A classic from the golden age of crime fiction, the vintage era, of Cyril Hare, John Rhodes, Margery Allingham,,Agatha G,and hundreds of other British crime novelists, and does justice to the book.

I had to turn off... the intrusive, incessant background music gave me a headache!

This series is wonderful. Thank you. British mysteries at their finest. But for me the second best aspect is the fantastic Jazz music score. The photography on the staircase was captivating. Just one episode won't be quench my thirst so I'll see you in 2 more days. Delicious series.

Really good adaptation of a great story blighted by horribly intrusive and annoying noise ( I cannot in all honesty call it music ). Each episode gets more screechy.

don't care for slow release, breaks up the flow of info having to wait next day, too much like those awful soaps. However, after the dribble, a hearty thank you is still in order for the uploads of these old shows I never heard of - for our entertainment..THANK YOU (Plot/outcome known only due to another updated release, will judge which is better. Probably this as its hard to improve on the originals)
