As a newcomer to the whole art thing… I really like Arts Hole. Entertaining, informative and funny which mean I not only pay attention, I actually remember it.

This should probably be the first video in your playlist. Thanks for explaining the technical nuances and difference between terms like shape and form, and tone and colour. Coz we hear these words in art appreciation videos, but perhaps often misunderstand them as they are commonly used in very non-technical sense in everyday language... While teaching literature some of the first things we teach are the basic technical terms - like verse and poetry are not synonyms, anything sad is not tragic - theses are technical terms with very specific meanings in the literary jargon. It is an added bonus to find these correlations between learning how to read art and how to read literature. Thanks for this technical lesson. I'l keep the ideas and terms in mind while viewing other videos - it'l help me to understand them better.
