The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.
The telethon was created to help support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which is leading the fight against muscular dystrophy. MDA dedicates itself to strength, independence and life. To learn more about MDA and to donate, please visit www.MDA.org.

Rest In Peace Lawrence, Levi, Obie, and Duke. With the passing of Duke yesterday 7/22/2024, all Four Tops are together, again.

Levi was one of my favorites. Got to see the Four Tops perform live in 1972 at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. It was during the hippie times. They had every student; teachers; and security guards up dancing by the second song. No other R&B group could have accomplished that during that time period. God bless all of them !!!! Thanks for being there !!! Love those guys !!!!

I just loved this video, the four tops are the greatest ever, Levi his voice is phenomenal no other like him, he had the voice of an Angel, all of them we god gifted talented men. Amazing, Teddy started out as their drummer ! Producers thought Harold Melvin (on the far right ) voice was too soft for the lead ! One day teddy was rehearsing drumming along with their records and singing along and producers realized he should be the lead singer and the rest is history .,
