It's one of the anime series my younger brother has hounded me for years to get me to watch. I did start it but got lost in the streaming services. Started on Hulu then it got taken down. Found it now on crunchy so got added to the list
Over half of the series (Beyond the Boundary, Black Bullet, Infinite Stratos, Brynhildr in the Darkness, and Problem Children are Coming From Another World, Aren't They) are Sentai Filmworks titles and Beyond the Boundary, Infinite Stratos (season one, only,) and Problem Children... are all streaming on HIDIVE.
i often feel these days like bloom into you has become a forgotten anime. 6 years on and not even a hint of a peep at a second season to finish the manga adaption
lol pretty sure IS is a meme on most anime websites. Basically about how it's pretty trash but the MC gets a harem and doesn't know how to handle it. So any time we get an anime like that, people refer to it "like IS." Also, totally agree Absolute Duo is underrated. So is Problem Children, although it never got finished. Which is super sad.
Beyond the Boundary was definitely my favorite from the list, you won't regret watching it. BBB was beautiful and had some amazing action scenes but sometimes things went so fast it was hard to tell what was going on, still amazing and worth the watch. IS is a classic and worth the watch, would also recommend Hundred as it's basically IS if aliens invaded earth. Black Bullet deserves AT LEAST one more season, highly recommend. K project has beautiful animation and great fights. Absolute Duo was okay, it didn't feel special but it was still worth watching. Brynhild was an emotional rollercoaster and totally worth the watch. Problem children was fun and deserved more love.
I could be just oblivious but have you heard of an anime called the future diaries? In my opinion, it's an awesome survival anime and I feel like nobody brings it up very often.
Man when I saw Infinite Stratos I was so hoping you'd pull a sike and throw in Hundred. Its significantly better than IS with and not quite as dense protag and a pretty cool suit system.
Beyond The Boundary and Black Bullet are in my dvd collection. Wish Black Bullet would have gotten a second season, but from what I've heard of the manga, the story gets darker and sound like it loses some of the light heartedness that help the show be so enjoyable. Not sure I agree with calling it a lolicon show because of the negative views that have become associated with the term. It's actually pretty wholesome the relationship Rentaro and Enju have. The jokes get pIayed off very well with Enju's constant attempts at getting Rentaro's affection in that way, and they don't come off as just lewd humor for the sake of it. The scene where Rentaro scolds her for high kicking while wearing a skirt makes me laugh every single time they way she reacts and what she says back to him. I know all the others except the last one.
With the exception of "K / K-Project", I saw all of these anime, although a couple I did not quite finish. Also; while that bunny-girl from "Absolute Duo" is a crazy riot (pun intended), straight-man Kuro-Usagi from "Problem Children..." wins hands down as Best Bunny-Girl on this list.
I saw about half of Beyond the Boundary, I have seen the whole of Absolute Duo, Problem Children & the first season of K, as well as half of K's season 2, but I haven't seen Blood Blockade Battlefront, Infinite Stratos, Black Bullet & Brynhidr in the Darkness.
Here what I've seen. 1. Beyond the Boundary 2. Blood Blockade Battlefront 3. Infinite Stratos (read the LN but not all the way) 4. K Project 5. Absolute Duo
Beyond the Boundary - Is actually about a guy with a Glasses Fetish simps for a clumsy Glasses girl Kekkai Sensen - K.K. is actually best girl! She is also best mom IS - Childhood friend ridges the game and gives a boy a heram. Black Bullet - The mask father guy is one of my favorite villains K - I have not watched Absolute Duo - They where force to become a couple. I remember childhood friend turned evil for a moment Brynhildr in the Darkness - haven't watched Problem Child - One of MC fought and beat a god in his first game. Minutes after arriving
I don’t think I.S is that forgotten compared to them it was pretty good and had second season i just wish it wasn’t so suddenly abandoned, absolute duo is definitely underrated and forgotten cause sometimes I mix it up with other similar anime like hundred.
I remember when Blood Blockade Battlefront was sorta popular, hell one of it's ED's was referenced and meme'd on for quite some time. Is it really forgotten? Or more so ignored and passed by on due to so many _"modern"_ anime fans only caring about brand spankin' new anime all the time? Infinite Stratos is still considered popular in Japan. Also, bravo on adding Black Bullet, that was niche even back then. 👏👏👏 Shame it never got a continuation.
