@@jasonarmes8153 i do hope they join the tour. this whole album with the promo vids is just joyous.... its almost like everyone's been unleashed after being locked down for a year.....oh ...wait
@@ryanlaird6447 oh fuck off- we only have four or five musical acts that don’t involve bloody bagpipes and one of them’s a tax collector who’s bin dead for a hundred years. Here in Scotland you haftae take what you can get
I heard this on the radio this morning and it literally stopped me in my tracks. What an absolutely brilliant cover version. I love the instrumentals and this guy has an incredible voice. I spent most of the afternoon watching this over and over again (when I should have been working). One of my favourite cover versions ever.
Have to agree, these have been at the far reach of my radar and the record is a classic and this was one of the best things I ever heard when Christoff had them in. Quality
I genuinely struggle to look at the other two - not because there's anything wrong with them, I just physically struggle to keep my eyes off the middle one!
I am SO addicted to this track... heard it o Chris Evans a few weeks ago and now play it loud on repeat over and over - driving my family nuts but its just so uplifting, you have to dance and move to this... simply wonderful - thank you Fratelli's
The range that these guys have on music is incredible. On top of Jon having amazing vocals, the Fratellis are one of the most underrated bands out now.
Mate they've been around for 15 years had a few top 10 albums and singles in UK so let's not go acting like they haven't had the recognition or that they're some new to the scene indie band that your jumping on with your hipster bandwagon.
@@Bluenosedcoop They are incredibly underrated though. They were popular in the UK during the Costello Music days, but they never reached that level again. They deserve to be playing stadiums.
This is bloody brilliant !!! And totally addictive, love it even more than the original! Great cover, sensational back up singers and what a voice he has, gosh!
Yes! Couldn't put my finger on it, but I could absolutely see Neil singing this! They've both got exceptional voices, particularly in their lower register. Lovely.
Nicely done lyric changes almost missed them until he didn't already tell us in the 1st verse. Agree got one or two Divine Comedy CDs and seen them live, now have one or two Fratellis CDs and will try and catch them live.
what a superb cover version and a terrific all round performance. the glance and smile from the middle backing singer at 39 seconds to the girl to the right is a defining moment in you tube viewing history . trust me on this.
This is one of the most catchy disco pop songs ever penned....I was a youthful punk rocker when I first heard this and I loved it😮 I still do and I'm 62 next month 😊
