@-KurbZik actually. You can blame russia for starting world War 1. Due to its intervention in the austrro-serbian war, it escalated the conflict when it could've been resolved peacefully.
I usually dont like modern day mods because nothing really happens plus because of pax americana nato basically curb stomps, plus Id have to ignore the fact that going to war with russia or america would result in my nuclear anihilation lol. But I like this regardless.
