What is your favourite LEGO Game ? 🔽 Mine is personally LEGO Lord Of The Rings 😎 Also for anyone who plays Fortnite i have a Creator Code = RUGGEDEAGLE Thanks for anyone who supports me 🔥
Lego City Undercover will forever be my favourite Lego Game to date, I never got tired of the campaign and the game was made really well. Chase McCain is such an enjoyable protagonist to the point where I want a Lego City Undercover 2 and see what Blackwell will do.
@@upsetpringle8353 Hell nahhhh that game is terrible game play and graphics wise thought the story is good for a quick sit down if you know what I mean
@@upsetpringle8353 They could do so much with it now. Like imagine a multiplayer mode with cops V robbers. That’d be best in Lego game 2.0. The map could be huge and over a much larger area. I’m already getting crazy ideas for missions.
YES! YES! YES! Finally, Someone is giving this masterpeice the recognition it deserves, My hat is off to you Sir. The real reason it was forgotten though is because it was originally released on the Wii U, which ultimately flopped, however it was saved from complete forgotteness in 2017, when it was re-released for all major consoles. The really weird part though is this: Lego City Undercover was released in March 2013, and LCU: The Chase Begins was released a month LATER in April 2013, this technically means, the 2nd game came 1st, and the 1st game came 2nd, True Story.
I don’t know if I’d exactly call it forgotten but that’s probably just a personal experience because I and other friends of mine know and love this game. I’d argue the forgotten underrated Lego game (controversially) is Lego dimensions as it was very expensive to buy the main game and the expansion packs, etc. Lego dimensions had a great campaign, great expansions, great ips and great characters and they brought them all together amazingly. And it’s pretty obvious that the devs were massive portal 2 fans and may be the only continuation of portal 2 we will ever see. I hope one day in the distant future we will be able to emulate Lego dimension with a Lego portal and anybody can play the game with any characters and packs we want without spending hundreds.
My favourite Lego game finally gets some recognition. The entire game is a good vehicle mission. Chase McCain. The OST. The character customisation. The city itself. The references. The whole game is a masterpiece
LEGO City Undercover The Chase Begins for 3DS doesn't get nearly enough recognition, it's a prequel to the console version and it's amazing. The open world is surprisingly really good for an older handheld. If you have a 3DS it's definitely worth checking out.
LEGO City Undercover, the one LEGO game I really can't stop playing. It's a really good game in my opinion, with all the refrences, characters and everything else the game offers. Just such an amazing game. Apart from the... sudden crashes (that sometimes happen when I play on steam, and I have no idea why) it's just... amazing. Defiently one of my top 3. (and just gonna point out, currently beating the game 100% on all 4 save files, why? Well, it's amazing. Yeah)
It gets boring after you 100% complete it but it’s still addictive. Although it has a slight bug with the ingame timer that show how long you’ve played in total. Because mine only shows ~48 ish hours when I’ve spent so many summer nights playing it for 7 hours straight and more in the day 😅
Someone Popular is FINALLY making a Video to give this Beautiful Action-Packed Game more Attention for people. Cause of this, I’m gonna tell you all about how much I like this game and my crazy windy experience with it! -------------------- My Opinion and Personal Experience: -------------------- This Game is severely underrated and it definitely should’ve been on more Gaming Systems like the other already published LEGO Games out there. And of all LEGO Games published, LEGO City Undercover is the Best! I easily give this Game a Solid 10/10. The Gameplay is Stunning with it’s superb graphics, it has so many Collectable Items scattered all across LEGO City ranging from the Character Tokens to Jethro Hayes Pigs all over the Open World. And like mentioned in the Video, 450 Gold Bricks is a VERY BIG Number for a LEGO Game, but it’s also a Perfect amount for a month long leisure play through of this Game, I like how TTGames can make all these amazing LEGO Games for the World. -------------------- The Story Plot and Experience: -------------------- The Story of this Game takes place after the 3DS Prequel Version of this Game, in which the Protagonist “ChaseMcCain” gets sent to “The Other Side of The World.” When you start up the Game, the First Cutscene plays out with Chase coming from a Place called “Brick County” on a big Cruise Ship. When Chase steps off, he is reintroduced to Mayor Gleeson telling Chase about how the Antagonist “Rex Fury” has escaped Prison and is at large in LEGO City. Now we’ll talk about Chase and Rex