Something silly I want back is them not making there beds every morning. In the sims 3 lazy Sims or just in general they wouldn't make there bed unless they were neat or had some other trait or you told them to. I feel like it gave them more personality with that small thing. Sims 3 is the most superior in my opinion!
Same thing about the beds in Sims 2. I miss those little features. I think the one thing I like about Sims 4 is everyone except the slobs wash their hands after the toilet. I miss the animations of making food and having to buy groceries.
In the sims 3 you could walk into the townhall and get administration stuff done. Such as changing your name without a cheat, registering a business, buy extra lots, or starting a lawsuit ( if you had late night and you were a celebrity) The only thing I don't want back from sims 3 is celebriry defamation because I could get defamed for everything ( even wohooing my spouse in my own house ) and even my dog would read the articles and lose friendship with him. It was pure bullshit. I really miss being a landlord and making my own apartment complex however.
I was talking about this with my friend who started playing with sims 4; sims 3 has a lot going on! It feels like they crammed every second of it's active time full of depth. And that's also why it ended; it was trying to reach beyond the constraints of the technology available. All of the gameplay added, Create-a-style EVERYTHING, you could directly edit the world--hell, you could make your own world practically from scratch!! Sims 4 was and still is a definite improvement when it comes to organization of the menus; build/buy being combined, having a search bar, and CAS in general. Also, building! Building in sims 4 is really user-friendly. And being able to easily switch between households in one save file! But sims 3 has sims 4 beat when it comes to gameplay, hands down. I don't think it's wholly possible to experience every bit of gameplay that sims 3 has to offer tbh, it's kinda amazing!
I want packs and kit on more themes. I was once making gothic Sims and their rooms in their homes and I noticed there weren't enough gothic themed items or clothing, which is unfair. There are simmers out there who want to create more themed Sims and creations, but, especially for those who don't use mods, they can't create the themed things they want to make since most of the content in Sims 4 is mostly modern and basic with the themes.
05:07 We have bouncers. When you buy that 1200 simoleons door in The Sims 4 Get Famous, you can hire one bouncer per door. It's 100 simoleons for 1 bouncer and they stand there for 12 hours before their shift is over and another bouncer takes over. I find them practical even if it was to have just another sim for my sims to talk to if they need their social bar to get in the green.

Oh god this is making me want to spend a truckload of cash on re buying everything for Sims 3 and have to uninstall sims 4 to make room. It just seems like much more fun to play
@@mouthbreather9435 I'm not too sure, they tend to have a good few a year, last one ended on the 17th of this May. My guess is it might be on sale on the June 23 - July 7 summer sale. Online there are lists of when the next general sales are, but I don't know if TS3 will be on sale or not.
Hmm it kinda makes me wanna look at them in reverse now. What do we have in TS4 that's not in TS3? I bet a lot of people would get their money back for TS4 if it was offered. Just looking at it, you got more for your buck in TS3 even without the store. One EP back then gave you what they split between EPs, GPs, and SPs in TS4. So much money wasted.
I noticed sims 4 have always been like this, they Just wanted earn more money without work hard on sims, another sims like 3 or 2 were produced not only because of money but also to make the players glad
I LOVE The Sims 3. It was a major part of my high school years. As you've pointed out, it's just so much more engaging and in depth. It's fun and I played it consistently vs occasionally for The Sims 4. I have every single pack for that game. I haven't played it in like 4 years. Ever since I got the Sims 4, I can't go back. The Gallery is just something that is too good to give up. On the Sims 3, I'd spend hours scrolling different websites just to find a good house for a family I wanted or hours looking at CC hair and clothes, skins etc. And then hours troubleshooting which of the many CC i just added caused my graphics to glitch. It was just a lot of work because I hated almost all the in-game hair/clothes. Now with the Sims 4, I don't even use CC because I find the art style and ingame clothes/hair acceptable. So much easier. If they just ported The Sims 3 into the engine/style of 4 it would be perfect for me.
ahhh it just makes me so sad how little content and gameplay we have for the sims 4 compared to the sims 3. i also really miss the dancing on counters in late night 😭
If I could bring back any character in Veronaville I would bring back Sycorax Gale(Juliette’s other grandma), who would hate the Capps and like the Monty family. She has stolen many items from the Capps, and even has a secret room. She would hate Tybalt, but would have had a memory of beating up Contessa right before she died, and has stolen her portrait that Caliban painted before he died, and has plots against Goneril. Sycorax was friends with Patrizio since teen years, and was enemies with Consort and Contessa. Sycorax won a fight against Consort's parents and they died after, as there graves would be behind her yard. If you get the city expansion pack she would be a witch, pets she would have cats, and open for business her on park. Her Husband Prospero is dead in the back yard, after the golden anniversary party, and she has interest in crime and weather. She would have completed her golden anniversary, before her husband died. She has a painting of Consort Capp’s parents in her secret room, a painting of Contessa, and Goneril. All dead sims have a rose near their painting. Her house has an empty room, and even has a garden. In the secret room she has a book called Consort’s files. What character would you bring back to Veronaville?
If we GET the werewolves game pack in Sims 4 it would kind of make a super natural pack in a sense since we have Vampires and Spell casters Also like in Sims 3 supernatural expansion pack. Either way it would be cool/ interesting and make game play hopefully good/fun. Maybe. 🤔We could hope at so at least. 👍✌️
If werewolves are next, it means we will have paid for three game packs ($60) to get only 3 fifths of the occult types that came with Supernatural - a $40 expansion pack. So no zombies, no fairies, and we’ll have paid a lot more. People’s argument against that is always ‘Well, Sims 3 is a 13 year old game - you can’t expect to pay the same prices now.’ But my response is that Sims 4 is now an 8 year old game, running with high lag on a really old engine. We shouldn’t have to pay over the odds for what we’re getting out of the game now.
i’m in love with the sims 3. The only thing i’ll say bad about it is that the sims either look too realistic or look like play-Doh. Many other things like open world and actually going underwater with your mermaids makes up for the graphics of the sims. I also love all the details of the open world and houses.
its totally worth it. i would recommend downloading some mods to help gameplay run smoother and downloading some lighting mods and cc to make the gameplay and characters look way better. once you do that the game is basically a sims 4 but way better
It is a pity that Sims 4 did not use the potential from an older sims, My opinion is that they should add everything that was in the Sims 3 and 2 and more, so that it would be the best game, but instead they gave everything less and worse.... Because they Just wanted less work for more money :(
Alot oif people keep getting this wrong. Fairies are in the sims 4 they are just not usable occults. They are both in the sylvian glade and They are familiars in realm or magic. I wish they were actual occults.
I was hoping the Zombies would do more cool things like invade homes and actually attack your sims but sadly all they did was annoy your sims whenever they were outside and destroy your gardens.
Sims 3 seemed to have more depth, lazy sims wouldn't clean up automatically, children and teens had things to do (the mini oven for kids was brilliant as was the tree house) the personality you had given your sims shined through and made each family unique.
