Wow thats strong stuff. We got something called "Relentless" here in the UK which is supposedly quite twitch provoking, but that Four Loko drink looks like it takes it to the next level lol
You ask what alcohol is in the drink: ethanol. Also known as ethyl alcohol, the alcohol with a hydroxl group bonded to two carbons. Any alcoholic drink has this chemical, other alcohols like methanol or propanol are more toxic. If you are asking what alcoholic beverage is in it (as in Whiskey, Beer, wine, or tequila) the alcohol is fourloko comes from "malt", beer that has been brewed to be as flavorless as possible so they can add in fruit flavor.
@RedJoker I know. But it is all about the signals that it sends. A regular bottle of vodka sends far different signals to the consumer than a bottle of alcopop. By making bottles look like something that we are used to, it sends a stronger "its ok to drink" signal (in this case to younger people).

It was dumb of them to ban the drink; it's consumer responsibility to drink wisely. Thankfully, They're putting four loko back on the shelves now that they reduced the caffeiene. Might I say, this video is adorable!
