Hey Guys, Migs Here! In this video, I am getting the free pit bike that was found in the garbage, a 2003 Honda XR 70, running! I install a new coil on it, clean the carburetor, do any oil change and a few other things to make it start! Thanks for Watching! When I was young I had a CRF80F and when I bought it it had 0 oil in it. So what did I do? RAN THE THING DRY WITH NO OIL FOR 3 MONTHS! Those air cooled CRF/XR engines are INDESTRUCTIBLE!

When you pour oil pour it with the little lime that tells how much is in the quart facing away from you so it pours quicker and doesn't spill in other words pour it backwards

If you fill a container with fuel, put the carb and everything in it. Leave it for a couple of days and it will be so clean.

U could have rode it around the yard with the flat. As long as ur not hitting rocks or jumping going fast u won't bend a dirt bike rim. I rode a half mile through rocky trails with a flat on my pitbike and it was fine.

make sure to get someone to help you check the jetting on your bike , you can melt a piston on a two stroke in less then a mile when you're in the power with the wrong jetting pretty easily

you should fully redo the engine put all the crazy parts in it clean the engine and make everything shiny and put brand new bars and plastics on it new tires and make it look better than it did when it came out of the factory

I’ve realised that Honda and Chinese’s versions of the 50 and 70 motors are actually quite reliable they will run only just with a carb clean I sold a Chinese xr70 that only needed a carb clean it was the easiest 100 bucks I’ve ever made

that "oil", that leaked from your rms exhaust is actually fuel/air mixture that kind of leaks, with the exhaudt gas from exhaust chamber towards silencer. Hopefully you can understans me.

it doesnt hurt anything though Its better to have more oil than not enough and it runs fine i wouldnt adjust the air/fuel mixture screw

You probably want to watch it for gas in your oil eventually because that carburetor is prone to leaking gas in the oil after a while so then you need to get a new carburetor

your lucky your rm125 engine isn't garbage i had water in my crank case and coolant water rust and milky oil in the oil pan and all my clutch plates were rusted and falling apart

If you run two stroke fuel in a 4 stroke engine it won't hurt it, you may fowl plugs a bit faster and put out some smoke, but it won't ruin the engine, just don't run regular gas in a 2 stroke

Lmao I literally just got my old 02 xr 70 out again used to use it for the pits on race day but got a klx140 for that back in 08 it’s been sitting since but it fired up 1st kick after I cleaned the carb 🤷🏼‍♂️ Honda’s man they run forever
