Harry Secombe used to have a Villa on Formentor in the sixties,The hotel was always a focal point for stars like Elizabeth Tayler etc.The Hotel was used for a summit conference in the late 90s and Winston Churchill wrote part of his History of the English speaking peoples there.Then back to P P my happy place had the pleasure of living there for nearly ten years.
Lovely trip. Certainly on my list next time I'm there. It's a shame La Fortaleza estate is so hard to visit, if only they could turn it into a resort with all those villas...
