No Knead Focaccia Bread
🔶Ingredients
🔹All purpose flour - 500 grams
🔹Warm Water- 400 grams
🔹Salt - 5 grams
🔹Olive Oil - 7 grams
🔹Active Dry Yeast - 1 tsp (5 grams)
🔶Method
Mixing the dough:
🔹In a bowl, add water, salt. Mix until the salt is mixed. Now add olive oil and mix. Keep it aside.
🔹In another bowl, add flour and yeast. Mix well. Make a well in the centre and pour the water mix. Mix the dough until it comes together and forms a shaggy wet dough Cover with a wet towel and let it rest at room temperature for 30 mins.
🔹After 30 mins, stretch and fold the dough as shown in the video. Cover and let it sit for 20 minutes.
🔹Repeat this process 2 more times.
🔹After 3 rounds of stretch and fold process, leave the dough to rest for 2 more hours.
🔹Once the dough is proved, place it in the fridge overnight.
🔹The next morning: Take the dough out and allow the dough to rest at room temperature for 2 hours.
🔹Grease the baking pan with olive oil. Transfer the dough into the pan. Carefully stretch the dough without deflating it.
🔹Rub your hands lightly with the oil and using all your fingers, press straight down to create deep dimples. Cover and let it rest for 15-20 mins.
🔹Meanwhile Preheat the oven at 230/c. Place a baking pan filled with water in the oven.
🔹Place your favourite toppings on top and drizzle some olive oil. Sprinkle some flaky sea salt all over.
🔹Bake for 25 mins. Remove the pan from the oven and transfer the focaccia onto the cooling rack.
🔹Let it cool for 20 minutes before cutting. Drizzle some olive oil and enjoy!
