This is a great example of how complicated Beatles songs were without us knowing it, all the different instruments to make the sounds fit the song Great Job! Love the Beatles Music 50 years on
*People don't realize how complex the Beatles songs are. And that is why they're the best rock band in history. You have to give credit to their arranger and sound engineer Mr. George Martin, a classical-music trained artist.*
You also have to give credit to the Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick who was actually the man who turned dreams into reality for the Beatles , eg,. the vocals on "I am the Walrus" by using the revolving speakers of a Hammond organ to put John"s vocals through
Since there is no possibility of listening to full Beatles albums on RU-vid, this is the best option. The covers are incredible quality, some are really similar to the originals.
I would recommend anyone that hasn't watched it to watch the documentary on how this group put together their instruments. The attention to detail by van Poppel is incredible.
Had the pleasure of meeting these guys last year in London. Then the show in the evening was amazing. I'm off to see them in a week's time in Birmingham. Can't wait
You know what`s incredible about this song...? It was recorded in 1967. I`m old enough to remember those years.... Thanks god...!!! Regards from Argentina from an old Beatle fan....
i have been a fan of the Beatles all my life.Believe when i tell you this is a fantastic cover by this group.I have heard other Beatle covers by them and they are awesome. Also great to see bands like these introducing Beatle music maybe to generations that did not grow up with them like i did. After all these years their music is still magical.Bravo The Analogues.
No frills, no Beatle cuts and nothing other than absolute genius Beatle duplication. The first band ever to show the complexity and difficulty of the Beatles creations to all who care to watch. Everyone should watch this band, they're absolutely fab!!!
This song becomes more beautiful to me the older I get. Students of classical music don't learn to create their own renditions of classical pieces. They strive to recreate a particular piece identical to the way the composer intended, with all of his emotions and the instrument sounds he felt. This is their greatest achievement. They don't create their own renditions. This piece is a classic, and you perform it masterfully!
These people are all doing the best impression of the Beatles I've ever seen. Yet, they have a blue print to follow. Now just imagine the incredible genius and love it took to create that blue print?
I remember as a 12 or something year old getting such a kick out of playing my own Descant recorder to this fabulous recording, and it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I was to start with guitars around then too, and still have several of them hanging on the wall behind me. Now I can get them down and join in with these remarkable guys as well as the incomparable Beatles music is faithfully reproduced by these wonderful musicians. I haven't been long is finding the Analogues but I mention them in seemingly every musical conversation I have these days and long for the chance to go and see them play live. Thank you guys......... beyond compare!
I just 'discovered' these days earlier today (august 28 2022) and I've been glued to every video they posted here. They are FANTASTIC!!! Paying their homage to The Beatles like no other!!! They are THE BEST!
I've been a Fool on The Hill for almost 49 yrs since I first listened to this cut on MMT in spring 1968. Still live on a Hill now, looking for a Fog Upon LA sometime soon....
@@YoRHaTypeANo2 I sure feel like flying to blue jay way. lets go to Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane too while we're at it, it will be a magical and mysterious tour ! perhaps a bit expensive, but i'm sure you'll be able to cover it since baby, you're a rich man. I've heard that a man with a walrus moustache and a foolish grin lives there too, he was pretty famous back in your parents' generation, your mother should know about him. So lets say hello to a place where nothing is real and goodbye to a boring life. Its easy !
Only just discovered these guys because their Penny Lane was an advert before another video I was about to watch. Thankfully I didn't press 'skip video' like I normally do. Brilliant musicianship and so faithful to the original songs. A pleasure to listen to.
Simply superb! These talented musicians have replicated the Beatles' repertoire to an extraordinary degree. Hunting down the exact instruments to achieve the precise soundscape!
I have already seen several videos of this band and I am still amazed! The interpretive quality and versatility of their musicians is incredible, each one plays different instruments and they also sing very well, there is nothing left but to congratulate and thank them for their work 😀
If I’m not concentrating I still occasionally think they’re singing to the original backing track! Their attention to detail is astonishing! No wonder they are so popular - they are the absolute best!
Ну и чем это не шедевр? Просто, что называется, гениально! И Битлз гениальны в своём роде! И эти талантливые ребята тоже архимолодцы! Браво-брависсимо!!!
David Clayton @ BBC radio Norfolk mentioned this group on his Sunday night programme, Sounds of the 60's. They are as he suggests absolutely brilliant!
With The Analogues fanatical attention to detail, and the help from camera work, we can hear instruments with a granularity not available from Beatles records, not to mention the vintage turntables we played them at the time!
