Separate shops need to happen, just so LEGO can get it's own shop and have cosmetics that are compatible to it. Then Battle Royale's shop can feature any cosmetic or emote previously made for it and not be held back. Doggo, TMNT, and The Weeknd returning for the 80th time this chapter won't convince me to buy them. In fact, it makes me want to avoid them like the plague. I don't mind the amount of cosmetics in the store at a given time. It doesn't overwhelm me. I think it also gives more variety. I'd be pretty bummed if I looked in the shop when I have Vbucks saved up and just see one Marvel collab and a few emotes and a pick axe. More items means more chances for there to be something you like in the store (if it wasn't repeating the same slop). I'd still prefer the cars only showing up if you have Rocket Racing selected and Music stuff show up if Festival is selected.
At some point, fortnite is gonna have so many items that i dont think they can continue with a daily shop. i think every skin at some point will be available at once by a search bar, new items and items that epic wants to, will be highlighted below the search bar.
I honestly agree, my biggest nit pick wotht the shop though is the fact that everything is SO cluttered, it looks like a streming service, it's genuinely atrocious and they need to fix it as soon as possible. Absolutely GOATed video Brotha, keep it up🗣️💯
The shop sucks because during the 800 fired employees, item shop team got booted so now its an ai and i dont like getting bombarded by karol g deadpool cars and all that bs
People need to keep talking about it and tell Epic we need a search bar and a date when every item is going to return. They can still do their daily shop and stuff but we should be able to buy whatever whenever. Especially if they know the items have a chance of not returning.
It's worse that fortnite removed rarities for skins and different equipment in the locker section they only rarities we get were Marvel series, Slurp series, and stuff like that . It already makes it hard to easily find the skin, back bling, or pick ax that you want to use unless you have it saved as a load out. It would be much easier if they brought back rarities to the locker section again so that it isn't a i spy game most of the time when trying to find the skin or equipment you want for your loadout
@@elmizzox yeah but they weren’t to this extent where Collabs made up pretty much 90% of the item shop They did have Collabs every once in a while but they stayed for an appropriate amount of time before leaving and they didn’t make up the entire item shop only 10 to 20% back then
@@Finnie3421 OG BP Items aren't Returning at least not yet, For now It's just The Current BP and All future ones But I'm With you I would Love the OG DP, Herald Thor, OG Midas, Peely, Meowscles and Agent John Jones Sets as I never played those seasons(Due to My former Fosters Banning Games, or Only having a Switch(around Odyssey's Release Date so Late 2017) and 3DS)
well, imo 8:02 it is kinda ussefull. because if you wont able to get it on the 4th day, you could get it on the 5th day, because i almost bet that alot of players doesnt know about the new fortnite item shop site. (only for new cosmetics tho)
I would fix the item shop by making each game Fortnite Lego, Fortnite Festival, Save the world, Rocket Racing, Creative + UEFN and Battle Royale their own mode so when you open the game you can choose between the modes when you open the game like in chapter 1, chapter 2 and chapter 3 and not a big clutter of a million different games
For cohesion sake at least, I think it’s fine that they have everything from the battle Royale menu, but the epic games stuff should be first before any of the other modes
I think it needs to be like rocket leagues shop, L2 and R2 to switch between smaller shops, A “Item Shop” tab, “festival” “rocket racing” “Lego Fortnite” “marvel” “DC” and all other things tab within the shop. When you select one there’s the features billboard for that mode. Festival will have the Karol G pack as a billboard, marvel with iron spider, and normal br with whatever they want. Did I cook chat?
I think that when you change to a new mode like Festival THAT'S where the Festival Items should be. Make the main shop smaller. The Rocket Racing Shop should have Racing style cosmetics, cars and Trails. For Lego, when there are lego collabs (like ninjago,DreamZzz or Monke Kid) have lego building sets and skins.
Fortnite should honestly just rollback to the Chapter 2 UI. It was sleek, modern and simple but it still retained the classic Fortnite style (angled edges, font, colors, etc). The UI we have now is straight-up soulless, it looks like Netflix or something. Oh and on the topic of Chapter 2 UI... BRING BACK FULLY 3D LOBBIES, EPIC!
Id do it how they did it with the seperate tabs for STW BR CREATIVE but have it as. | FESTIVAL | BR | LEGO | Then the main item shop like you said had mini shop tabs with diffrent collab skins so its compact but not messy and keep the og design with raritys that would be perfect
I like everything about this except the whole “racing shop is only visible when gamemode is selected. They should have the shops always visible but keep them separate like how you described the collab shops having their own mini shops.
The fundamental flaw with the new shop design is that they gotta show you a preview of the item without you clicking, cant have sideways scrolling because of that, everything is way too cramped up in the left and it feels overwhelming, like it's showing way too much but not enough, whenever you hover over a song or emote the music starts playing (and your lobby music stops) and it's distracting, now I have to pay attention where I place my mouse in the shop, if someone told me that the design was made so that the shop was as overwhelming and stressful as possible I would believe that.
bro i just want them to overhaul the UI to be more fortnite-like, and i want the battle royale graphics to become more cartoony like how they were in chapter 1 & 2
It’s just that it feels overwhelming to newer players. I’m not saying we get one page, maybe like 2 pages of featured and one of daily This is just so the item shop still has that “reason to come back daily” aspect. If it didn’t, just have a store that has all skins at all times
We need Separate item shops they are basically throwing stuff in here is what epic games should do they should make rocket racing Lego and Fortnite Festival to have there own item shop so let’s say for an example you click on rocket racing it will show you rocket racing cosmetics only to that mode and than you want to play battle royale that will have its own item shop as well this will make a lot of the Fortnite community happy so I think this is a good idea 👍 pls epic games do this
There will be a new item shop in October being a Marvel and Disney shop which will have Marvel and Disney skins and most likely cosmetics permanently and I think the item shop now in ch5 s4 is preparing for the Marvel and Disney shop or maybe it was preparing for the Web Shop the Metaverse actually has added some really good stuff it added Reload, collabs I really like, a 2nd Marvel season, the Web shop, and will be adding a new serperate item shop for Marvel and Disney called the Marvel and Disney shop now Marvel is owned by Disney so why not just call it the Disney shop and it brought the item shop timer back but in a new way as Fortnite has a timer on cosmetics and it brought item shop billboards and it stopped future battle pass exclusivity now the Metaverse has done some really bad stuff like changing the movement in BR, rarities being gone, and a bunch of other stuff like age ratings for cosmetics and the Marvel and Disney shop will be a good direction for Fortnite to seperate the item shops
I disagree with you. The item shop needs more items and they should be available all the time and you get to pick the skins you want. I also don’t like the rarities and don’t think we need them back:
