That green paste was not spinach it is mixture of Coriander, Mint and green chillies. Exactly that looks delicious tho :)

Great show my friend! Being from the great Smokey Mountains and being raised on taters and beans with corn bread, I never thought I would like to eat any other food, but the food this chef fixed looked so good and I would love to try his dishes! Being in the military I have traveled around the world, but I never had the opportunity to try India food. Hope to one day! Thank you for the great shows! One question? Why does the chef bring the salt to his mouth before putting it in the food?

+Standing Bear From 10:17 to 10:24, the chef says he always *smells* the salt before he adds it to food. He says he's following his mom's "formula", because she used to tell him that if you smell the salt before adding it to the food, the salt would not be too much for the food. Needless to say, that's just a sentimental thing that doesn't really affect the taste of the food.

This video is a good example of how Hindi is weaseled into an English programme in an ostensibly innocuous manner. This is how attempts are being made to slowly but steadily nudge English out, and replace it with Hindi. *It is nothing short of being an utter disgrace!*
