Thank you! In theory it should only get better, as I'm continuously retraining the model on outputs which I thought sounded natural, but I'm still thrilled with the current state of it, and I'm glad that you liked it!
I am stunned to find out that the voice is AI. Absolutely fantastic, the emphasis on certain syllables, voice inflection and correct pronunciation of Warhammer names/words plus the sound of taking a breath is perfect. I would have sworn its a real person and at the same time I am now a little saddened that this person does not exist. But I am happy that this narrator will live on forever. Again great work and dedication.
Chaos will never wipe out the human species. Without us to feed on and torment for fun, the gods would starve to death or simply die of boredom. We love to think we're special, but we're nothing but cattle. The Grey Knights are exceedingly few in number. They can win a billion battles and it won't make one billionth of a difference.
This summary suggests that Malcador interviewed traitor individuals as potential Knights-Errant candidates. That is not accurate. Malcador drew individuals from traitor legions, but never traitor individuals. That's an extremely important distinction.
From what I understand, human souls are destined to end up in the warp after death, where they are quickly gobbled up by starved demons. The general belief for imperial citizens within the setting is that the Emperor protects their souls, but I've never read a first hand source from GW which suggests that this is the case unfortunately.
Despite how it seems, exterminatus of a whole planet's population is a relatively rare occurance. Especially somewhere where you need experienced and capable defences like Cadia. Imagine having to repopulate a whole planet of 850 million people, teach them how everything on the planet works, train them in fighting techniques and get them ready for the next incursion...
Fair question, I'm not sure that I've read a good account on why they haven't taken any action, but perhaps they saw Cadia as such a necessary defensive position that they chose to not respond? One of the other replies to you from EthanKristopherHartley is an accurate answer though, they wouldn't be throwing an exterminatus around willy nilly, and so the value of having a fully trained, and fully manned planet is certainly worth far more than a barren rock.
Cannot wait for your Black Templar elucidation! BTW love the detailed inflictions on the voice, like taking a breath and emphasising certain syllables.
Got a few planned for the Black Templars, perhaps more than some entire xenos factions, but I'll have to wait until I'm in a crusading mood for it! And thanks for the comment, I spend an inordinate amount of time getting the voice to sound natural, so it's very much appreciated!
It's certainly an interesting faction. When I was first in the hobby I disliked them, but this was mainly because of some writing about Kaldor Drago and his demi-god actions, but they've certainly grown on me a lot since then.
Heard this story before...BUT I'm loving your narration style. Getting your own creative touch is the key to standing out these days. Scholars lore, I do believe you've nailed it! Well done!
Grey Knights: “If people don’t know the value of our chapter, it will be squandered on lesser threats. The Demons are our greatest foes, but most are ignorant of this!” Why don’t more people know these things? Grey Knights: “Uhhhh....”
It is very good! The artists name is Erik Nykvist, and they have done plenty of excellent pieces. I'd recommend looking on their website, everything up there is highly impressive!
@@Scholarslorewell they’d be like a 31k army. I’m not a fan of the new 40k Primaris lore, so I’d really love to see GW spend some effort on the years after the Heresy and how the Imperium turned into the 40k I miss.
Excuse us, Imperial Citizen, my Colleague from Ordo Hereticus and myself would like to know, how did you learn about those definitely non-existing supposed 'warp entities' and supposed 'silver angels' ? *flamer torches anxiously*
After reading the excellent Broken Earth Trilogy I have decided that the Inquisitors' greatest secret is their paradise planet. They have collected children and try to raise them into good happy people to try and change the Immaterium. But Big E in the Warp fights them.
Honestly, I'm delighted with the new voice...I know of course that Sir David Attenborough has a huge following worldwide but for me as a non-native speaker his voice always had a slightly unpleasant tone. I still found the idea funny and enjoyed watching the videos...but with the new voice they are even more enjoyable! Thank you so much for the incredible work you put into it! And happy new year! The Emperor protects! . . . . Hydra Dominatus!
Thank you! I’m genuinely very happy to hear that you liked it. I think you might be the first person I’ve heard who didn’t like his voice! I think I’m in a bit of an odd position, where I personally wasn’t 100% happy with that voice model, however I’m far happier to have moved on from it. In any case, happy new year to you too, perhaps the hydra will have a video of their own in the new year 👀
Sounds like something he would say 🤔 I’ll be doing a nice khorny vid about angron, and khan quite soon, it’ll probably be split into two vids, but I’m pretty excited to write it out