Fury. ChaseMcCain is the Main Protagonist of LEGO City Undercover. Chase is a Nice Police Officer in the Fictional World of LEGO City, he has a Crush on a Woman named Natalia Kowalski who *was* a reporter. In the Prequel, but when Chase accidentally revealed Natalia’s Identity during Rex’s Trial on Live TV, he was sent to Brick County Police Camp and Natalia was put into Witness protection. Rex Fury is the Main Antagonist of LEGO City Undercover. He is a Bad, Bad Criminal and he’s behind the Crimewave for a second time. 3 Months Prior when Chase came back, Rex Escaped from Albatross Prison and was committing Crimes and probably plotting World Domination Planes in his downtime. -------------------- Now The Experience with LEGO City Undercover: -------------------- The Game has a well Thought out Storyline with a very Climactic Ending. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this Awesome Game and I still replay it to this Day! It has Great Replay Value and even after 100% Completion, the Fun seems to Never End. Throughout the Story Mode, there are many Funny Movie References sprinkled through the large quantity of Cutscenes this Game has to offer, and the Jokes and Humour in the Game is Real Good, some of the Jokes are Appropriate and like anything else, there are some Adult Jokes hidden throughout too. And with that Information, let’s get to the Intense Ending of this Game. You will find out in Special Assignment 14 that Forrest Blackwell is behind everything and is with Rex Fury to “Destroy LEGO City.” And in the next Cutscene, Blackwell Tower, a Towering Landmark in LEGO City is revealed to be a Giant Rocket Ship. Forrest Blackwell has captured Natalia in the Rocket while he blasts to his Moonbase. When you enter the Command Module in the Moonbase from an Apollo Island Rocket, you have a Crazy Robotic Machine Fight with Rex Fury. After Rex is defeated the Command Module Self Destructs and is headed to the Ground and Destory the whole City. After fighting Rex by throwing his Henchmen at him, Forrest Blackwell blasts Chase and Rex Fury off, and now for the Good Part. Chase has 3 Insane Minutes to Fall To Earth and Save the City. The Music in the Background is nothing short of Action-Packed and Memorable. and when you finally reach part of the Rocket Ship falling back down, Chase pulls the Lever which are the Brakes and he saves the City and Saves Natalia in the process. As for Rex, he fell head first into someone’s rooftop with a Toilet on is Head. Now that Peace is Saved, LEGO City isn’t as Frightening anymore. -------------------- Conclusion: -------------------- Overall this Game is Very Exhilarating and Intense, and like Mentioned previously, I give it a Solid 10/10. I highly Recommend any LEGO Fans out there to go ahead and Play. This. Beautiful. Game. Thanks for reading this, it took about 34 Minutes to Type out, and I give my Sincerest Goodbye. ~LEGOGlitchyUndercover
I loved this game and didn't find it till about 2019 and I think it really needs a sequel. It was truly a breathe of fresh air after the last few years being the same copy paste games. Truly underrated
That's honestly why I think it's the best Lego game OF ALL TIME because it's not afraid to switch things up, I Hope we get a sequel but we probably won't with Lego City Adventures taking over every Good part of Lego city.
Lego City undercover is super underrated, i love City undercover, my second favorite game (Nr 1 is the skywalker saga), The story : 9.6/10 The characters : 8.9/10 Levels : 9.9/10 Open World : 10/10. Total : 10/10.
Lego City Undercover isn't forgotten, as it's still talked about. I would've called it Underrated, if it wasn't for the fact that Lego City Undercover's often praised by critics and it's often called GTA but for kids A lot.
5:24 Fun fact the choir is actually singing LEGO and after wards CITY... as a refference to the game. Anyways thanks for covering this game. Its my favorite LEGO game of all time
Thank you for recognizing this awesome game. This game is actually the second most forgotten, the original DS prequel for LEGO city undercover. It is called lego city undercover: the chase begins. The fact that a DS exclusive lego game got a console and pc released sequel game is amazing!
I actually played LEGO Rockband and although it's definitely a Rockband game first and a LEGO game second, I think it still manages to capture some of that classic LEGO game charm
I remembered seeing someone play this when I was 8 on RU-vid, and I loved it. This and LEGO Worlds were the two LEGO games I wanted to get when I was capable of getting them. It also has a prequel called LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins, where we get to know about Chase's past. My favorite feature from this game was definitely the super builds, seeing something being built all out of LEGO brick by brick was absolutely amazing. I wish this game gotten more attention, it was absolutely great.
