He’s a defensive liability, that’s why Pep got rid. We won’t be a top team relying on players like him. He’s also too emotional in pressure situations, throughout the season, even at the beginning he made costly errors, it was just that at the end of the season they led to goals.

Ive bought about 30 arsenal tops in the past 15 years, 29 of them from China off Ebay for 15-25 USD :) after I burnt about 10 of them a few years ago after a disgusting europa league loss I finally snapped and fell out of love with the club.... like most the past 18 months has slowly got me back on side and I purchased 5 more tops.... from China

Food for thought in terms of the kit, let’s say we go above and beyond next season and do what we haven’t since 03/04, the kit will become the best kit since said season, and then the shirt might clash if it had the Wins and Draws of a different season on this one. It will help for 10 years time if someone try’s to buy the shirt off a reseller website etc.. not sure I’ve explained this perfectly and it’s not a great excuse 🤷‍♂️

KDB is a great player and has been fantastic for the PL, so I wouldn't usually say anything... but since you come with 'big chest', I thought I'd look at the stats. Odegaard is 24 btw. KDB at 24 for the season 15/16: 7 goals & 8 assists Ødegaard at 24 (this season) 15 goals & 8 assists. So KDB's output wasn't better at 24... you can argue he was a better player at 24 if you want... Ødegaard overall game and work rate is also underrated/not seen by many. Defensive stats for this season: KDB Tackles28 Tackle success %43% Blocked shots21 Interceptions9 Clearances10 Headed Clearance9 Recoveries97 Duels won102 Duels lost106 Successful 50/50s32 Aerial battles won13 Aerial battles lost13 Ødegaard Tackles36 Tackle success %64% Blocked shots33 Interceptions6 Clearances12 Headed Clearance3 Recoveries178 Duels won123 Duels lost157 Successful 50/50s48 Aerial battles won14 Aerial battles lost20 So some similar ish on some areas, while both player better at different aspects. Ødegaard number of tackles and tackle success is much higher than KDBs. Same with blocked shots. Ødegaard has a much higher recovery rate (that could be an age thing tbf), better 50/50s. KDB is much better in the air. But overall you can see that Ødegaard contributes much more in his defensive duties.

Don’t like the inverted LB. We are Arsenal Football Club & should have enough in midfield to not need to have Zinchenko moving into midfield to be an extra man. It also means Gabriel has to cover LCB & LB which means when he does, it opens gaps, giving the opportunity for a fast winger to get in behind.

Gabriel was our best defender post world cup. The amount of ground he has to cover is insane, White probably isn't aggressive enough to do that role and win the first ball as often as Gabriel does.
