@@notabot1039 waltz is a dance in 3 times ( for this video, the left hand play "1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3..." )

@@user-uc7eb4fb6xSo anything that follows the left hands rhythm for most of the video is considered waltz? So would most of the idea songs by Gibran Alcocer (that follows a similar left hand rhythm) be waltz if not why?

@@notabot1039 exactly, each idea (1 to 22) are waltzes. but there are exceptions, like the 1st movement of Beethoven's moonlight sonata, it is also in 3 beats but it is not a waltz. but in idea, Idea 1 to 22, the pianza waltzes, or the Shovtakovich Waltz No. 2 are waltzes.