Forgotten? I just recently played this and personally one of my favourite LEGO games I could never forget this I also thought this game did great a lot of youtubers at the time made a loooooot of videos on it. I just don’t see this as forgotten
I watched Shawshank Redemption just a few weeks before starting the game and I remember being really excited about all of those references in the prison level
I actually bought Lego city undercover twice : once on ps4 when it re released, and once on the switch for the Mario Easter eggs. That game is so awesome, it was 100% worth it!
Honestly, this game is probably in my top 10 favourite games. I got it with the playstation 4 and loved the story, so much that I regularly replay the game. I love how There's only 8 charecter types which allows for you to use your favourite charecters all the Time, and this game just controls super fun. And the charecters are amazing for a video game, they all have depth even if every other line is a joke, and McCain and Vinnie have to be two of my favourite charecters in a video game ever.
I've played every single lego game (exept skywalker saga and dimensions). And I'd say that LEGO city undercover is my favorite lego game of all time. I really like the characters, the story, the open world a bit. And I'd love to see more content with Chase McCain, whether it is games, tv shows or maybe even collabs with diffrent games such as multiversus or fortnite.
@@ruggedeagle they need to make more lego games called lego transformers, lego fast and furious, lego 007, lego the hunger games, lego men in black, lego the mummy, lego gi joe, lego thundercats, lego he man and the masters of the universe, lego tmnt, lego pokemon, lego sonic the hedgehog, lego super mario bros, lego the legend of zelda, lego Ghostbusters, lego DC games, lego voltron, lego planet of the apes, lego monsterverse, lego night at the museum, lego spongebob squarepants, lego rugrats, lego jimmy neutron, lego avatar the last airbender, lego samurai jack, lego dexter's laboratory, lego powerpuff girls, lego looney tunes, lego tom and jerry, lego scooby doo, lego the pink panther, lego she ra the princesses of power, lego Battlestar Galactica, lego star trek, lego batman 4, lego DC super villains 2, lego arrowverse, lego stardust, lego digimon, lego dragon ballz, lego doctor who, lego avengers 2, lego marvel super heroes 3, lego spiderman, and lego indiana jones 3, lego jurassic world 2, and lego pirates of the caribbean 2.
A couple of years ago I saw this game in target so I bought it and had an amazing time i think the game is so cool on how you go to the museum, prison, space, fire station, the hotel, etc
I definitely wouldn’t say Lego City Undercover is forgotten. It’s pretty recent in it’s release, and it’s re-release. There are a handful of RU-vidrs out there who put out, or have put out LCU content. In many ranking Lego game lists, LCU is pretty high up there. It’s also in many best Wii U game lists. I’ve recently played LCU on my Wii U, and usually play it once in a while, and it’s a fantastic game. Probably my third or second favorite Lego game.
@@Rwn.c5 Lego Marvel’s Avengers might just be my favorite, followed by Dimensions or Lego City Undercover. If given time, Skywalker Saga may soon be my favorite though.
I have it on the Wii U, but I actually played it about a year or two later after getting it used at a discount when I finally decided to try it out, and I’m glad I did it’s a great game. The prequel on the 3DS isn’t too bad either.
Bro this is my second favourite, played the whole story 2 times and I love it, it’s absolutely insane, the pc version which is what I play is AMAZING! You can free run and do awesome missions, the characters are insane and chase McCain is awesome as a main protagonist, bloody legendary
I ordered Lego City off of Amazon during quarantine (because I obviously had some time on my hands) and I had an absolute blast! One of the most unique and amazing Lego games for sure. Another underrated lego game that I was predicting this video could be about is Lego Hobbit, love that one too.
No way in any shape or form can you consider LEGO City: Undercover is "forgotten". It's consistently placed in many player's top 5 LEGO games of all time. Had a relatively recent re-release on PC, XBOX & PS4, had a world included in LEGO Dimensions second year and has references inside the hit LEGO City Adventures Netflix series. Now had you said Bionicle Heroes (which is a true underrated & forgotten TT Games gem) I'd have agreed completely.