1.) Kyoukai no kanata 2.) Idk / haven't watch 3.) IS. . Ah yes Ichika the densest thing in the universe. Tatenashi nice taste. 4.) Black Bullet. 5.) Idk / haven't watch 6.) Absolute Duo. Such a cute teacher. 7.) I forgot the title of this one. But it have darkness in the title. Also one of the weird dark anime. It is good though. 8.) I forgot the actual title of this one. I think it is like Mondaiji Taichi ga isekai Kara kuro so desu yo. Also one of the most op male lead ever. But technically balanced. I guess that's it I have 2 that idk.
I'm officially too old and have seen too many anime. I've seen all of these. If I have to rate the list probably Brynhildr in the Darkness is the least known.
Black Bullet is an anime I love dearly and intensely. It us an absolute cringe that it didn't get more seasons, and I have advised vinyl 7 of the LN because I hear that it stopped in the most disappointing way imaginable. My heart.... Also, I will never not cry about that one fucked scene. No one with a heart should get past it without feeling a lot of Simeon.
i have seen beyond the boundary, black bullet, k-project which is on my top uhh 4 atm it was at top 1 and current anime that holds that spot is Violet Evergarden but my top one changed like 4 times xD and thats all from the ones in the video
1. blood blockade battlefront 2. black bullet 3. k project and number four is problem children are coming from another world and these are the anime i just watch
Blood Blockade Battlefront is easy one of my favorite series (Love Chain 😍) while as for K & Problem Children (Bunny Girls 👍) I very much liked it, but Beyond the Boundary is on my watchlist while the rest I have to finish or have to start
Absolute duo’s translations sadly got dropped after volume 6. Also IS author seems to have a mental block and has been sitting on volume 13 for a while. Anime covers around volume 6. I’m surprised I didn’t see black bullet or hidan no aria here.
i’ve seen: beyond the boundary but havent finished it (Cuz i forgot about it lol ironically) Infinite Stratos (its forgotten for a reason tbh) K and one of its two movies/specials i’ve had blood blockade battlefront on my watchlist for a while. i know about Brynhildr in the Darkness but wasnt interested.
you know what, i lived on anime for 2 decades and this list is not very inventive to be honest. surprisingly or not surprisingly it is mostly things i droped or was never interested in to begin with where is my kemono no shouja erin, figure 17 , hare nochi guu, mahoujin guru guru. did everyone forget how big hit "working" was in the windows vista times? natsu no arashi if you like shaft anime, and if you never tasted shoujou anime mixes with sport and fenomenal voice acting yumeiro patisiere (because nobody can voiceact falling down the stairs like this) step out of shounenvile
Mushoku Tensei Made in Abyss HEAVENLY DELUSION Cyberpunk Apothecary Diaries Steins;Gate Bocci the Rock Girls Last Tour Horimiya Original Spice and Wolf The Fate franchise Silent Voice Magi and the kingdom of magic 86 Tanya the Evil Probably seen a chunk of these but I would recommend all of these
@@GainingDespair There's only one of them that I haven't watched yet, The Fate franchise. I guess it's multiple anime where the title starts with Fate/Something right? If Yes, I've only watched the "Unlimited Blade Works". Someone told me that it has multiple different stories and that there was no specific order to watch them but yeah, it's kind of confusing.
@@itz_karizma More or less, there based on a 18+ game, which has 3 different endings. And the series more or less focuses on any one of the 3 endings. There's a lot of watch orders for the multiple endings just start with Grand Order if you want to watch a handful of series based on that timeline. Or you can watch the Heavens Feel movies which I highly recommend very high quality.
@@itz_karizma The series has multiple timelines really no wrong starting point as long as you start at the beginning of a timeline. Not really complicated, based on the game which has 3 different endings? So the series covers the multiple endings. There is: Fate/Zero Fate/Stay Night (and Unlimited Blade Works) Heavens Feel movies That is the mainline content (3 different endings to the games story) so it doesn't matter which order you watch these in as they are all their own conclusions and unrelated to the others. After that Grand Order series which has a start and end watch order and the handful of seasons under different names. Honestly I say go straight to the Heavens Feel movie, if you enjoy it finish the movies and start Fate/Zero. The movies are very good especially the later ones and are all part of the same timeline of possible endings.
In K Project series, Neco is not human, Yashiro wasn't starting to lose his memories, he lost his memories from the start, explaining why he didn't know what was going on. Also the current Red King Mikoto was not in danger. There was no war between the kings, they always clashed over time. Blue and Red were clashing this time because of the murder, but it was not a war. Also the battle does not put the fate of the world at risk, what can happen is if a King exceeds his abilities, which causes them to sorta explode, can't even take out an entire city with that.
the Lyrical Nanoha franchised has been underatted lately, not many people knowing about it anymore. also this year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Nanoha franchise.
