LilyOceanStars I remember someone talking about Catherine and Peggy and how Peggy had saved Catherine when she was just a little baby, (I had to read an article to get the details for this), but Philip Schuyler (the Schuyler sister’s father), had a small group of soldiers assigned to guard his house during the American revolution, Angelica and Eliza both were visiting since both of their husbands were still fighting in the war AND they were both pregnant. One day in the month of August their house was attack by local Tories (colonists who supported the British during the revolution), and Native Americans, and as the guards were fighting them off everyone ran upstairs and barricades themselves up there in one of their bed chambers waiting for help, soon their mother Catherine Schuyler realized she forgot her baby daughter who was also named Catherine, asleep downstairs, then Peggy who was 22 at the time, ran back downstairs and retrieved her sister, and she ended getting confronted by the attackers ransacking the house, and the first thing Peggy told them was that armed forces were on the way from town. And as Peggy ran back upstairs with her little sister, one of the attackers swung a tomahawk at her (it’s basically like an axe that Native Americans used) and it caught her skirt and also damaging a nearby banister, and soon reinforcements did arrive at the house. I read a whole article about this so I didn’t know ALL of these major details at the time but I did know that Peggy did save her baby sister one time, and this is what ended up happening. In Hamilton, Peggy isn’t really given much of the credit she deserves, as much as I love the musical, I wish they could’ve given her a little bit more of the credit that she earned in her short life, good job Peggy 🥳🤗😊
They had a brother named Philip and turns out that Peggy’s real name is Margarita and she married her cousin from her mom’s side, the Van Rensselaers. Angelica married a man named John Barker Church. Eliza and Alexander would actually name their kids after their friends and family. Like their sons John Chruch Hamilton, Philip Hamilton I and II, Alexander, and James Alexander. I Ben their daughters were Angelica Hamilton and Eliza Hamilton Holly. Eliza, Peggy, Angelica, Catherine, Cornelia, and Philip also had 9 other siblings.
Me and my friends were talking about Cornelia and Catherine. I'm pretty sure they're much younger and we were laughing about how funny would be Angelica was just holding a baby doll edit: that's a shit ton of likes
Deadpool I WILL! where can I watch this one-man show? Will it be sold out? I’m sure there will be so much drama in it with just one character. Prob gonna cry😢

@Conn Lucifer oh no I've been in the roleplay world for years and have met people who have embedded there character into the story and even change characters personalities for there own character
Angelica Schuyler Church Elizabeth "Eliza" Schuyler Hamilton Margarita "Peggy" Schuyler Van Rensselaer Cornelia Schuyler Morton Catherine Schuyler Malcolm Cochran
Real I got ensemble in the school play and this is exactly what I did. I actually wrote a song for my “sisters” in ensemble based off the Prologue of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 😅
This reminds me of when I was in seventh grade and I did the Cinderella musical for the high school. I was in The ensemble but they gave me such a pretty common stress that was just as fancy as the ones they had for the stepsisters so we all came up with my backstory of me just being the strong cousin of the stepsisters since my line was "or will he want a stronger girl"
When ur dancing and everyone looks at u funny but u don’t stop and when someone tells u to stop u say shut up cus they don’t control you And u need to dance for theater practice but I know u will fail then u go outside trip on a rock then tree hours later u can’t feel your legs And the whole theatre club is angry cus u ruined the show and the other theater club won
@@kylafrieden917 actuality their parents had 15 kids but 7 died before their first birthday so they ended up with the girls cathrine cornelia angelica elizabeth margarita (peggy) the boys of philip john and rensselaer so yeah
I don’t think they had any brothers because in the research i did they had like 10 sisters (don’t know there names) but Anglica, Eliza, and Peggy were in Hamilton life the most (out of all the sisters) that’s why they were in the musical
@@Aldcscat There were, and Lin Manuel said he didn't include that fact because it made it more dramatic for the pressure of society to be on Angelica, it's kind of how Angelica never liked Hamilton. Now Hamilton is an amazing play but it's inaccurate to history
I'm known as the 4th Schuyler sister in my group, Beth, cause my names Elizabeth snd that was already taken along with Eliza XD, i even hwve a bracelet
Just so you know there are more sisters, but Lin decided that because Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy were the oldest and closest, those people were the only important characters to the story.
I remember making the backstory for my character for ensemble in a Sweeney Todd musical. Let me present to you: Gwendolin Vardend He’s a closeted gay librarian who is married and having an affair, of which is caught having said affair of which is why he was sent to the Psych Ward. Of they couldn’t pray the gay away, maybe conversion therapy would work. As a Lunatic, he was a very skittish and elusive creature that couldn’t keep his footing due to Cerebellum damage from an attempted brain surgery. So he’s constantly fumbling and tripping as he traverses, a husk, a once was of his former self. He would d!e after being trampled in the 2nd act, when Fogg dies.
There was a lot of stuff I didn’t like about Hamilton not saying it was bad I loved it but there was 5 Schuyler sisters and they left peggy out in a lot of stuff
Everyone: there is four Schuyler sisters There are 10 Schuyler sisters Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla Me: wait, whos the third sister? Hmmmmm... Angelica.. Eliza...Uhhhhhhhhhhhh?!?! HALP ME
So after auditions for a play at my school (Like more than enough kids auditioned) One girl got 5 of the main roles. One dude had all cast for this one character. And One of my friends wanted to boost their confidence and they got someone who never talks and is just there. The rest either got the ensemble or a role not that important.