Looking at Steam, I wouldn't say this game was forgotten. Underrated, maybe, especially since it isn't a movie tie-in, but not forgotten. Now if you want a forgotten game, there's Lego Rock Raiders (or maybe the Lego Island games).
Lego city undercover is proabbly my favourite Lego game, I absolutely love it, it is criminally underrated. It’s defiantly in my top 3 with Lego The Skywalker Saga and Lego marvel avengers.
Well tbh unjustly forgotten by many is and stays lego rock raiders (specifically the pc title). It had its flaws (and crashes. many crashes), but a lego rts and basebuilding? whats not to love about that. Sadly one of the "will never get a reboot" titles. But i am still happy regardless that there is a community around that game.
He isn't lying, I got this game so early on and 100 percent it around 2016. I still have a blast playing it and it is in my top 3 favourite. I do believe you should cop it. Albatross Island really does feel like Alcatraz.
I've been wanting to make a video on this game for a while because to me it is the most concentrated and pure Lego game as it has free licence with the IP and the humour it can really come into its own. I think it's one of the funniest Lego games and I always want to show people the jokes cos they are so good and I love all the movie references. Also the open world in my opinion is the best as it's so huge and has so much variety and you only encounter a loading screen when entering the police station. Also the way the disguises demonstrate the core Lego gameplay of different abilities solving different puzzles is so perfect to teach first time players. My only complaint is its to big. I find 100% a bit gratuitous cos it can be hard to find everything but the completion bonus is so worth it unlike most other Lego games in my opinion. That hasn't stopped me from completing it on Wii u switch and I'm almost done with it again on PS4. I've also recently started playing the prequel on the 3ds which I am also loving
I love this game a lot, definetly one of my favorites to date. But there are some problems with the game which just prevents me from being able to play and enjoy it, one being simply that my PC is too garbage to run the game compared to how it was back in 2017. And another issue is that... the game is filled with glitches. Levels getting randomly stuck on black screens, levels crashing the hubworld crashing 5 times in the span of one hour... I do not really think porting this game from the Wii U to the to other platforms was a good idea because (Well I can only mention the PC version in this case) the game is full of glitches that ruin the experience and makes you not want to play the game and I do not want to buy a Wii U or any other console just to play this one game.
while this game means a lot to me, it doesn't quite reach the top, my favorite would be Villains. but in all seriousness, we NEED more of this game that isn't a lazily written 3DS game or an extra world in Dimensions, neither of which left any lasting effect on the story
I actually played this game back on the Wii U and I remember loving it, I'd love to pick up the switch version too for all the Mario Easter eggs. My favorite Lego games are Lego Marvel 1 and Lego Batman 2 and of course Lego Dimensions!
This game is probably my favorite lego game of all time; well, at least it's tied for first with Lego Batman 2. I love the game so much that I own three copies: PS4 Wiiu and Switch and a copy of The Chase Begins, a 3DS exclusive prequel to Undercover.
I bought this on my Switch months ago, and didn't really like the gameplay to be honest; being used to the other LEGO games, paired with playing on the Switch, probably didn't lend itself to having a good first impression. The characters and story are good so far, though, I've just been putting off finishing it because I've got other games I'd like to finish too.
I’ve played this game and I loved it. My favorite parts were the campaign and the cutscenes were really charming. The open world was fun as well though I have a personal soft spot for lego games with IPs, I love unlocking my favorite characters and playing through a movie or certain story.
It makes me sad because this is by far my favorite, I even like it more than the complete saga. It was the first game I ever completed and it made me the completionist I am today. If you've never played this get to it as soon as possible, you'll not regret it
I recommend anyone who is now planning on getting this to get it for the switch or wii u if possible. They don’t have coop but they are much better than the other versions.
I personally really love the game and it also was the first Lego game I played and i just replayed it before the release of the Skywalker Saga. I also think this game has aged very well to this day. I think it would be really cool if this game had a GTA-like multiplayer.
Lego sity undercover was the first lego game I played... And still after 6 years after I played more lego games like marvel 1,2 avengers, Skywalker saga, worlds, ninjago... Lego sity undercover is still the Best lego game to me! As a Child I complete it 100% 2 times! That is how I love it. Love the open world, love the plot, the soundtrack, the gameplay, and characters. Still the Best lego game I played!
