid seriously I don’t think I slept well that night
What I find insane is that contrary to what he said at 12:36, Willy's Wonderland actually has a 60% score on Rotten tomatoes, while the Five Nights at Freddy's movie had a 29%. However they changed it now to 87% which is excellent.
