The Forgotten Goddess - Remembering Our Sacred Feminine Roots 

There have been times in the recent past in which I wondered if my late beloved dog, Merlyn, wasn't what ushered in my own Mother phase more than a decade ago. I needed to shift from being wholly self-centered and caught-up in my own issues to learning how to hold loving space for another lifeform. Though I have no intentions of being an actual mother myself, this was a weird way for me to experience this particular phase of my life. Considering that I've also more often than not felt like I was perpetually stuck in the Maiden phase, complete with insecurities and naivete, it's been a challenging time trying to keep from getting too stuck in my own head and being more empathetic to others around me. To top it all off, I might be approaching menopause, so it's beginning to feel like my imminent Crone phase is preparing me to more seriously attend to my sexual and spiritual health; through watching insightful videos like this one, reflecting on insecurities which no longer seem to cut as deeply as they used to, as well as wondering how all of this ultimately ties into an even deeper level of ancestral healing of toxic shame. At least I'm at the ass-end of puberty now, so it won't last forever. :)