It's my favorite lego. The world and the implementation of the lego theme is just amazing. I also like how you do not play a flying superhero, so you have to use vehicles for once and get even more immersion for lego city.
YES! finally somebody gives this game the attention it deserves it had so much potential with a sequel. however but since it isnt that popular we sadly didnt get another one. I really hope we do tho ._.
Yeah I played the game in 2017 and The references in City Undercover are actually hilarious and has one of the best original story and open worlds of any Lego game I highly recommend.
I got so many memories from that game I got it on the Wii U like 2013 or 2014 maybe don’t remember, but I do remember playing this game a lot and I do mean a lot, the character are all super great and I love a lot of them, the clown mission is one of my favorite moment in the game, now I have so much memories with my being a little kid when I get it if I still have it I would still play it to that day,so I Probably going to get it on the ps4
I've played this games story about 5 times now and have 100% completed the game twice. Truly a staple of my childhood and this game is one of my all time favourites for how many memories and good experiences it brought me and many others around the world. The story I'd give a 10/10. Characters/Costumes 9.5/10 and gameplay a 9/10. Very very good game
LCU is incredibly underrated. I love how this game is it's own original franchise. The characters are lovable too, especially Chase who can go from BAMF to a shrilling sarcastic goober. I really hope there will be a LCU 2 one day but I'm afraid Chase & co. will get overlooked now due to the new Lego City Adventures line...
We need the Lego games from the Xbox 360 and ps3 ported to switch and modern consoles imo Also don’t remind me of Lego marvel 1. I still absolutely HATE the top down car racing. So infuriating….
I'd be interested to see you talk about the portables more, like I had Complete Saga DS and it's very different to the console version. I think there was also a few other games, Indy, SW2, and HP maybe? I didn't play those, I did rip Bionicle Heroes onto my R4 though, and I loved that. Better than the console version.
I played this game like 2 years ago and it was alright. I had no idea it was so unknown game. The musics were really good and open world was really big
I love this game but I've never been able to achieve 100% because every time I try to select a helicopter to complete some of the open world missions, the game crashes.
I loved playing Leo City Undercover (both of them) I have the one for the 3ds and I have the other one on the PlayStation 4. I'm pretty sure they're different games. And your right, no one ever really talks about them. However my all-time favorite LEGO game Hands down is LEGO Lord of the Rings. In fact that game is the only reason why I kept my PS3
Lego City Undercover is undoubtly one of my favourite LEGO Games ever... but do you remember the MMORPG style game called Lego Universe??. That game was awesome, sadly it was removed and I couldn´t played that much.
Yes!! My favorite Lego game of all time is Lego lord of the rings, but EVERYONE forgot about the prequal to Lego city undercover “the chase begins.” It’s EVEN better but NO ONE talks about it.
Agreed! Best LEGO game ever, my son and I played this on PS4 and over a period of months got 100% on everything (we had to type in a code to get one outfit that was glitched though).
I barely started playing it because I had no childhood and I can say is, even tho I'm a massive batman fan, lego city is my favorite lego game till now, I still need to play like a lot of them, but the story is entertaining and the game is like ACTUALLY funny like not only for kids but older people, it has like actual action and it has some unique features and things other lego games don't have.
This was my Lego ChildHood, along with Lego Star Wars 3. Although, I have to be honest. I never found out about the extras menu. Now I need to get it on switch and play it again lmao.
I also love the character creator. You can make anybody go undercover. You can have a police officer Natalia save Natalia, and have frank honey work with frank honey to get the [Spoiler] to [Spoiler]
The worst thing about it is the driving mechanics and how fragile the vehicles are, it makes the vehicle sections really infuriating and unplayable. I also don’t like how when you’re driving and you hit something, you’re completely redirected in the opposite direction regardless of what it is that you hit or what vehicle you’re driving.
Lego City is one of my favourite from the others. I was trying to reach to this game for years. I don't know why it's just got forgotten by the big part of people. This is the most aesthetic, real life kinda game.
I think lego city undercover: the chase begins on the 3ds (which is a prequel to lego city undercover) is the most underrated game. It is genuinely really freaking good.
I've played the original version on Wii u and the fact that it got a remastered PS4, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo switch rerelease is pretty epic and another thing to notice in the remaster is chase's police outfit is different from the Wii u version not to mention a few extra new vehicle's were added.