I watched Absolute Duo and Infinite Stratos, they were totally alpha. Although I think it was kind of annoying how dense Ichika was even though it was pretty obvious that those girls liked him. But, hey, whatever happens happens
Forgotten? My dude, my IS blu-ray is signed by Monica Rial (Houki) and Josh - now Jessie - Grelle (Ichika). And while I may or may not possess multiple figurines of Cecilia and Charlotte, Tabanne Shinonono is best girl, TYVM. I also own Brynhildr in the Darkness on blu-ray and let me tell you, the manga is even more wild.
I only recognised one and that's only because I rewatched it recently being infinite stratos. But thanks for the recommendations i'm definitely going to give a lot of these a watch.
As a big fan of No Game No Life, I consider Problem Children to be a rough draft that should have been scrapped. While NGNL clearly establishes 10 pledges that dictate the rules of the world and references them regularly throughout the series, Problem Children features games that make little sense and seems to make up the rules of the world as it goes. Cute animal girls are the ONLY thing it has going for it.
0:42 Beyond the boundary 2:11 Blood blockade battlefront 3:49 Infinite stratos(Harem meccha) 5:25 Black bullet (🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨) 6:36 K project 8:09 Absolutely duo(watched it but didn't like it) 9:37 Brynhilder in the darkness(just watch it) 10:40 Problem children
Happy 10 Year Anniversary this year to my favorite anime series of ALL-TIME, Brynhildr in the Darkness(2014) I still re-watch the Cult Sci-Fi Ecchi/Erotic Harem Anime Series to this day and I still love it to this day. 🥰 Thanks again 414Anime for making 4 "Top 5 facts" videos on four of my favorite Brynhildr in the Darkness Anime Girls/Waifus, Neko Kuroha, Kana Tachibana, Kazumi Schlierenzauer and Kotori Takatori. BRYNHILDR IN THE DARKNESS FOREVER 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I've seen all of these except Blood Blockade Battlefront Beyond the Boundary: Fantastic, highly recommended Blood Blockade Battlefront: Never seen, no opinion Infinite Stratos: Kinda funny but also kinda generic harem with some lewd moments at the same time Black Bullet: Kinda harem vibe, questionable levels of degeneracy but honestly the story is very good wish the creator didn't abandon it genuinely feels interesting and unique (would recommend) K-Project: Old anime, don't recall a ton I just remember not disliking it Absolute Duo: Generic anime =/ Brynhildr in the Darkness: Dark anime, kinda overly edgy at times, but a good anime for those who don't like the typically overly happy everything always works out kinda endings in 99.9995% of anime Problem Children: Old as well, I remember being pretty funny while not generic the feel of the show comes off as somewhat bland.
0 points. Sorry, but none have caught my eye. Sure, I have seen clips and heard of them, but not enough to choose to watch in full. Do another one of these, cause I do like them, and I want to see if I had watched anything you watched. Also, still waiting for that list of 100 Girlfriends Rentaro has thus far. You mentioned these characters in this, but I’ll just say it; there’s a cat girl in the harem.😊
K Project is so bad. I watched two seasons because of Seri. France is best boy/girl. Problem Children needs more seasons. Brynhildr in the Darkness had the cute cat song. Need to watch Absolute Duo.
Blood Battle Blockade and Kproject are amazing love their animation I liked mondaiji so much wanted to read the light novel since like ngnl no seaskn 2 :( Am sad Black Bullet will never get an ending so even light novel is a cliffhanger since author dropped it but heard he went on to open a restaurant or something so glad doing well. Also thank you for saying beyond the boundary have to start that one day.
gr8 list 414 watched half of this list this time compared to the last list you done will try try and watch the others especially k defo picked the two best bunny girls in anime rito from absolute duo does not get talked about enough without going into spoilers Love black bullet especially opening from fripside wanting 2nd season so bad
For those who want an anime that has no outright wars nor fighting nor sex nor anything that would be outright for adults yet is unique and actually fun to watch that is full of action but not violence nor war. Kino's Journey and Kino's Journey The Beautiful World. Those 2 are a franchise that focuses on true action adventure and mystery but not in the outright supernatural but just mystery in its core and the core of action and the outright core of adventure. They are dam near perfect anime that are without flaws and they are done in a way that has no equal. They are not a generic type of anime. There are a few anime that have tried replicating them like the traveling witch but they are in fact a glorious anime that are above all others because they are simplistic in their premise and done so well that they defy norms of anime itself. They are peaceful but not sexual romance. They are not a sexualized anime they are simply beautiful in the purest of senses.
