Juan Manuel Basurco was a Spanish priest, and a professional footballer. On a mission to Ecuador, he was signed by Barcelona SC, and played in one of the greatest matches of all time. He achieved one of the greatest feats of all time, in the history of the Copa Libertadores. His goal, scored when Barcelona SC beat Estudiantes in the 1970 Copa Libertadores semifinals, is called "La Hazaña de La Plata" (the Silver Feat).
He is hallowed, mythical, and integral to the history of the Copa Libertadores.
