The Union Pacific 3985 is one of only two surviving Challenger-type locomotives which, as 4-6-6-4's, are almost as large as the more famous Big Boys. 3985 had her own excursion career starting in the 80's, but had to be retired due to the need for a serious overhaul. But soon, she may get another chance at it.
